Wonderful vacation! Our overall stay was fantastic! There were 15 of us and room for many more. Walking through the front door we were totally amazed at how spacious this house was. The game room was well used. The hot tub on the back porch and the swimming pool within walking distance were a nice added feature. The beach was only about a mile away, and there was a variety of restaurants and shops close by. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was very big and roomy for everyone to have their own space. The house was not very clean. And the 1 air conditioner was not working properly. Overall we had a good time and the house was very close to the pool.

This house was laid out perfect for our family with bedrooms in upper and lower corners of the house giving all guests privacy. The house absolutely needs a more thorough cleaning. Also we had an eighteen month old in our group and their was no high chair or pack and play or anything really needed for a baby. Loved the two refrigerators. We used one for sodas and waters and the other for foods. Overall well pleased other than the cleanliness.

We were very lucky to score this rental for the 4th of July week and highly recommend it. For one thing, you absolutely can't beat the location and amenities, being so close to the pool, easy transport to the beach (where parking can be a nightmare,) the grocery store, a pizza place, and ice cream. As for the house itself, there is PLENTY of space and furnishings for a large group - probably way more than we needed for 5 people and a dog, but we all like our privacy! It's not brand new, so there are signs of wear and tear, but overall it was clean. Note that Sunday evening and Monday are the busiest days of the week at the Harris Teeter, so you may want to bring provisions to get you through that time before having to go shopping - especially things like TP, paper towels, soap, etc. For us, there were limited quantities of those things in the house already, but if we had shown up with a large group it definitely wouldn't have been enough. We did brave the Harris Teeter Sunday (and even ordered a birthday cake for the next day,) so it can be done! Also worth mentioning is the garage, which is available for parking 2 cars, and you get access through the MyQ app. That's also where you find beach chairs, etc. All in all we had a great week.

This a very unique house, with unusual architecture. The house seems to be very well maintained, and stocked, especially the kitchen and beach supplies. It is a great neighborhood, and the pool, playground and Harris Teeter are all right across the street.
Jennifer is a very responsive host, that will fix whatever may come up. The shuttle comes right by the driveway, headed for the beach.
Our party was my wife and I, along with our grown children, spouses, and very young grandchildren. The house is big enough to all be together but also offer some separation. With the small grandchildren, eating meals at restaurants can be a little hectic and stressful, so we ate in the house most meals. The kitchen is well equipped.
This was our 2nd stay and we will be back next year.

My family and I rented this property for a week in June. We could walk to the Club pool, took the trolley to the beach and back, signed up for activities at the pool such as karaoke, enjoyed the hot tub at the house everyday, and had all the space we needed! The house was clean and perfect. TVs in every room in case you need that for multiple viewers/programs. The pool table downstairs was fun and there was lots of seating for dining all together. We arrived early to avoid check in traffic and went to the Harris Teeter which is walking distance from this property. We left at the 9 am checkout time and the traffic leaving, was so bad, we stopped in Duck for breakfast to let it go by. The Currituck Beach Lighthouse and Historic village of Corolla, was just a few miles away. The trolley was an enjoyable ride to the beach. The property manager answered all questions I had, in a timely manner and in as nice. Highly recommend!!!

We had a group of two families of four, and one family of five. The room configuration worked out great since the kids were all friends. It was great having 3 king beds for parents, too.
The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes for everyone. There are also 2 refrigerators which was great for keeping adult beverages that could be otherwise confused for lemonade or whatever, separated.
Initially, I was concerned about having no pool, but the community pool is so close and convenient, and the snack bar at the pool was a nice to have as well. Our favorite amenity was the beach trolley! It couldn’t have been more convenient, and having a life guard on site at the beach was a big comfort—especially because one of my littles isn’t a strong swimmer.
We don’t play golf, but if we did, you couldn’t ask for a better location. Overall, great location! Walk to ice cream, pizza, and the grocery store.
Finally, our host was the most! She was super responsive and extremely helpful from the time we booked all the way through check out.

