About this house rental
This spacious open-air 1bedroom 2 bath townhouse is located on Molokai’s sunny west end at Kalua Koi. The architecture is plantation-style with two tall French doors spanning the length of the main floor. It is two-story with 1,200 sq. ft. of space. The ceilings are high on each level, equipped with ceiling fans. Enjoy the shady screened-in porch underneath a canopy of large trees.
Enjoy the view of the ocean from the lanai while you have your morning coffee or evening cocktail! The recently remodeled kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meals made from the fresh fruits, vegetables, fish and meats available on the island.
You'll feel like you're sleeping in a tree house under the stars with three skylights over the queen bed in the upstairs bedroom or with a futon and queen airbed which can both be set up on the lanai. . The two bathrooms have tubs with shower enclosures, new tile work, and ample counter and cabinet space. There is a heavy duty washer dryer set in the upstairs bathroom to enable you to start a load of wash before you set off for the beach, pool, a hike, run, swim, surf, or to simply stroll the beautifully landscaped grounds!
Our complex is beautifully landscaped with tropical trees and plants for a jungle feel. The mature trees provide a shady environment which feels cool and serene. Open the front door to the condo and the trades will blow through the unit and out the lanai. The beaches of the westside are great for surfing in the winter, and perfect for snorkeling and swimming in the summer. The eastern side is lush and tropical with the longest barrier reef in the Hawaiian Islands, which offers excellent opportunities for snorkeling and scuba diving.
The town of Maunaloa is a five minute drive away and has a market open until 6 everyday except Sunday until 12 noon. They stock all necessities, some fresh fruit and vegetables, and frozen entrees, beer, wine, and liquor.

Great house, great neighborhood, great neighbors.

This condo is well equipped with many extras. Very spacious, especially when you open the folding doors to the screened in porch/lanai. It was easy to communicate with the owner. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed a week on Moloka'i and had a delightful time in this lovely hale (home)! It was just as described and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pans, dishes, etc. The bed was a tad stiff for us but we were always well rested. Moloka'i is remote and laid back with few restaurants and shopping. But if you're looking to relax and unwind Paniolo Hale is perfect!

I love Paiolo Hale. Stayed at many different condos there.
As always, Paniolo Hale is a beautiful place to rent. Unfortunately the Wi-Fi wasn’t set up. Took to many days to get that going. There was also a all power outage. No flashlights, that worked, 3 small candles w/no matches. Luckily I travel w/a flashlight & matches. I’m surprised that VRBO doesn’t have owners have a “emergency kit” required for rentals. Disappointing. If I hadn’t been to the property before, it would have been bad for a first timer. It could have gone wrong really quick. The owner of property was more in touch w/me than the on island “manager “. That’s unacceptable. I contacted her, 3x’s via text & voicemail. One time she responded & told me she didn’t know how to set Wi-Fi system up., she also said I could contact her anytime. Not much help leaving a message w/no reply

Tropical paradise
The unit was equipped with everything I needed. I loved listening to the waves crash on the beach while sipping coffee on lanai. The plants and flowers were beautiful. Seeing a monk seal on the beach was amazing! I loved walking on the beautiful beaches and the gorgeous sunsets.

Paradise
You could not ask for a better location on Molokai. Located in the a very well taken garden of shade trees and foliage this unit gives you a nice peek of Kepuhi Beach from its fantastic Lanai! We took advantage of the 1/2 mile walk to Papohaku Beach. This is one of the nicest and most pristine beaches in the entire world! It’s about 3 miles long with beautiful deep and gold sand.
We will return!
