Real nice feel to the whole stay.

Very old pub with a modern feel. The rooms are excellent and very tastefully decorated. Dinner was lovely. Breakfast made with quality ingredients.

Amazing place, rooms very clean, staff great and food very good, our third visit, this time with our parents and we will return again.

Perfect pet friendly place for a weekend getaway

Friendly staff, excellent food and service. Room was very comfortable and clean and the shower in the en-suite was great.

Parking very limited so had to move our car multiple times during our stay to avoid charges.

Perfect in every way

Staff were so friendly & the Chef was so polite even come out to speak to us & give our fur baby a sausage . We ate here for breakfast & tea . Food was outstanding. The staff can't do enough for you. Our room was amazing . Only downfall room was really hot 🔥 🥵 through the night . My husband arranged with the staff for flowers & wine to be in the room when we arrived . That's was really nice. The walk to devil's Bridge was amazing & our fur baby had the best time ever.

Perfect location for walkers and others visiting the area

Lovely rooms, small but clean, modern and comfortable. Location perfect and Kirkby lovely as always xx Breakfast and food was brilliant and staff work so hard always smiling and can't do enough. Would return x

Lovely stay

We liked every single thing about our stay at the Red Dragon. Trisha was an excellent host. Every room absolutely clean and warm (despite it snowing) Immaculate toilets. We sat near the log fire 🔥 having lunch and drinks. So comfortable we didn't want to move. The food was so tasty and well presented. After a wander around outside for a few hours we were straight back to the Red Dragon as the whole place was so inviting. Following a fantastic sleep we had breakfast. I can honestly say it was the best one ever with the most tasty bacon I have eaten. Thanks again to Trisha.

I would stay again but not in the same room

It was in a very good location and the rooms were clean. Staff were so friendly

The room we had was so warm and we had the window open but was very noisy.

Brilliant location and high quality of rooms and decor

Decor and quality of the bar area and the rooms. Lady who served us breakfast was amazing, freindly and engagaing.

No parking on site. Sadly the Manager was a bit surly and didn't even speak as we were at breakfast?

A great value stay in a lovely room with great staff and food.

Very nice decor, everywhere was very clean, staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was fantastic.

Bed wasn’t the comfiest we’ve ever slept on.

Superb

The outside area at the back was very unloved. Dirty ashtrays, cigarette butt's and very overgrown. With a bit of TLC ths would be greatly improved.

Everything was good and i’d highly recommend it.

I really could not fault anything. it s basically a pub with rooms….a very nice pub with really nice rooms. The staff were brilliant- helpful, cheerful and it seemed nothing was too much trouble. This was particularly true of the staff at breakfast :-)

There was nothing i didn’t like. 😀

Definitely returning to this great Inn and lovely village

Great bar!! Great location in village centre. The room was small but beautifully presented, comfy bed, lovely furniture, great shower. Staff very friendly. Wonderful breakfast.

Car parking! We mistakingly parked in the village central carpark costing us £20…a lot for one night stay. There is free parking a little further from the village where we will be sure to go next time!
