About this house rental

17 E Street is located on the east side of A1A Beach Blvd. here in the heart of St. Augustine Beach, and our home is just five lots off the beach. The upstairs unit is accessed through the private front entry.
Upstairs has a large open living room with a 43" flat screen TV and fold out queen size sofa bed. Off the living room is the private deck, and the perfect shady spot for lunch after a morning on the beach.
The fully stocked, large kitchen is great for preparing and cooking meals.
The master suite has new king size bed with all new linens, as well as a 43" flat screen TV. The full bathroom has a large walk in shower and oversized closet.
We have high speed internet and cable television, so E Street is great for travelers that want to relax, but might still need to work. Our rental is perfect for families looking to come and enjoy St. Augustine.
The secure garage is shared space with the downstairs unit and works great for guests traveling with bikes and other gear. We also have plenty of beach chairs for our guests. As well as beach wagons to help you get everything to and from the beach each day.
Also, it is possible to rent both units at E Street if you need to accommodate more guests. Please let me know if this is ideal and we can coordinate dates.

The place was perfect for our stay with our pup. We walked to get coffee every morning and it was just down the street from the beach entrance....very convenient. The space was very open and large for a 1/1.5. Host was super responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

This property is clean and inviting. We stayed upstairs and it was a very roomy 1 bedroom with a large fully equipped kitchen, laundry area, 2 bathrooms and our own deck. We were in town on a difficult mission to help out an elderly aunt and the rental was just the escape we needed. Clean and relaxing. Morgan, the property manager could not have been nicer or more responsive. A great place! Our only negative was it’s right on A1A and our dog got out. It could have been a disaster. The place being pet friendly was really great, though, and there were no traces that pets were allowed. Only a few houses away from a beautiful beach. Excellent place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, almost five weeks long. Literally everything was easy and hassle free. The host welcomed us the first day and after that was immediately responsive to our questions and a special request. The upper level of this house felt spacious and struck the right balance of chic/beachy. The deck was bright and breezy and even tho busy rtA1A is right there, it was fun to be up above the walkers and any traffic (mostly cars) with a beverage in hand. The kitchen and laundry had everything you would need to function as you would at home. There were plenty of towels and linens are provided. The large downstairs hallway was great for leaving luggage, jackets and sandy shoes. The road dead-ends at the beach access- only five houses down the street. The beach is gorgeous and starts with a wide swathe of dunes then a wide soft, white sand to the shore. It’s only five miles to historic area so we visited several times to tour, eat or just stroll. We loved it. As for eating, our standouts were Columbia, MoJo BBQ and Funkedelic Food Truck. There were plenty of places to hike as well, all less than 15 miles from E St. Location. (Moses Creek, Washington Oaks, Anastasia State Park) This place really checked all the boxes, from the nice accommodations to the general area and the multitude of things it had to offer. We plan to visit a new place every year, but if we were to make a repeat visit, this would be the place. Highly recommended.

This property was perfect for our getaway! It was five days of all the comforts of home with a laid back beach lifestyle. The beach is just at the end of the street for easy access anytime day or night. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance and downtown St. Augustine is just a short drive away. Morgan was fabulous to work with and was very welcoming and responsive. Truly a great place and looking forward to staying here again!

Property was great. Well equipped kitchen. Beach a very short walk away and dogs are welcome pretty much everywhere. Can also drive onto beach for a small fee which makes lugging all the beach gear so easy!

Such a beautiful property. Morgan was extremely communicative. It's walking distance to the beach, and shops. It was nice for my husband and I. We will be coming again, next time with the kids. It is a one bedroom unit but the bedroom is huge and will fit an inflatable bed for little ones. We were super happy!!!! Best anniversary trip ever.

This was a great place to stay. The location was walking distance to beach and quick car ride to downtown. Several walking distance restaurants. There were plenty of pots, dishes, utensils to cook if we wanted to but we didn't. We had use of bicycles which we loved. Plenty of beach equipment but we had our own. It was a nice clean place to stay.

This one bedroom upper rental was perfect for my husband, my dog, and me. We loved the location, the access to the beach, the spaciousness of the apartment, and the balcony deck. It was a very easy check-in process and stay.