The house is very spacious and perfect for the big, extended family. Well stocked with everything listed, and Harris Teeter very close by. The beach trolley is very convenient, and the pool is right there.
Jennifer was very responsive with the few small issues or questions.
Highly recommended and we will be back.

Excellent location and amenities. Owner very responsive. A book with instructions on trash, wristbands, gates, a map of resort, etc would be nice to have instead of having to message the owner throughout the vacation.

My party had a small snafu when checking in, but it was solved in 20 minutes by calling the property owner and getting an alternative. Other than that, everything perfect and seamless. Beautiful property, beautiful community, right next to a Harris Teeters for any incidentals needed. Phenomenal location. If you’re looking for a perfect location for a family retreat to play games and go beach driving, this is your spot!

This is my family's second time staying at this property. My only complaint is that we could not get the grill to work on the back deck, and for some reason, the front deck stays wet. It was like this the last time we visited also. Also, I'm not sure when the previous guests left, but all the trash containers were full, as was the dishwasher. We needed to figure out what to do with our trash. The dishwasher was also full upon our arrival.
Overall, this is a great property, and I would recommend it.

Highly impressive property. Very well stocked and great location. We were impressed with the cleanliness. We have rented 2 other properties in the area and they were not cleaned at all. The owner was very helpful and made the process easy. Lots of space and would stay again!

We have rented this property twice now and love it. The central location is perfect. Walking distance to just about everything. Short drive to the beach as well. Very spacious interior with large open spaces. Well equipped kitchen. Quiet neighborhood.

After having had to make a last minute change to our original week in the OBX, we were fortunate to find this house. The size was perfect for our group. We often struggle to find a kitchen and living space conducive to all of us eating and spending time together and this house made that easy. The host was super accommodating, very flexible and extremely responsive. Staying here made our trip to our favorite beach destination all that much better.

Great stay with a post-Labor Day consideration
We enjoyed our stay, and it met or exceeded our expectations on the critical items to us. Some pros and cons that could be helpful in deciding or adjusting expectations:
Pros:
- Location. I didn’t expect this to be such a HUGE pro, but it was. The house is a super short walk to one of the Currituck Club pools, pickleball, etc. It’s also a short stroll to Harris Teeter and a couple restaurants (including the excellent Urban Kitchen). I was initially concerned that this “hub” location would mean a lot of noise, but it was quiet.
- Air conditioning is excellent
- Very comfortable mattresses/tops, noting they're on the softer side.
- Plenty of TVs and Rokus
- Sofa in upstairs family room exceeded expectations – comfy and clean, with fresh throws.
- Showers & soaking tub had plenty of hot water.
- Kitchen was nicely equipped. Laundry machines worked well.
- Hot tub in good working order.
Cons:
- A ‘bare’ vibe. Some rooms had personality like the horse themed Master upstairs, but others had an empty feeling. The family room had almost nothing on the walls and no table lamps (though there were dimmable overheads). However, I understand the practicality in minimizing breakage. As a heads up, there are no starter supplies (not even one roll of TP or a bar of soap). This is the first VRBO we encountered without a couple basic essentials.
- Two specific cleanliness issues. In general the property was clean, and the cleaner did a good job with the bathrooms and kitchen. But the carpets needed a deep shampooing. They were in decent shape and don’t need replacing, but I couldn’t walk around barefoot without my feet getting grimy. Additionally, there were mildew issues in a few spots, most likely caused by humidity (I realize this can be common in beach homes).
- Picnic table on back deck was warped to the point that it is unusable and must be replaced.
- The beach Trolley Service amenity was listed in description without any asterisk regarding dates. I booked presuming it would be available during my stay (only one week after Labor Day week), but soon after discovered that the service ended on Labor Day. I should have double checked, as it makes sense this wouldn’t be available year round; however, I made presumed it was included given it was still just mid Sept., given what we paid, and given the property's price dropped dramatically for the week after our booking. It would be helpful to list dates of Trolley availability.

