Everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Nearby to Sequoia NP entrance. Spacious living area, kitchen, dining area and all 3 bedrooms. Full kitchen amenities. Welcome bottle of wine and snacks. Laminated guide sheets. Quality bathroom soaps and gels. Good communication with host. Had downloaded Google offline maps based on feedback that only certain wireless operators had strong signals in the area. Host had provided directions but that was not needed as offline maps worked accurately.

Tipica casa americana immersa nella natura

Casa incantevole immersa nel verde con scoiattoli e uccellini che si affacciano in giardino mentre fai colazione fuori nel patio attrezzato con tavolo e barbecue. Ci hanno fatto trovare anche snack per aperitivo e vino californiano. Camere ampie e cucina dove non manca nulla. Se devo segnalare qualcosa per essere pignola servirebbe un ferro da stiro ma c'è lavatrice e asciugatrice. Consigliatissimo. Paesino carino e oltre al Sequoia fare il bagno al fiume prima del lago.

Schöne Unterkunft in der Nähe vom Sequoia NP

So stellt man sich Privatsphäre vor. Komplettes Haus zur Benützung inkl. Grill. Mark ist ein guter Gastgeber und hat uns Pläne von Umbauarbeiten im Sequoia und Empfehlungen dagelassen inkl. Wein und Knabbereien.

Wir hatten einen kleinen Skorpion im Haus.

Superb house, perfect for a family or group trip to access Sequoia and surrounds.

Very easy to access on arrival, great pre-arrival info and advice from the owner. Fantastic location for access to sequoia national park and the local bars and restaurants. lovely kitchen and terrace. good sitting room for kids to relax after long day.

Great house, spacious, nice touches with everything in kitchen, very flat so great for disabled like me. Mark super communicative with tips, resources, instructions. Too hot to eat out, had pizza and Mark's TV had Netflix. Another plus.

Great location, highly recommended

It’s a very comfortable and cosy house, best located for a one-day-trip to Sequoia NP. The house is fully equipped (kitchen, laundry facilities, propane BBQ, …). The landlord welcomes you in a very personal way with a bottle of wine and some snacks. Thank you very much, Mark. We enjoyed the stay in your house.

Quiet and peaceful spot. Lots of space in the house. Located near Sequoia National Park and only a mile from Sequoia Adventures whose rafting trip was excellent.

Nothing to dislike about the accommodation. It is a very winding road into Sequoia National Park!

The house that has everything

The house is amazing. Blue jays everywhere, it has everything in it, with instructions and info. Three bedrooms with nice comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen, with all the small things in place (even a spices rack full of herbs and seasoning). TV with netflix, porch, nice driveway, and it is 1 minute from the main road of the town. Oh, and the sofa, if I could I would take it home with me

We only had one problem with the hot water, the heater was broken unfortunately. Our host Mark had it checked, and offered us to take a shower in another unit in town (or move to it) which was fair enough. it did not seem like negligence, but only a malfunction and these things could happen, so we are pleased with the alternatives suggested

Ideal stay for National park visit.

The special welcome was much appreciated. The decorating touches were quirky yet lovely, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the sheets were heavenly! The dinner recommendations and menus were a big help. Nearby, we loved the Sequoia Coffee Co. for coffee, breakfast or lunch.

We arrived in the dark, so a motion-detecting outdoor light would have been nice.

Very nice and confortable house. Loved the blue jays everywhere !

The air conditionning was too cold in the small bedroom and no so cold in the master bedroom. But it was really very hot outside !

Brilliant Property Close to the Park.

This was a lovely clean property. Great rooms, light and airy and close to Sequoia National Park. We loved staying here. Very quiet. We would stay again. Advice by Mark before and at the property was really helpful.

Would have liked a few more utensils in the kitchen e.g. a grater but this is a minor quibble.

Home away from home

Súper comfortable, clean, and felt like home. Close to Kings Canyon National Park for great hikes and view points

If you get there at night, make sure to have gps cause the street is dark.

Blue Jay Paradise is the perfect place to stay when visiting the Sequoia National Park.

I appreciated the emails that Mark sent with detailed instructions to find the house as well as where to eat locally (all displayed on a beautifully made map). The home is VERY clean and super comfortable. So nice after being cramped in the car and tired from hiking - to come here and spread out. The kitchen appears to be well stocked to cook meals, plenty of towels, comfy beds. It's very quiet and peaceful.

We were only here for one night so our needs were minimal but I don't think there is anything else we would need that isn't here.
