We rented this home for our family thanksgiving. We drove from Lauderdale-By-The-Sea FL. 750 miles. We Had a wonderful time with our daughter and her family. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the pots, pans, etc that we needed to cook Thanksgiving Dinner! We loved that it was very spacious. Everyone enjoyed the pin ball machine and pool table! Lots of memories were made. The beds were very comfortable. On the downside, it could definitely use new furnishings and decor as well as the outside furniture, (dirty)

I rented this cabin for a girls weekend and it was almost perfect. I highly recommend renting this cabin! The pictures listed do not do this cabin justice. I had to knock off one star due to minor issues. The door in the sunroom that goes out to the hot tub didn’t lock properly, so that was a little worrisome. The fan in the downstairs bathroom didn’t work (not really a big deal). Lastly, the lights in the hot tub didn’t work either. But don’t let that discourage you from renting this cabin. I will definitely be renting again for our annual girls trip!!

This property looks great in pictures. We paid 788 dollars in fees including hot tub fee and cleaning fee. Of course a booking fee as expected. First issue was my daughter fell twice in front of the hot tub due to moss and mold build up. Maintenance came out and power washed in front of tub. As far as the rest of the wrap around deck…it was disgusting. Black and purple mold in a 5x5 section that you had to go in the door and out another just to avoid that section of the deck. It to mention every renters food spills all over the deck. Mold in showers and you should wear shoes in the house. If not your feet will be black by the end of the day. We paid 2100 dollars for 7 days. They claim to be a professional company with professional cleaning company but with the condition of this place I’d beg to differ. I’m not sure if the owner knows the condition of his house but I’d change managing companies. There were enough plates and silverware for a party of 100 but no place to put your groceries. We were going to take this place for 6 weeks paying a total of 9306.00 and they were also unwilling to negotiate some of the fees. The hot tub took 24 hours to heat up to 99 degrees. It was 66 degrees when we checked in. So if you plan on only a 2 day stay expect not to use it the first night and also pay a huge hot tub fee. We called and told them about this and was in no way compensated except the power wash in front of tub and a bulb change for an out light on the deck. Very disappointed and will never use vacasa again. It’s a shame because we have 6 weeks of repairs on our home in the area and we would have stayed but they lost our 9k!!! Of your looking for a proper rental that clean and inviting use Cuddle up cabin rentals for your next stay!

Four senior women getting away for a few days. The cabin itself is really nice and spacious. But there were a number of things that need attention. The road leading up to the cabin has a jack knife turn which is very difficult to maneuver, even dangerous, but no mention of this in listing. I wrote to ask if the fireplace was gas, and was told I needed to bring firewood, so I bought wood. There is a gas fireplace, so I was given incorrect info. Two of the bedrooms did not have blankets, just the bedspread. The kitchen was very disorganized; couldn't find a toaster, and most of the dishes were chipped. The fry pans were old, and one was scratched and rusted. Had to go out and buy batteries for the TV remotes. The shower in the loft room did not have hot water. Although we had a good time, if the things that could be fixed had been, and if the road and gas fireplace were mentioned in listing, we would of had a better stay. It wouldn't take much to make this cabin a desirable place to stay.

We enjoyed the wraparound porch with a beautiful view from every angle. The hot tub and gas fireplace were some of the highlights for us. There were plenty of bedrooms for our family and private spaces. It is an easy distance to Blue Ridge, the Mercier Orchard, beautiful hiking trails, etc. We would stay here again!

Overall great but not a 4 bedroom
Overall great stay. Cabin was well equipped location was great and the views were amazing.
The cabin in my opinion is NOT 4 bedrooms but is actually 3 bedrooms with a loaf. The loaf is open air open entrance. With out privacy and created some issues for us.

Lovely home!
We enjoyed our stay and was perfect for our family and grandchildren. The home was well decorated for the Christmas holidays. We made a lot of fantastic memories. There are a few things you could do to make it the best. If you like a very firm mattress then this home is for you. The refrigerator needs to be able to handle keeping your food cold as soon as it is stocked not twelve hours later. A little extra cleaning, paying attention to details, like, spider webs in corners and closets. We would stay here again.

MAGICAL MOUNTAIN GETAWAY
Getting here was very smooth and easy, the property is located just off the highway and close to shopping for your stay. The pictures do not do this cabin justice. The rooms are vary spacious and the house felt like it just kept going. The wrap-around porch really made taking in the mountain scenery easy. The outdoor hot tub was fantastic and very relaxing. From the pool table to pinball machine to the open layout the fun was endless for our group. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed to cook. The driveway is very steep as mentioned in other reviews but nothing to worry about we made it with ease in a Kia Forte. I would definitely love to stay here again, the staff was very responsive and quickly resolved the lone issue we had with our stay.

Perfect place for a Friend Group Reunion
This cabin was amazing. We had 8 adults, 1 infant, 2 dogs and still has plenty of space. Everyone had their own bedroom/bathroom, which was a huge bonus for us! We spent a lot of time on the porch, watching the sun rise with such a beautiful view. We even got to spend some time in the hot tub and had a mini pool tournament. I loved how close this cabin was to downtown blue ridge, and we even hiked a trail close to the chimpanzee sanctuary (a must do). The driveway was a bit scary, but everyone’s vehicles did just fine. I would suggest to repair the concrete entry way of the road that turns into the driveway. We did have to maneuver around the cracked and eroded corner. But other than that, all was nice, quiet, clean, and super private.

Great place
Place was great, worked well for us. Only thing I will mention is one of the bedrooms doesn't have a full wall, etc. its a loft, I didn't realize that. may have been my fault. Then another room was very small. But other than that, it was fine! Just wanted to give a heads up for moms with children in case you planned the rooms for your kids to not hear noises once they went to sleep, etc. We had a great time overall!

This property was exactly what we needed. Even lots of outdoor space for our little dogs. It did list fishing within a short walk, we never found it. Check in and out was super easy! Would recommend and stay again!

Wonderful Getaway!
My husband and I found this gem in order to celebrate my birthday and 5 years cancer free. The house was amazing! It was just the two of us, but so much room and relaxing. We were in the hot tub every morning before going for hikes and back in it at night. So much to do even if you never even ventured past the hot tub. We played pool, games, the pinball machine, made breakfast and dinner each night and sometimes just sat on the porch and looked at the mountains. I have to say this was one of the highlights of my entire year. We will definitely be back with more family! We were ready to rebook it for Thanksgiving, but needless to say someone beat us to it. Thank you for a lovely 4 nights!

Great place and location
The rental process and checking in and out was easy and great. The house is great, perfect for a big group who was to spend time together or have some privacy. The location is very convenient too. My only suggestion would be the need for a new carpet or steamed carpet, and changing/washing the mats in the house and cushions in the outside furniture to be able to enjoy the beautiful porche and view. Thanks for the new towels. Thanks for a great time.

More than the listing shows
Pictures alone do not do justice to this property. We were blown away by the layout of this cabin. Even though we are a family of five, we could see how a larger group would really enjoy staying here. The breezeway between the two living spaces is so inviting.
Coffee on the deck, watching the mountain in the distance grow, was our every morning!
