Excellent location. Flat clean light and airy but space limitations needed flagging up. Recommended for people who are touring .
Wooden spiral stairs up to bedroom rather nerve-racking to navigate for older people especially going down at night. We are 70 plus and it made us nervous. It would be useful to flag this in the description. Light system confusing...needs better signing. We left the outside light on all the days inadvertently. Only told by another resident this has happened. No mirror in the bedroom and no wastebasket either. No cooker hood so cooking smells can spread upstairs. Sitting room space very minimal. Wouldn't rebook this property as no space for hanging out any wet swimming costumes or walking clothes and wet boots out to dry. Only one fairly small mid size towel supplied. Why not an extra hand towel each.

The location of the property was very good, not far from the train station, shops, restaurants, bus station, harbour. Everything was in walking distance.

really enjoyed my stay. was very quiet and perfect location.

The location is amazing. Set on a very quiet street with a number of lovely independent shops and restaurants.
It was good to have the whole property to ourselves. The kitchenette was a lifesaver, which was well equipped with all you'd need, as we struggled to find anywhere to eat on an evening and resorted to cooking for ourselves. When we spoke to locals in a cafe about our struggles to find somewhere for an evening meal they said 'It's Cornwall, what do you expect?'
As per the name, the Sea View did not disappoint on views.
This is constructive criticism as, with a few tweaks, Sea View could be much better.
We stayed during the recent heatwave and though the weather was out of everyone's control, there was no fan in the property. This coupled with only one side of the windows being openable (as the front windows were nailed shut) meant there was no airflow in the property at all. Sleeping was almost impossible due to the temperature in the accommodation.
The curtains were so thin, they didn't block out any light at all.
For 2 people for 4 nights, there were just 3 towels (2 tiny shower towels and 1 hand towel). This is not enough.
The stairs from the front door are very steep and the spiral staircase to the bedroom is precarious, so not suitable for anybody with mobility issues.
We couldn't get the shower to work on our first night. Tried calling the caretaker's number listed in the info folder but there was no answer so I left a message. No response until the next morning. Luckily, by then, we'd managed to find the mains switch in the kitchen area, unlabelled at the bottom of a wall behind the ironing board, vacuum and bin.
The shower room is very compact and the toilet is so close to the wall there is barely any room for your legs, so you have to sit on an angle.
Due to the number of negatives encountered we felt the property was very expensive.

Good location, close to main shopping street, pubs, etc. View of harbour. Quiet at night, despite centraI location. Short walk to sea front and lido.Comfortable bed.
Spiral staircase to upper floor. Bathroom on lower floor. Larger towels and more of them would have been nice. TV was very small.

Exceptionally cute accommodation located right in the heart of Penzance with easy access to a small private courtyard.
