nothing
Not given the room we booked and therefore didn’t stay

Location and the staff went above and beyond
The extractor fan in the bathroom continuously leaked, the floor was puddled with water and the green bed runner was on the floor by the wardrobe on arrival to the room.
2.8
Quiet and comfortable beds
Being woken up by the housekeepers coming into the room without knocking first etc.

the view
Property is tired and need of a refresh. Bathroom seemed to have a fair amount of mould and so did the windows.
Both mornings breakfast only ran until 8.30am and we missed one of them

Nothing it was disgrace from the start got to our room it was like a building site full of wood tools and drills went back to reception the receptionist tried found us another room.but couldn't than the manager tried but also couldn't so said we have no rooms sorry we said well we need a room so why not go remove all the stuff from the so he did and just put it all in hall way then said he would put a TV in room which he didn't also we couldn't have coffee next day as no cups and also they was opened used milk and coffee on tray then a guy knocked on our door at 920 to ask if we were leaving today we said yes then wen leaving my partner tripped over bedding they was all over hall ways from cleaners I would never recommend this hotel to anyone staff just didn't have a clue on running a hotel

Location great right on the seafront.
Parking toght, asked to hand in car keys. Room very hot on 4th floor nowhere near friends (2nd floor), wallpaper peeling off the wall. Hotel packed with coach tours.

Room was fine; tired but clean and comfortable.
Car parking was good and lots of space. Location was fabulous.
Reception desk was not manned at all on the morning of departure and our car was blocked in in the car park. Ended up having to walk to our day trip destination as we couldn’t wait any longer!

Located right across the road from the beach
Told in no uncertain terms that booking.com customers could not use the dining room for breakfast nor order a dinner. Room was reasonably clean but shabby with very poor lighting. Tinted mirrors in room meant makeup was hit and miss! Shower room not bright enough to use the mirror. Continental Breakfast was brought in a bag and left outside the door if we were lucky. It did not arrive twice but could only get someone on reception to answer once. Then it was brought up by her with an apology but on our last day no one answered so we went without . Overall an average hotel with short sighted policies as we would have spent more money with them on meals if allowed. This is my last time booking through an agency as we were seemingly penalised by the hotel for doing so.

The front of the building looks OK
Where to start… the room was dirty, cobwebs in all corners of the room, stains on the curtains, stains on the travel cot, mouldy old food and crumbs on the high chair, black mould on bathroom tiles, thick layer of dust in room and bathroom, peeling paint/wall paper, dirty window frames, floor not hoovered, dirty tea cups.

We can't fault it. The room was very spacious, sea view wonderful, maybe except for the cars sound from the road in the morning, but we expected that from the location of the hotel. Hotel itself very quiet. Our 8yo enjoyed bingo and darts with dad in the evening and I enjoyed quiet hour on my own reading book and listening to the sea waves. Staff was very friendly. We didn't book breakfast so I can't comment on food.
2.8
Room wasn't vacuumed, lots of dirt/debris on the floor. Couldn't walk on it in bare feet.
However staff did sort it at first opportunity.

view from the windows
The bathroom was dirty

Opposite the beach
paid extra for breakfast - no description saying it was a packed breakfast with boxed cereal and and apple juice carton - lied to us that breakfast was closed because of corona (when they’re bar and ballroom were open) then when saw guests being served breakfast got told by different staff it’s only reserved for those that stay for 4 nights. The room was boiling, the view of the window was half blocked by concrete, they missed out facilities in the room such as a telephone, hair dryer, desk, coffee maker, said it would be carpeted the carpet barely fit the floor. They had a fan in the room due to the poor ventilation but we had to listen to a small plastic fan all night which disrupted our sleep. It was the most expensive place we stayed during our entire trip (over £100 for one night) and when talking to the staff in the morning there was no apology or help given.

NOTHING
The room was £122 a night, it stated that it was a double room but only one person could move around the room. The towels had brown stains on them, the sheets had hairs on them, the carpet was filthy, the sink had hairs in them and there was no bin liner. The bannister leading to the forth floor was brown and not the colour it was supposed to be which was white. The parking was incredibly poor. I asked for a refund and reluctantly was given it. The receptionist was not very customer focused at all. There was no apology at all. It ruined the whole weekend as there was no other accommodation available and we had to drive home. This weekend had been booked and planned for months as it was a birthday surprise. I would not recommend this hotel ever.

The continental breakfast turned up outside our room in a brown paper bag. The packaging probably tasted better than the food/contents inside.
had to leave car keys at reception. Room not cleaned for whole 3 day stay. No towels or toiletries in room when we arrived. Had to walk through dining room while people were having their meals to exit the hotel.
2.8
Location, beds clean and comfortable. Staff attentive and helpful. Plenty of tea and coffee in room and no problem if you wanted more
Room shabby and dated. Furniture stained and in need in of repair or replacement. Bathroom in poor condition, although clean. Interior of room did not match exterior splendour. Expensive even allowing for location and view. More that central London. Drinks very expensive and white wine quite possibly the worst wine ever tasted.
2.8
Comfy bed, nice furniture, the view was good, very pleased there was a fan in the room
The room needed a redecorate lots of marks on the walls missing paint, cobwebs in a few places, no body wash in the shower dispenser, bathroom feels dirty needs a redecorate and updating, tobacco all over the radiater where someone had been smoking out the window, carpet lifting up behind chair.

Did not have breakfast in our deal
Room had a lovely sea view.
Comfortable beds. Polite staff.
Bathroom needed a bit of a refresh.

The location was excellent and the room size, room spec and facilities were also great. We also enjoyed the in-house entertainment-especially the Elvis tribute show!!
The continental breakfast to the room was a disappointment as we’d have preferred a full English and being able to go to the dining room
2.8

It was my birthday so it was nice no

It would be nice if daish picked up from reading in Berkshire

The location was good, room great sea view. We had continental breakfast in room, though had to get dishes from reception first time!!
Would have liked to have sat in the dining room for breakfast with a pot of tea!! Obviously with Covid things were more difficult.t

Only disappointment was not getting a breakfast despite having paid for it.
No breakfast.

The hotel was beautiful, great lobby decor. The staff were friendly and kind. Room exceeded expectations, and was lovely.
2.8
Nice size double room, with all the standard commodities and well situated.
Bed/mattress a bit wonky, as I was sliding to the right, maibe it's the old wooden floors.
Bathroom needs a new coat of paint, even though the water pressure was good, the shower is very small.
2.8
Location
Very dated room, no heating in the room I was in, only hand shower
