This private King suite has a wonderful Serta icomfort bed and a sofa sleeper. 4 can easily sleep here with room for 1 more guest on a comfy rolling bed. (over 2 guests, there is an added fee) This is one of 4 rooms and a large Gathering Place that we offer @ ElKen Retreat!
Your host is a Licensed Massage Therapist with his office/spa behind our home. Add this awesome upgrade to your stay(message us)! ($100/hour Added fee- pay after services; not available on Sundays)
A delicious breakfast is included, as well! Depending on the day and schedules, options include omelettes (made to orderš) or egg casserole, homemade biscuits, bacon, gravy(normally served on Saturdays); french toast & sausage (normally served on Sundays); or a continental breakfast(normally served on weekdays). If in a hurry, no worriesāweāll send you off with something yummy! šš¼ We serve breakfast in our dining room or on the back covered porch/pool deck area. If your stay is more than 3 days, weāll chat about breakfast options on days 4+. We communicate before or during your stay to accommodate our guests as much as possible!
This space was just completed in 2020... 3 large bedrooms with 3 bathrooms (walk in showers) and a large gathering space with commercial kitchen and half bath. One bedroom has a Serta icomfort (so comfy) King bed and sofa sleeper. Two bedrooms have 4 twin beds (also comfy Serta icomfort beds with high end bedding!)... All rooms have extra space to add a roll in Serta cot for another person. Also available is our King bedroom (attached to our home; separate from this space, but on same property).
Pool and hot tub are just outside your private room š Hot tub is under a covered porch. Hot tub is closed during the summer and pool may be seasonal - inquire! Hot tub is for guests 18 and older only.
Retreat for the weekend: girls trip, Bible study, scrapbook, quilt, spa, leadership retreats, business retreats.

We do have a sweet dog- Sadie, our schnauzer and 2 cutie goldendoodle puppies, Hazel and Blair- who may greet you and ātalkā occasionally..we quiet them as quickly as we can!

We stayed the weekend at this retreat for a shopping trip. We were very happy with the location and ease of checking in. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. They have really thought of everything anyone could possibly need. The room had everything to make your stay comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay at Elken Retreat. Our room was so cute with lots of added touches. All the rooms surround a beautiful swimming pool and the grounds are beautiful. Itās very close to Canton Trades Day which was a definite plus. They also provide breakfast on the weekends and that was fabulous! The hosts are so friendly and helpful. We have definitely found a keeper!!

Jason and Jennifer are amazing hosts! They are so welcoming and thought of everything. The little details made our stay extra special. We felt like we were at a friend's house during our stay. The suite was so cute and comfortable. It had a huge shower and the king sized bed gave us a wonderful night's sleep. The pool was gorgeous and we enjoyed being able to come back from a long day of shopping to relax in the pool. Breakfast was amazing both mornings and we enjoyed visiting with Jason and Jennifer as well as other guests during this time. We will definitely book again and again!

We absolutely loved this place. Jason and Jennifer are so great and very friendly. Their attention to detail was great. If you are there for a special occasion ( anniversary, etc) the little extra touches really make you feel welcomed and special(don't want to give away any of their surprises). The breakfast was really good too! I can't wait to go back!

Jennifer and Jason go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need. The pictures, though wonderfully staged, donāt do it justice. It is a beautiful little property with all the amenities one could want. And the breakfast was amazing! Such a sweet family and sweet place to stay for any type of getaway in Canton. Jason and Jennifer LOVE hosting people. Everything they do, from messaging you as soon as you book to the little welcome message outside the door of your suite when you arrive to all of the little treats left outside your door, presented on adorable cake plates, demonstrates how much they love being in the hospitality business. The room was clean and adorned perfectly. I loved the modern farmhouse decor. The bed was comfortable and we were able to get the room COLD, which is HUGELY important for my husband, who likes it at 65 all the time. Breakfast the first day was muffins and fruit, left outside our door on a lovely, wooden cake plate with glass dome. Breakfast our second day was made to order omelets, bacon, and biscuits & gravy. We got two slices of carrot cake the first night and chocolate chip cookies the second night. The hot tub was nice. My husband soaked in it, while I got the best massage I have ever had...no exaggeration!!! Jason worked me good!! He is extremely talented! Plan on getting a massage, when you say here.
Overall, 5 STARS!!! We will be back MANY more times.

