About this apartment rental
Located only 25 minutes from the West entrance to Yellowstone Park, this is a great spot to be the base of all your fun. Newly built with all the essentials for your trip such as: kitchenette, living room, and bedroom upstairs. The full bathroom, and washer and dryer are downstairs on the main level. WiFi with a smart TV means you can stream your favorite movie/TV shows when not out exploring all the amazing scenery!
This loft has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and sleeps 4! The bedroom features a queen and twin bed. There's also a twin beds off to the side of the living room space. Enjoy incredible views of Island Park scenery and watch the sunset over Sawtelle mountain.
One or two dogs are welcome. The pet fee is $20 per dog per night. And we require that they never get on the furniture or beds. Even good dogs can get anxious when left alone in a new place and that is when they damage things. So your dog must be in a crate if you leave him behind in the cabin. (We do not provide the crate.)
To keep the cabin beautiful, you are responsible to pay for any damage caused by your dog. Because the extra cleaning will interfere with the cabin being ready for guests later that day, if there is damage or dog hair on the beds or furniture, then the extra cost is a minimum of $100.
You'll have access to the loft including the bathroom, washer/dryer, everything upstairs! However, the garage space below is for the owner's storage and is off limits. Occasionally, the owner may come by to grab something real quick out of the garage but it won't affect your stay.

Only 12 miles/25 minutes away from West entrance into Yellowstone National park and close to Henry's Fork on the Snake River. Also the cabin is within about 5 minutes away from a couple restaurants and a gas station/grocery store where you can get anything you may need or forgot.
There isn't any public transportation in the area so you'll need to have a car to get around. There 700+ miles of trails that you can ride motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and snowmobiles etc on. We have ATVs, UTVs, and snowmobiles available for rent if you're looking for a different way to explore the area other than in a car.
From mid-December to March you can depend on snow in Island Park. The roads are plowed well, but it would be a good idea to bring a vehicle that works well in the snow. A truck with clearance, 4WD or AWD is best.
We ask that you do a couple simple things when checking out like take your trash to dumpster next door, load and start dishwasher, wash towels and leave them drying, pull sheets off of beds that are slept in and leave them on beds. We do this to make sure the cleaning service has enough time to get the cabin ready for the next guests.

We loved how close this little apartment was to everything in island park. The two twin beds were great, but the queen bed taco’d in the middle. Which is ok, just thought I’d bring it up if that’s a problem for someone else. Jake is very accommodating and easy to communicate with! The odd thing was from the moment we walked in it smelled very intensely of Indian food. I love Indian food, but it was pretty overwhelming. I even woke up twice in the night the smell was so strong! By day 3 it had aired out most of it, but still smells weird. It felt clean, but didn’t smell clean if that makes sense. My husband is super picky about cleanliness and gave it a 6/10. Could use some better smells, a shower curtain, and a bath mat. We did love the fans and the circulation it provided. There’s no AC but with the windows open from 5 pm on, you can cool it down just fine. I’m sure this isn’t a host issue, but maybe a “cleaners,” issue that the host can try and address.

Overall I was very pleased with my stay.
I would have left a 5 star rating with the addition of a few more basic amenities like ice cube trays for filling a large water bottle for a day in the park, lamps on night stands for reading while winding down at the end of the day, an armoire for hanging clothes and some dressers would be great and a few more basics in the kitchen like a decent spice assortment. The apartment was very clean and cozy and the bed in the living room was plenty comfortable for a stay away from home.
The manager was completely awesome!!
Overall, I recommend the property!

I like the inside of the house. It was clean and it was good-sized space for the 3 of us. I like how it was close to the west entrance of Yellowstone.

Loved the quietness of the area but also being close to grocery and restaurants; however they were closed for the season when we went but we were able to find some good places to eat in West Yellowstone. Everything was good in the loft, my daughter and I had a great time!

Who wouldn’t like a little mountain therapy in the Yellowstone area? Perfect location for visiting Yellowstone. Cool loft that fits at least four comfortably. Well kept and spacious. There are many little cabins around but this fits perfectly at a fair price.

The property is nice but since they have no outdoor covered area associated with the property they don't have a BBQ. The views were nice and it was convenient for our fishing trip.

We enjoyed the property. It was just what we needed for a few days stay and basically a place to sleep and get ready each day. Our only complaint was the bed. The mattress was very uncomfortable. Need to get sa new mattress.

We booked one property, but when we arrived there was a horrible smell that gave both my nephew and I Asthma attacks. I called the property and was immediately moved to a different cabin. It was clean and comfortable and had great amenities. The staff could not have been nicer, more responsive or more accommodating. The family cabin at the Preserve was just fantastic!

My mom and I stayed here for a week while visiting Yellowstone and Jackson Hole. Perfect for us, nice to have a kitchen and washer/dryer. Property manager is easy to get ahold of if anything comes up. Location is nice and quiet. Would absolutely recommend.

TV had Netflix and plenty of stations. WiFi worked w no issues. It’s a small efficiency with 3 separate beds which worked great for us!! This is a loft over a separate stand alone garage, lockbox entry. It looks brand bee and was extremely clean! It had full size kitchen appliances & the laundry was a plus for us. The bathroom and laundry is downstairs and living room, Kitchen & bedroom upstairs. We are hoping to book again maybe for a snow vacation w snow mobiling! Absolutely no negatives in our book! Thanks for a great clean place to stay!

This property was what we were looking for. It was close enough to Yellowstone and yet away from the hustle and bustle of people.

The living quarters were located on the 2nd floor of a large barn. The bathroom/laundry is downstairs; everything else is upstairs. It is newly constructed, so it looks nice. But, the beds were terribly uncomfortable. There is only one bedroom, with a queen and a single (the other single is in the living room). So, if you are staying as 2 couples, it doesn't work very well. The owner expects the towells to be washed before you leave. This is very inconvenient if you plan to shower and then head off to the Park.

This property was what we were looking for. It was close enough to Yellowstone and yet away from the hustle and bustle of people.

The beds all need new mattresses. There were 4 Ceilings lights of which only one was working. When i asked about it i was told they all need to be touching each other to push then together. Hello its the ceiling. Then little while later one more light came on then they started to make the noise of shorting out and then they both stopped working. No other lights in main area. Sent txt to person i had been texting with but no answer. Also there was a baking pan in oven that had food still all over it had not been cleaned since last person.
