Отличное расположение - самый центр. Через дорогу - музей Сталина, его дом и вагон, а также небольшой приятный парк с фонтанами. Вид из окна - на парк и дорогу. Шикарный завтрак за 30 лари - все свежайшее, вкуснейшее и очень хороший официант. Красивый, аккуратный отель. Мы останавливались на одну ночь, поэтому оценка достаточно поверхностная. А в отеле есть ещё и бассейн (но мы его не видели.

Дверца в ванную не закрывалась.

Unstable Wi-Fi but perfect otherwise!

The hotel is bang in the centre of Gori, the bed was very comfortable, the shower space is quite big, staff was nice and everything was clean!

Nur etwas für eingefleischte UDSSR-Fans.

Die zentrale Lage ist leider der einzige Pluspunkt.

Gori ist die Geburtsstadt des hinlänglich bekannten georgisch-sowjetischen Massenmörders Stalin. Dass dessen Geist nicht nur im heutigen Russland munterer denn je herumspukt, ist offenkundig und auch in Gori scheint dieser Wiedergänger noch aktiv zu sei. In diesem Lichte besehen ist das Hotel "Georgia Gold" ein Muss für alle Sowjet-Nostalgiker: Das Personal strömt eine Freundlichkeit aus, die symptomatisch ist für den berühmten sowjetischen Charme vergangener Tage. Auf Fragen jedweder Art erhielten wir stets dieselbe Phrase zur Antwort, dass der Aufzug auf der linken Seite sein. Papageien und ihr Zitierverhalten lassen grüßen... Das Frühstück war nicht minder UDSSR-konform.

OK hotel in central Gori - manage your expectations

Central location and free parking. Clean. Staff friendly and helpful.

Noisy no black out curtains. Room fixtures needed repair. Hole in wall in our room bathroom tap barely worked and shower leaked badly.

Perfect location in Gori

Perfect location in the centre of Gori. Comfortable room with a new TV and good wifi. Helpful receptionist.

AC was not working in our first room so we had to change to a different room. Expensive breakfast.

Great location

They had a safe place to store our bicycle. The shower was warm, the bed comfortable, the air conditioning worked, it was quite, it was right down town, it had a swimming pool.

Serve Breakfast at 7:00 AM. For us traveling 9:00 is too late.

modern hotel close to the centre and a 2minute walk to the Stalin museum staff both at reception and the bar were very helpful the room was clean and modern shower was excellent

Better to choose an other option for this town.

Location is good, rooms are clean and nice.

Stuff is not speaking well English and they cannot give any advice what to do or what to see in the town.

Probably, the only good thing I can say about this hotes is its location. Breakfast is ok.

Everything else doesn't stands up to four stars by any means. First of all check in time is hour later that stated at the booking page. When we arrived in time, we've been politely ask to wait for another hour. When I told a receptionist that it has to be a mistake, he answered me that they "forgot" to change it in the description. I had to insist on checking in. Then, when we settled in our "lux" we found out that the minibar is empty (like, completely) and there isn't even tea bags nor shugar provided (although, there was a kettle in the room). One of two windows in the rooms wasn't closing properly, and since the hotel facing busy street it's always noisy, like you sleeping in the middle of the street. Finally, the only reason we've picked this hotel in the first place - a swimming pool... That was the biggest disappointment. First of all - it is only available to guests for only a couple of hours early in the morning and evening. Personnel doesn't speak English, which is kinda weird for a four star hotel, but ok... But the biggest let down was that... we've been asked to wear a swimming caps... in the hotel pool... How many people bring their swimming caps with them while traveling?? So ofcourse, we had to turn back and return in our room, completely dry :) Unfortunately, can't recommend this place to anyone.

The hotel brochure says that the pool starts working at 7 A.M. but it was closed till 9 o'clock.

The location is great. Only complaint is the front desk slept on the floor. I went to the front desk at 8:35 in the morning and he can’t open his eyes.

Prime location!

The best thing about the hotel is its location - right in the middle of town, opposite the central park and a few minutes’ walk from the Stalin museum. The room was clean and quiet (even though it faced the road) and the en-suite bathroom was very nice. There was plenty of choice in the breakfast menu. I was there for one night only so didn’t have chance to use the pool.

The very loud music at breakfast time wasn’t to my taste. I prefer a quieter start to the day, with space to think…
