Had a wonderful birthday getaway with my gal, my sisters and their fellas. Was very peaceful and relaxing. Enjoyed fishing, bonfires, cooking out, cards, and exploring. Went to Hayward on the day it was raining and visited the Fishing Hall of Fame and Museum and shopped in some local shops. Went searching for some elk that were supposed to be in the area. No luck, but we did see a black bear near the side of the road instead. He even posed for us while we were able to get a photo from in the car before he ran off into the forest. The local residents were very friendly. Our Host Makala was wonderful in helping with our accommodations. I would definitely go back.

Very quiet and clean cabin with all you need to get away to the Northwoods! We had a blast!

Cute, clean, cozy, cabin! A little hike to the lake but no complaints. Would stay again!!

Nice cottage. Close to other cottages. Steep trail down to the lakeshore. Unsuited for older adults.

The weekend we spent here could not have been better! The cabin is in a peaceful setting with gorgeous views of the lake below. We did all of our own cooking and found the kitchen well-supplied with dishes, cookware and utensils. Everything was clean and well-labeled and the cabin was just wonderfully warm and cozy, from the decor to the furnishings, yet plenty of space to spread out. I will definitely look to stay at this property again in the future!

Great property with everything you need for a relaxing stay. We loved the location. It’s close enough to Hayward and just over an hour to Bayfield & the Apostle Islands. We also took a trip to Copper Falls State Park as well.
We loved the lake and the bench on the dock. Super relaxing bonus room that the kids hung out and played games in. Comfortable beds. Great kitchen. We also enjoyed the fire pit. I would definitely recommend this property.

A cabin was being built right next to this cabin. We were wakened every morning at 6:45 by saws and hammers. It was not a quiet experience. The cabin isn't as secluded as it appears. There are multiple cabins in the same area.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was awesome. Mikayla was just wonderful. We loved the area. The sunsets were incredible. It was such a quick run up to Bayfield. It was so quiet and peaceful. We loved the tuner was Bluetooth so we could play our music throughout the cabin. Our dogs just loved every minute. They are still exhausted. Probably the best cabin we have stayed at. It truly was great, we were very sad to pack up and come home. We really hope we are welcome back. We will definitely go back.

My grandparents are locals of Clam Lake, I grew up spending my summers running around the woods and haven’t been up there with snow in yearsss! To be able to stay at the quaint clam with my boyfriend and dogs to help celebrate my grandmas 80th birthday, and not interrupt her home too much was perfect. The cabin has literally everything you need and is so cozy, I felt like I was in a snow globe. The one recommendation we have, some blinds in the kitchen and living area would give some better privacy. All in all, this was a great stay and we will absolutely be coming back! Thank you for offering such a beautiful home away from home.

Beautiful, Snowy Retreat
I stayed at the Clam Lake cabin between Christmas and New Year’s. The cabin is warm (love the gas fireplace!) and quiet. It was perfect for cross country skiing and enjoying nature. Older or less able guests may find the steep stairs down to the lake challenging. And because other cabins are close by, it may not be as private/quiet when the area is fully occupied. But it’s in a good location, clean, and well cared for.

Always a great stay here. We weren't supposed to have the greatest weather while they were up there, and the property manager sent us a message as a heads up. Very caring! We have been going there 5 years now!

Our Summer Stay
This is a very quaint little home, Loved the porch & listening to the loons in the morning. The dock was just a few steps away and was very beautiful to sit at and watch the sunset. This would be a lovely lake to kayak & canoe so bring one along. Seems like the fishing would be good too. There is another cabin close by so you are not at a secluded place. As we were there during the week no-one else was around except for the first night. It was a very nice stay.

Convenient and Cozy
Just the right lodging for our Birkie adventure. Comfortable and spacious for four adults. Gas heating stove on thermostat created functional ambiance. Enjoyed the quiet and a full-moon walk on Lower Clam Lake. A morning snowstorm forced a late check-out for us, which was accommodated by our gracious hosts. Thanks!

Lovely cabin
I rented this on very short notice and was very pleasantly surprised. Loved watching the musky fisherman out the front windows. Great location for grouse hunting with our dogs. Neighboring cabins are close but no problem for October. Lake is beautiful and I would recommend this property to friends.

Even though fishing was a little slow due to a cold front moving through, we had a great weekend getaway. We still enjoyed nice boat rides around the lake and visited Morgan Falls and St Peter's Dome. I would recommend this place to anyone. Very clean.

Wonderful property
The cabin was nice and so was the surrounding property. The listing did not describe having to walk down 50 feet worth of staircase to get to the lake.
