About this cabin rental

From the moment you step on the beautiful, rocked porch this, unique cabin will impress you with its simple but elegant country charm. From the warm color of the handcrafted cabinets to the hard wood floors, no detail was overlooked to create an inviting cabin you will not want to leave.

Lake Ridge Retreat was built with two couples or two small families in mind. It sleeps four in two bedrooms and will also sleep two additional persons on the pullout sofa Both bedrooms are considered master suites with their king beds, and they each offer their own full bathrooms complete with both a shower or a bathtub for relaxing.

Because the Lake Ridge Retreat sits on a dead end road, there is complete privacy as you enjoy all the cabin has to offer outside. On the spacious porch there is a large picnic table with enough room for all guests to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner in the great outdoors. Outside, you will also find a generously sized hot tub and a large, private fire pit perfect for late night story telling and making s'mores.

Lake Ridge Retreat will not disappoint if you are looking for the ideal cabin for your getaway. It is one that you will want to revisit as your home away from home time and time again.

This cabin is pet friendly. Guests may have two (2) small dogs with a $20 / per dog/ per night non-refundable pet fee. All dogs must be kenneled if left alone in the cabin. Pets are not allowed on the furniture or in/on the beds otherwise additional cleaning fees may apply.

Check in time is 4PM or later. Check out time is 11AM. Additional fee of $100 will apply to late check-outs unless otherwise approved. All cabins are Non-smoking. RVs, Campers, and Tents are not allowed to be used on cabin property, overcrowding fees will apply. ATV and similar vehicles are not allowed to be ridden on the cabin property. The use of Fireworks and/ or Guns is prohibited on cabin property. Hot tub covers are to remain in place when not in use. Do not stand, sit, dance, or otherwise use the cover for anything other than its intended purpose. Pets are welcome at Kiamichi Cabins on a Cabin by Cabin Basis with the following restrictions: Maximum of two (2) dogs. If bringing a single dog, the weight limit is 80lbs. If bringing 2 dogs, the weight limit per dog is 40lbs. No dogs are to be left unattended. All dogs must be kenneled if left at cabin. Dog kennels are available for rental from Kiamichi Cabins. Dogs are not allowed on the beds or on the furniture. An additional fee of $20 per night will apply - regardless of how small or cute your dog is. Property damage or excessive cleaning will incur an additional expense.

The cabin was very spacious, clean and neatly decorated. We very much enjoyed the fabulous wrap around porch, grill and fire table. We realized we needed propane and the property management brought some to us quickly. We really enjoyed the stay and would like to return again.

This is the cleanest cabin I’ve stayed in Hotchatown. Really nice. The shower was amazing. We love the horse shoe’s and hot tub. The only negative thing has nothing to do with the cabin itself, but it’s the road. It had 6ft wide and deep craters in the middle of the road. Other than that, it was perfect.

Beautiful home and accommodations. Only improvement I’d request would be better maintenance on the road leading to the cabin. There is a few chug holes in the road you’ll bottom out your vehicle pretty hard! These need fixing!

We loved this cabin. Basically 2 master bedrooms with king beds. Large porches with great outdoor seating. Close to everything… drive through safari, lake, state park, restaurants, wineries and breweries. Definitely recommend!

The cabin is very nice and well equipped. The location very close to dining, shopping and the lake, which was my primary destination. It was a little tough getting a 20 ft boat in the parking lot and turning it around. I ended up having to back into the driveway. I would stay here again without hesitation.

My two best friends and I stayed at Lake Ridge Retreat for a week. Even though it rained most of the time we were there we had a great time. We all loved the cabin and everything in it. If I had one critique it would be more comfortable outdoor seating (better cushions on the couch) and a smoother road getting to the house. I'm sure it was because of the rain but there were huge holes in the drive. We HIGHLY recommend this cabin for location, cleanliness, privacy and comfort. Thank you for sharing with us.

We actually have a cabin in Hochatown, but it was booked. So we decided on a stay at this property over New Years. It is a little older cabin, but has been upgraded nicely, and it exceeded our expectations. This cabin is definitely a good value for the price we paid. It was just my wife and I, but there is plenty of room for two couple and a couple of small children. It is very conveniently located just two minutes off of 259 behind Hochatown Saloon. There are other cabins close by, but the trees and setup make it feel more secluded than many of the other cabins we have stayed at over the years. If we have the need, we would definitely stay at this cabin again.

My husband and I, our daughter and son-in-law, and son and daughter-in-law came to Lke Ridge Retreat for Thanksgiving 2022. It was a lovely quiet place to spend the holiday. It rained most of the time we were there that did not complicate things at all as we mostly just wanted to be together and visit. We had everything we needed to prepare our meals and having a dishwasher, washer and dryer, tv sets, a fireplace, and a hot tub was added bonuses. We even had fun taking pictures with the sasquatch.

The shower heads “took you to another dimension” according to my husband, and my kids spent HOURS between exploring outside and soaking in the hot tub. We really enjoyed our stay. Cabin was so much prettier in person than in the pictures. Location was great. Well stocked. We enjoyed the horseshoes and hot tub! It was also nice to be able to bring our little dog. Had trouble one time with the door lock not wanting to open. Called after hours and got a answer right away. Told me it may have a suction on the door to pull door to me as I was doing the code and it worked and we got right in. Would definitely rent again!

My husband and I booked this cabin for a trip that was close to home so we could spend some quality time with our nephews-without cell phones, iPads, etc. We wanted them to experience nature again, unplug, enjoy life away from technology. And they did!! This cabin was secluded, but still close to the town’s activities. Very clean and excellent floor plan, with a beautiful porch. Our nephews thought the cabin was “awesome” and we all loved the hot tub. My husband really appreciated the frozen mugs for his beer, as well as the bbq pit that he used to grill supper every night. Overall, very nice cabin that exceeded our expectations!!
