Very nice host and very helpful as he gives good information and tips. Breakfast was a highlight and freshly home made. It's a historical house but very clean.

Location and the owners were terrific!
Room was very small, that’s about it.
But lucky to get into last week

We enjoyed Lucia and Kevin as hosts. They were anxious to make our visit as nice as it could be. And enjoyed conversations with them and felt like we got to know them a bit. Very nice breakfasts, location up hill away from road noise and nice view of Penobscot Bay from the front porch. Close enough to town to walk if one wanted. Easy and adequate parking. Very quiet all times of day. Our visit was during a very hot period but the house is shaded and cool and the rooms have air conditioners.
We really thought that we got full value for the money. No disappointments. With B and Bs you expect the charm of someones old home. All good

Breakfast was delicious. Hosts were very friendly and kind. Bed was a little wobbly, but not uncomfortable. Loved a bath in the claw foot tub.

The hosts, Lucia and Kevin are exceptionally accommodating and welcoming. The property is beautiful, an 1800’s sea captain’s home which has been tastefully and very comfortably decorated to authentically represent the time it was built. Breakfasts are imaginative and delicious, alternating savory and sweet: apple pancakes! mushroom and ham quiche! cinnamon popovers! Weather permitting, breakfast is served on a beautiful veranda overlooking the sea if not, in the elegant dining room. There are ample books to choose from, and coffee and tea are always available.
The beds are especially comfy.
We stayed 4 nights and thought it was perfection. No complaints at all.

Beautiful inn with lovely furnishings and art.
No drinking cups in bathroom. Also, with the claw tub a little difficult for my husband to get into. Perhaps having a stool by the tub would be help.

The property is like you stepped into Williamsburg. Beautiful home and view from the porch is perfect. Kevin and Lucia are wonderful hosts and provided us wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and must see attractions in the area! Breakfast was wonderful, tribute to the first day of fall!
The bathroom was very cramped but did not even care since the room and house were so nice!

Kevin and Lucia are excellent host. Timbercliffe is a charming old cottage with antique furniture. The room we stayed in was roomy, although bed was creaky but comfortable. Bathroom was tiny but in the room. Breakfast were excellent. Lucia was particularly helpful in directing guess on options of where to go and what to do. It was a lovely time at Timbercliffe.
The bed was creaky and bathroom smaller than anticipated in my room.