Everything was as we had expected. The road noise our first week there was the only negative but it was during bike week at Daytona. After that week it was much better. It was clean and very comfortable with plenty of space to feel like home! Morgan is a great property manager and always available for questions or concerns. Would definitely come back.

Best vacation rental experience EVER!

The property owners are extremely kind, helpful, and so welcoming. We appreciated being able to bring our dogs along with us, and the fact that it was SO clean and comfortable (we love our dogs but we love to keep it clean) made it so much more enjoyable! The home had everything we needed, including just enough necessities to get us through our stay (toiletries, detergent, etc). I have stayed in many vacation rentals and this was by far the BEST. I have my fingers crossed that we will get to enjoy this lovely place again in the future!

Great rental on St. Augustine Beach

My husband and two dogs and I stayed here for a month March-April and had a wonderful time. This was our first time staying at this rental and we were very happy with its features. Its a short walk to the beach and we appreciated the beach stuff provided. the second floor rental was very spacious for us to spread out our projects for the month. The kitchen was well stocked and comfortable for the meal prep that we enjoy. The bedroom, baths, and closet were also quite spacious -the walk in closet was huge and made it possible to keep our belonging somewhat organized. Loved having the downstairs hallway closet for our outdoor stuff and the garage for bigger things. Two nice bikes were available which we shared with the downstairs rental. Just fyi -they are beach cruisers which means they have the foot brakes instead of hand brakes. And last but not least, Morgan was fabulous as always - easy to contact, responds right away, and fixes any problem with great kindness. He is an incredible host. We reserved Barney again for 2023.

Wonderful property with the beach at the end of the block. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. The house was generously stocked with all supplies such as toilet tissue and dishwasher soap. There was a washer and dryer in the unit that came in handy during our stay, and laundry soap and dryer sheets were generously provided. The shower was HUGE and two shower heads were nice! Morgan was an amazing host - very helpful and friendly. He was easy to contact and responded quickly to all correspondence. I highly recommend this property. If we return to St. Augustine, we will stay here again if it is available.

EVERYTHING about this rental was perfect! I have stayed in a lot of VRBO rentals, but this is my first review. The house was perfect, the amenities were perfect, spotless clean, amazing neighborhood and I could go on and on however, I was most impressed with Morgan! He is the perfect manager! He was friendly, personable, reliable, easy to contact, quick to respond and most importantly, dependable! I would give him a 10 out of 10 if I could......wonderful experience!!!

The distance to historic St. Augustine was a quick car ride. The distance to a pristine and spectacular beach was 5 driveways! The home is just ideal for a couple, plenty of space and amenities. The layout makes it feel spacious and luxurious at the same time as being quaint.

We loved our stay at this rental! The location of the property is great! It's in walking distance to the beach and several local restaurants. The unit was fully equipped and had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation experience, from pots and pans to beach carts and bikes. The unit is very comfortable and clean. Morgan, the property manager, was very nice and helpful. He warmly greeted us as we checked in and provided information about the unit as well as the area, local restaurants, and surfing spots. Throughout our stay he was very helpful. One of our fondest memories of our vacation is sitting on the upper covered porch on rainy afternoons listening to music, and people watching among the palms. We totally enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to staying there again! Loved the unit and high recommend it!!

We loved our stay at Barney! The property is close to the beach and has everything you need for a day at the beach - cooler, wagon, chairs, umbrella, towels. The kitchen was well-stocked, as well. We ate most of our meals in, but had wonderful meals at the Floridian and Osprey Tacos, and ice cream at Coneheads! We did encounter some bugs, but Morgan was very responsive when informed. We would absolutely stay here again! Loved it and highly recommend it.

Everything about this property was amazing! My husband and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary, and were very happy with our stay. The property manager met us at time of arrival and was so helpful and polite. The property was very clean and more spacious than it looks in the pictures. Just a short walk to the beach and close to several good restaurants. We will definitely book again!

Barney is well maintained and well equipped. Morgan is helpful and responsive if anything is needed or there are questions. The unit is light-filled and airy with comfortable furniture. It really is just steps to the beach, no roads to cross, just a stroll to the end of the street. Great place to relax and recharge.

Barney is a lovely place. Very clean with all the amenities you need. There were bikes and beach chairs available and host left some snacks for us upon arrival which was very thoughtful.
