Location was great. Hotel was adequate and probably one of the nicer places in Cooke City. But......
Of the 5 hotels we stayed at on our vacation in various locations, this was the most expensive. But it was definitely not the nicest. Other places we stayed at were much cheaper, but so much nicer. At the price we paid I would expect a little better. At least throw in a free breakfast or something. I understand Cooke City is very limited in choice, and this fact, along with being next to Yellowstone, allows them to charge much more, but still, price to value is not appropriate. Having said that though, if I ever go to Cooke City again, I would probably stay there again as Cooke City itself is very limited in what they can provide.

The location was good and as close as possible to mother nature
There was no one to manage the property after 8:30 pm. The door lock was so poor that we got stuck outside for almost an hour and there was no one in the property management company nor any one reachable by phone to help us out leaving us outside in the cold weather for a long time.

If you’re looking for a rustic resort near Yellowstone, with little traffic, and all the feel of home, this is it! Friendly staff, comfortable rooms
& very clean. Beds very comfortable!
Nothing. Was the best!!

Small town atmosphere and close to the best area for Yellowstone NP wildlife viewing.
I was here the week before Memorial day when most eating establishments were still closed.

Would appreciate a microwave, a small frig. Or at least having ice available.

The room was clean and adequate. It was the only place available when I booked short notice.
I felt like it was overpriced for what we had. I wish the front desk person would have been more informative about food/restaurants in the area as we checked in right at dinner time. There was not much to choose from and everything closed early.

Nice room, clean.
No Wifi...said it was so many people using it...never got it 1st night, 2nd night people left but wifi came and went, took too long to try to get it , finally gave up.

The woman that checked us in was very nice.
Our parking space was compromised because there were a lot of four-wheelers there and they had them everywhere.

Great location
Rooms were very dated and did not feel clean. No tissue paper.
7.0
The room was clean and spacious
No complementary ice. No dining at the hotel for the time being. If you are traveling Yellowstone, this is a very small town with no big market and may not be your best choice.

Great location and access to park is very handy to beat the traffic and see wildlife early if going into yellowstone price was a little high but this area is at a premium so very comparable to others in town.
A microwave in room would be helpful or fridge. Wifi was not a good hook up for me.
