It’s a beautiful high spec finished cottage in a stunning location. Comfy beds and perfect for our big family get together. The bean to cup coffee machine was a delight!! The speaker system is amazing for a cheeky boogie and we loved it!
The kitchen is under equipped with basics... No colander for example, and if you want to clean up, there is no sweeping brush or hoover. A tap handle was broken on arrival and coat hooks falling off the wall. The property was SO hot it was tropical and we couldn’t work out how to change it. Finally I don’t advise people to arrive in the dark as it is tricky to find... Yet these small things would not be enough to put me off booking again! A superb property

Fabulous.. we loved everything, the house was perfect for a girly weekend of relaxing and gossip with a bit of fresh air and beautiful walks. Rooms were spotless and the beds comfy. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything you could need. Will definitely return!!!!

The location was pretty
the weather - which was unavoidable

The property is close to 3 local pubs that serve great food & great walking tracks in the area. It was only 10 mins drive from dovestones reservoir in greenfield which is very scenic & a beautiful walk, and not far from all the other reservoirs in the area which have beautiful walks.
The property was old & renovated to a good standard so it’s kept its charm. It’s in a quiet location & but easy to get to all the villages in the area. We had 3 weeks there & enjoyed the peaceful surroundings.

The location is beautiful and the house is absolutely stunning! it had such a warm homely feel to it. The owner is very pleasant and was happy to answer any questions.

Super location. Ideal for extended family. Wonderful living space including super large kitchen with sofa - can recommend.
Nothing of any significance

Fabulous rural location, great for dog walking, very clean.
kitchen a little under equipped catering for family meals. could have done with more serving dishes and large pans. Had to buy more tea towels.

Peace and quiet and remote location, could take our dogs with us, also within a reasonable distance of Manchester.
Microwave not working, hoover not working.
Should consider having a mop and bucket, so that we could clean floor with having dogs with us.
Hitting my head on low beams was uncomfortable for a few of us.

Everything, was travelling for work, but would happily come back here for a holiday. Beautiful property.

Location was ideal for the trip intended and the home itself was very nice.
The home was very poorly stocked, I am not sure if this is standard in the UK but there were not consumables available throughout the home from kitchen to bathroom.

The house was absolutely beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean. The location is lovely. A nice quiet location with fields of horses and cows. Only a short walk to a good local pub for food. Really good value

Lovely little place with amazing views, nice to be on the outskirts of the Peak district. Amazing Kitchen / Bar area. Check in and out was very easy. Sofa was comfortable but needs a deep clean. Thank you very much for having us
Cleanliness was okay, cutlery and pans weren’t clean even though they were in the draws. Bathrooms were okay, shower and extractor fan needed cleaning. Dishwasher is broken so has to wash everything up by hand.

Great size property, spacious, good location for walking and lovely local pub to eat in. Good parking outside.
The sofa was very worn and needed a good clean, the steps into the kitchen had loose metal on the edge which kept catching under foot, shower upstairs was intermittent with water pressure, the bath was not usable due to water pressure, the lights outside did not work but were not made aware until we asked, pan handles were very loose (we fixed a few), cracked mirror in bathroom upstairs

we all loved the property, from the well equipped kitchen to the comfy beds, from the spa bath and modern technology to the patio up the steps, from the beautiful walks and views to the three pumpkins carved and waiting to welcome us as we arrived
could do with curtains in the living room windows and the glass door looking over the car park upstairs. could also do with a lock on the bathroom door, a chain on the bath plug as it’s very hard to pull out when the bath is full of water and a gate at the side of the property making the courtyard more secure for dogs and young children.

Lots! Gorgeous location and property. Loved our weekend, celebrating a family birthday. We would definitely stay here again!
The upstairs shower didn't work during our stay, and it was just little things such as only having one tea towel.

Great rural spot, perfect old farmhouse with character and modern interior.
Ideal for catching up with friends and family.
Great for entertaining.
Host REALLY helpful!
Plenty of gear in the kitchen to cook too.
Property itself is all completed to a high standard but just one little niggle…. Lock on bathroom. We are close… but not that close. 😂

Nice location, lots of pretty villages & things to do nearby. Large property. Really comfy beds, amazing kitchen & bathrooms. Great for families or a few friends to get away. Quick response initially via host when we asked questions.
A few things annoyed me. I dident like the sofas- in the picture they looked great and comfy - they were in fact very low down and worn out. I bought cheap throughs to put over them to sit in. You couldent see the tv from half of them. Crockery chipped in the kitchen, no cushion for the outdoor furniture and no reply when I asked where they were. They were covered in leaves. Hot water hard to override so you couldent have more than 2 showers per 1.5 hours and couldent fill the Jacuzzi bath as you ran out of hot water when trying to fill it above a third of the way. Cheap lamps and ikea light fitting to an expensive design looks bad. Not enough towels per bedroom at all. There's a property 2 doors down thats dilapidated and an eyesore- not the hosts fault but doesent look good on the drive up.

The space and comfort, well equipped and high tech
Low ceilings, lack of cleaning products. Not enough basics for the length of our stay

This has to be the best place i have ever stayed. There is not one thing you can fault about this house. The facilities are second to none. I really don't know where to start from the kitchen and sound systems to the decor and log burner it is absolutely stunning and along with the location all I can say is WOW 👏 😍 You would need to go to appreciate it. Thank you Dominic for a truly fantastic stay. Also we were there for work not a holiday and we all looked forward to finishing just to get back to the house and totally relax.
Nothing at all

Lovely location, house is beautiful! Very cosy and warm. Owners put some local milk in the fridge and there was tea coffee sugar...very grateful thank you :) Everything you need is there. We enjoyed a very relaxing time at the house!
Couldn’t fault it

All mod cons. Comfortable and clean. Plenty big enough for six. Stunning views of Delph Valley and the Manchester metropolis.
Garden not enclosed. Quite dark inside.
