The cottage was lovely, really cosy and fab. The owner had even light the fire so the cottage was lovely and warm when we arrived. Perfectly situated for us, peaceful and had a lovely feel to the place.
It didn’t bother me but the younger members of the group didn’t like there was no internet.

the log burner, the ancient feeling of the property, tha animals
Friday evening/ night was very busy outside of rhe cottage as everyone was arriving to take they places. log burner didn’t work.
Then we have very limited amount of cold water, completely run out by Saturday evening and then no hot water by Sunday morning.
and the electric hob is an absolute disaster.

It's a very old house... Many were not working like Hob, Lights, Very Poor Wifi. However the staff was good and they tried to help but didn't work.

Good location and very friendly, helpful owner.
Very dated needs modernising! Had terrible sleep in a very dated old rickety bed with uncomfortable pillows and duvet was so squeaky. Kitchen appliances need updating like the oven, couldn’t see what temperature it was on as all worn off. Log burner didn’t chuck out enough heat to warm the place. I expected allot better as the price was so high per night.

exceeded all expectations!
Thank you so much.
It was tucked away, cosy, and a lot of space.

The Ancient Farmhouse, this is exactly, what I was expecting. Place with the soul. Modern elements does not disturb. Old fireplace and stairs- just love them.Extremely nice owners, helpful. You can buy some of their own products.Peacocks were waking us in the morning and saying good bye in the evening.Hot tube in the old barn. Absolutely unique place. Don't go there if you are looking for a 5 star hotel. You will not appreciate the place.

It was out of the way and quite quirky.

Really like the rustic atmosphere of the house and the farm. We felt welcome and comfortable.
Loved making the fire every day to heat the house as we visited in the winter.
Lovely bath. The stone staircase is incredible. Lots of friendly animals.
Lighting is too bright at some of the places in the house. Maybe some dimmers in the living room?

Beautiful period properly in a beautiful location
Property has full of potential and very authentic
Very quiet during winter
WiFi is poor, water pressure and temperature is low but manageable for a short stay
Pet policy was bit annoying, we didn’t get any information while booking but told to pay £25.00 and pets are not allowed upstairs at the check in
This information should be given before booking

The accommodation was very cosy and atmospheric. The furniture was comfortable and we had all the amenities for our 3 night stay. We loved the location in the middle of the Brecon Beacons and were close to beautiful villages and amazing walks.
The place was really wonderful but if I could recommend a few things it would be: (1) to make it a little easier to find the building with maybe some small signs (especially for us arriving in the dark, it was hard to know where to go); (2) to have the heating on slightly before our arrival (our stay in October started off a little chilly); (3) to write the temperature numbers on the oven as they have been wiped off making it difficult to guess what temperature you are setting; (4) have a place to put the toilet paper roll in the bathroom; and (5) maybe provide written instructions for the wood stove (we didn’t know how to light it but were very happily helped by the owners).