Beautiful home and great location
Beautiful home with quick access to pool, shopping, and the beach. Great neighborhood for walking. Owner was very responsive. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes and cookware. Downfall was that the home had not been cleaned properly. There were "tumbleweeds" of dog hair all over the house, floors had not been mopped or vacuumed, dried up glob of dried up soap or lotion on the bathroom floor, showers smelled of bleach, but had pink and black mold on the walls. Spiderweb all over the house. Sheets for double bunk were twin size and didn't fit. Oven was completely covered with food/oil. Whoever cleans the home doesn't do a thorough job especially for the price you are paying and charging the renter on a weekly basis.

Nice big family vacation house
Overall we had a great time (family group of 9 including 2 teens, plus 1 dog.) We were attracted to the house because of the amount of space to for everyone to spread out, with 6 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths which worked out well. The living room is particularly large and the kitchen well stocked. The location in the Currituck club near to pool, tennis, gym was great, and the beach is less than 10 minutes away.
The only potential major area of improvement is the overall cleanliness... the house could really use a deep clean and probably should have all the carpeting replaced. There were a few too many bugs, although to some extent that is to be expected in the area. The outside decks were in even more need of attention, and the owner had the house power washed mid way through our stay, which was much appreciated.

Nice Large House for Family Vacation

Family Relax Time in OBX
The house was very nice and spaceous. It is in a great location to see the golf club and golfers and within walking distance to many shops, pool and fitness center. The kitchen was well equipped. Two refrigerators, hot tub, full size washer and dryer and TVs in each bedroom made the stay that much nicer. We had a very rekaxing and enjoyable stay.

Cute Getaway
It was so nice! It is right across from the community pool and playground, and only a few minutes walk to the Harris Teeter. You can also take the trolly down to the beach and there are people who will valet your items for you! If you wish to rent a golf cart there is parking available for that.
The house is really big! The living area upstairs is big enough for everyone! The rooms were huge! Expecally the 3 kings.
Jennifer was really good talking to us in a timely manner about anything we had concerns with.
The only issues we saw was that the cleaning crew didn't do the showers/bathrooms too well, and the hot tub is in a weird spot to get to.
Other than that we really injoyed our stay!

Family reunion
We had a tremendous vacation in the OBX last week! The location of the house is excellent - just a short work to stores, 3 minute walk to pool, trolley stop close and the community is safe and has sidewalks for walking/running. The house had games, tennis rackets, new beach chairs and two beach canopies for us to use. We had a range of ages from 6 mos to 72 and all had a great time.

Perfect size for multi-family vacation
The house has a great layout for families to spread out when they want to, but also come together for meals and games too. The owner was very responsive to any need we had while we were there. The trolley service and valet service down at the beach access made our beach days that much more enjoyable!

Great place for Thanksgiving
We chose AHole New World for the great room. The 3 separate dining tables allowed the 4 generations of our family to be together while maintaining social distance. There was a small issue which Jennifer quickly resolved for us. A great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay at ‘A Whole New World’. The home is spacious, giving everyone room to spread out, and has a well-stocked kitchen with all of the pots/pans/dishes/etc. that you will need. If you must work while on vacation, this home has good wi-fi to support that. Jennifer was quick to respond and answer our questions as they arose.

Happy accident! Nice find!
I'd been looking, looking, looking for a pet friendly property in Corolla for several weeks prior to our September booking without much luck. About ready to give up, when I was delighted to find "A Hole in One." Liked that it was a Sunday to Sunday rental. Less traffic in at out of Corolla that way. The place is spacious; I liked the layout very much, which would easily accommodate more people/families. Private, yet together space. Has a nice view of the 9th hole in the Currituck Club, which offers much to guests. Weather was not beach perfect for our stay, but enjoyed the beach daily, and daily soaks in the home's private hot tub. Plenty to do in the house too, and Jennifer Lynch was very responsive and helpful with any questions we may have had about the house.