We have no complaints with this adorable B&B, a Hidden Gem in Canton, Tx. The room was just as pictured, clean and well equipped with everything we might need. The owners were attentive and friendly. We will defiantly tell our friends and family about Elken Retreat. Book NOW, you won't be sorry!

We had the best weekend getaway at the ElKen Retreat!
Jennifer and Jason were the sweetest hosts, and so attentive and welcoming! The attention to detail throughout the property was absolutely perfect! We really enjoyed the list of local things to do and restaurant recommendations, this made our stay even better! To top it off, the breakfast we were served was wonderful and such a fun environment. We will absolutely be back in the future.

We stayed for First Monday Flea Market. Location was awesome. The pool was nice and the beds were so comfortable, not like your typical hard bed you get normally. I have nothing negative to say about this place.

We went for a weekend getaway for our anniversary. The hosts were very attentive and helpful with any request we had. The room was exactly as described. Bed and bedding were outstanding. The room was spotless with lots of tiny personal touches. We will definitely be back!

Much needed R&R!!
As silly as it sounds, I can typically gage a stay upon arrival after looking at the quality of toilet paper provided LOL And upon peeking, I knew this stay would not disappoint!! The hosts went above and beyond what was advertised adding in personal touches to wish my husband and I a happy anniversary. Breakfast was happily delivered to our room after expressing our wishes to just relax along with multiple inquiries checking on us and fresh baked cookies at night and an invite for sāmores! This was our first stay @ ElKen Retreat but definitely not our last!!!

Our Hosts were very easy to work with, to get directions from, and to communicate with.
Breakfast the next morning was as good as any I've ever had. Good stories, fun jokes, new friends. Will stay again at earliest opportunity.

SO Cozy!!!!!
Just the R&R my husband I needed! The room was something out of magazine, the bed was Heaven, the towels perfectly crisped, the room smelled amazing, nice cozy fire outside the room, the bathroom/shower was BOMB, and they even acknowledged my husbands birthday with several cards/signs (even one hanging on the fence outside our door). We didnāt get the opportunity to enjoy the pool, the hot tub, or the complimentary breakfast-BUT-we came for peace and comfort and thatās EXACTLY what we received here! Thank you so much Jason & Jennifer!!!! We definitely recommend Elken Retreat and will be returning for another peaceful weekend and/or the Moto races ;)

Home away from home
Jason and Jen from Elken Resort have created an oasis. Located just a mile or so from Cantonās main drag and the First Monday Flea Market, it is the perfect location for a girls getaway or reunion. They immediately welcome you into their family with amazing breakfasts and evening cookies. The rooms are beautifully appointed down to the smallest detail. I will definitely be back!

My daughter grandson and myself stayed at the Elken Retreat. It was fabulous. Jennifer and Jason welcomed us and made us so comfortable. The bed was fabulous. Drank coffee by the pool . Everything was great. Would definitely stay againā¦.

Second time to stay for First Monday Trades Day
This was our second time to stay here. Both stays were wonderfulā¦an excellent retreat after a day of shopping. Love Jennifer and Jason. They do a great job of taking care of their guests. Rooms are wonderful, food is great and love relaxing in the hot tub after a long day shopping. Will be booking again for next years girls trip!

Perfect anniversary trip
Jennifer and Jason have been spectacular hosts. Everything was clean and well kept, and there are so many extra touches. Breakfast was wonderful every morning, and we loved getting to sit on the patio in the evenings. (We adore the dogs, too.). We will definitely be back!

Cozy, charming and everything you could possibly want!
I reserved Suite 1 at Elken Retreat this past weekend to celebrate my friend's birthday. We had a king and pull out sofa. Perfect for two friends! The room was clean and cozy and had EVERYTHING you could possibly need from toiletries to entertainment. The personal touches were AMAZING. We felt so welcome and pampered. Great communication from Jennifer and Jason! We also had a YUMMY breakfast on Sunday morning and Jason accommodated my food allergy by cooking with the food I provided. My mind is already thinking of different opportunities I can book again! āŗ

Perfection!
Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. The room and property were incredibly clean. The bed was crazy comfortable. JASON and Jenifer weāre welcoming and great to chat with. Warm cookies upon arrival and breakfast waiting for us when we got up. And the pool was gorgeous, although it was a little cold for for swimming, so we enjoyed the hot tub instead. We will definitely be back.
