About this house rental

This beautiful Grade II listed building has been recently refurbished and brought back to life, preserving delightful original features. Located in within the city walls, the 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom townhouse is perfect for friends, families and business professionals visiting Chester.

The property, located off Chester's main ring road, is just a stones throw away from local bars, restaurants, race course, site-seeing, the local theatre and other amenities.

As you enter the house you are welcomed by the expansive space filled with original features and high ceilings. The ground floor consists of a cosy living room with a comfortable sofa bed, a downstairs toilet and a large kitchen/dining area. There is also an outdoor seating area for the warmer months!

Whilst there are many incredible restaurants in Chester, the kitchen is equipped with everything you should need to cook a meal in with family, friends or colleagues, including of course, plenty of wine and prosecco glasses! There is also a Nespresso compatible coffee machine for your use.

On the next two floors are 3 bedrooms, 2 with modern en-suites and there is also one main family bathroom, complete with a freestanding bath. All the bedrooms boast smart TVs with Netflix, comfortable beds, modern wardrobes, drawers and elegant finishing touches. Fresh white linen and clean towels will also be provided for you. There is also a PS4 in the cellar.

There is an allocated parking space for one car at the property. There is a permit in the house which you will need to display in your car. If you have more than one car, there are car parks nearby. Full details of parking will be provided upon booking.

With river bank walks, shopping, sight-seeing, good food and nightlife within a moments walk, you will be kept busy, but will have a relaxing home to come back to after a long day! You will of course also be a short drive from Chester Zoo and the beautiful Cheshire countryside.

We are here to help and would be happy to give recommendations for restaurants, bars, good country pubs, Cheshire walks and must see sights! The welcome book located in the house will provide you with many recommendations on your arrival, or please request beforehand.

Please note that the property is located on the main ring-road around Chester. Given its central location, as with all city centres, there are some building works currently ongoing nearby to make you aware of, which will make the property an even more prime location for new restaurants, shops etc.

Check-in is anytime after 3pm and checkout is 10am.

We stayed here with 2 other couples for 2 nights, primarily to attend Chester Races. The location was perfect for both walking into the town centre and to the racecourse. The house had loads of space - we spent most of the time in the kitchen when in the house. We also managed to sit outside in the small terrace area as the sun was shining 🌞 The rooms are all a good size (the 2 on the top floor are huge). The only slight downside was that there was only 1 room with an en suite, so 2 of the couples had to share a bathroom/shower room. Overall, we all thought the house was excellent for our stay and well worth the money. We were even allowed to keep our bags in the house whilst it was being cleaned on our departure date, rather than us having to take them all with us when we went out for breakfast before heading for the train station. This was much appreciated.
