Perfect location for Rutland Water

Very handy location a short walk from Oakham Town centre, and close to Rutland Water. Plenty of places to eat nearby, and lots of walking routes in surrounding countryside.

A great place to say near Rutland Water

Rutland view is on the edge of Oakham and close to Rutland Water, ideal for exploring the area. You can do a very scenic walk round the Rutland Water Peninsular and have lunch at the Finches Arms in Hambleton Village.

Superb

Great location, near town and Rutland Water. Spacious property, 2 bathroms and 3 toilets. Lovely patio area in garden which was south/west facing.

Nothing was lacking, everyone said they would visit again.

Family Easter Weekend

We enjoyed the garden area and the kitchen with the dining room table and chairs - great family bonding spaces.

First class accommodation

ideal for our needs. very clean spacious and well equipped. minor problem on arrival which was fixed within 10 minutes of phoning. Offstreet parking and wifi. Lovely outdoor area and right on edge of town with plenty to explore round about. would highly recommend and use again if back in area.

Brilliant

Great location, very quite, nice to have milk etc on arrival, rooms spacious and comfortable, lovely garden, added bonus car parking on site

Happy with everything, could have easier instructions for the dish washer as we had no idea how this worked

We loved the area which was new to us and would be happy to come again for longer than 2 days..

A nice modern house in a quiet area about 7 minutes walk to Oakham High St. Good road instructions and communications.

May have missed the fact that it is 3 storey and two flights of stairs. Tap in bathroom basin very loose and flooded floor. A lighter weight duvet would have been welcome and at our age we still make our tea in a teapot but did not find one. Made it in the gravy boat! Key safe too high to see the code or operate comfortably. Name of Rutland View so expected to see the famous Water. Nevertheless, pleasant views of some fields over the play area. A street map in the property would be helpful. The partial map sent in advance showed a Barnsdale Restaurant nearby but obviously a Google error. We have holiday lets of our own so appreciate the various challenges.

Nice little holiday house, very near Rutland Water

Well equipped, clean, room for 2 cars on the drive, good sized rooms, nice showers with enough hour water for all, fast wi-fi and big Internet-ready TV, location great Rutland Water was great

Not much to complain about at all. Probably the only slight niggle was the early 10am checkout which I understand is COVID-related (longer turnarounds).

Great location for Oakham and accessing all that Rutland Water has to offer. Lovely spacious kitchen We had a great stay and would love to return

The house was clean and had plenty of space for the amount of people. The short walk to the beautiful town centre was amazing 😍

the property was in an excellent location for families to explore Oakham and Rutland water. it was spotless and spacious

we could of done with an extra key as we found the drop box a bit fiddly to operate. washing machine would of been a bonus

Superb

Well located near a park and grocery stores. 10 minute walk into the centre of Oakham. The two bedrooms with double beds were separated by the living floor so provided privacy (we didn't use the other two top floor bedrooms).

No washer/dryer; no oven mitts (removed as a covid precaution but hard to take anything out of the oven without them).

The house is great with 4 bedrooms and 3 toilets ideal for a large family or group.

Location was excellent for Rutland Water and plenty of places in Oakham to eat.

The code for the key safe didn’t get to me, fortunately the owner lived nearby. There were not enough bin bags provided and the wheelie bin smelt awful. I had to clean the outside table and chairs on arrival.

Decent quality accommodation in a great location.

Excellent location. Large bathrooms.

Few long dark hairs on bedding and bathroom floors. No iron. Usually, this wouldn't have been a problem because I rarely iron but we were attending a wedding so the iron was vital. I didn't check the amenity list because I have never stayed anywhere that didn't have one before. Luckily the fantastic local dry cleaner John Porter saved our ironing emergency. We thought that 10am check out when on holiday is a little harsh.

Great place to stay.

Our third time staying here, and we always have a comfortable, enjoyable visit. One of our favourite places. Very clean and in great condition.
