This is the second stay we've had at this home, and both provided memories. While our summer weather didn't hold up, the grey skies didn't ruin the kids' paddle boarding.
We had about an hour of frustration trying to access entry. The property manager was finally able to help us out. Otherwise it was a great stay!

We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, walks on the beach and sitting on the private patio right at the water.

This is a beautifully updated vacation home with a view of the Puget Sound and Whidbey Island. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything you need. We only stayed two nights and wished we would have booked a longer stay! It easily sleeps 8. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean and cozy. We loved the view and quiet neighborhood. We will definitely return for a longer stay!! Thank you Vacasa for making check in and out a breeze!

The various views of the sunsets/ sunrises, quiet, peaceful, immaculate house, friendly neighbors all made for an amazing stay. The cherry on top was the lady strolling by, taking her turkey for a walk. 10/10 will visit again!

We have come here for 3 years now as a couple retreat with other couples. We love the location.

The kitchen was our hang out spot and was really great! We were here for my son's wedding! Loved the West side sunsets!!! The kitchen was well stocked and had both keurig and drip coffee makers. Loved the double ovens, gas cook top and barbecue!

Our family owned a vacation home 1/2 mile north of this rental for 32 years. When our mother passed it was sold. We love Camano Island and were so thrilled to stay in this partly modern, partly funky old beach house. We loved being able to sit on the deck for the waves and amazing sunsets. Hoping we will be able to come again. Thanks!

My family enjoyed their stay at this house. The photos, however, are misleading in a couple of cases: there is no hand-held shower head in the master shower, there are no table and chairs on the deck, there are stairs up to the living room/tv area, and there is no photo of the back entrance that must be used for entry. That entrance is not easy for carrying in suitcases and coolers as you go down 3 big steps, then up 4….both without railings. It is best to load and unload at the front door (shown). I use a walker and made some assumptions from the photos I could see. That is on me. But only 1 of the 3 fireplaces is operational. So, I believe there is some clarification that needs to be made on the part of the renter beforehand. Directions for keypad entry were incomplete, directions for locking up (given over the phone when working with Vacasa to get in) were incorrect. Requests for how to leave the house differed from what we received online and those posted in a book left on the counter. We followed the online instructions. All of that said, the house is in a great quiet location and has comfortable beds and furniture and a nice view.

We had a good time the week we expended at this house. Thanks you so much for make our staying safe and comfortable. One thing that can be improved is a detailed cleaning ( under the beds and under carpets) and like someone already commented more privacy. Meaning some type of covering for the windows that needed.
Again thanks, my grandsons had a great time swimming and looking 👀 for 🦀 and starfish!

Loved the home, loved the neighborhood. We thought from the photos on the website that the beautiful big dock was attached to the house. It is actually across a street and down on an adjacent lot.
Other neighbors renting in the neighborhood used the space (that was our view from the house) as their parking lot! Parking multiple cars blocking our view!
Had to request a couple times that they please move them. Completely inappropriate.
Other than that issue - it is a great home and neighborhood. Comfortable beds and great kitchen and living room space.
Plenty of room to park three cars in their carport.

This is an absolutely lovely property. The teenagers loved the basement bedroom, there are plenty of common spaces to hang out, and the patio/deck area down by the beach was awesome. We saw whales two nights in a row. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

We were in town to deal with a family member who lives on Camano being hospitalized. House was super clean upon our arrival and would be a great set up for a larger group. Wonderful kitchen, super comfortable bed in the master, pretty well equipped. Our only nitpicks would be 1) sitting in the kitchen you feel somewhat exposed. There are no curtains in most of the windows. One neighbor was frequently just sitting in his truck outside facing us and it was somewhat creepy. This is a high density neighborhood with other houses close by so no curtains feels a bit strange 2) the deck and water access is across a road (albeit low traffic) from the house - if you have small kids, keep an eye on them. 4) water pressure in the shower was pretty low 3) there were a few things we needed that we would have expected the kitchen to have - filters for the coffee machine, plastic or foil wrap, a lime squeezer. All easily solved by a visit to QFC. Overall, a very nice stay.

We enjoyed this waterfront property, it’s truly as beautiful as the photos and as described, right on the water with private access to the beach. Bonus there is a bald eagle that hangs out in the tree right out front. You can walk around the neighborhood and the neighbor man next door is the most friendly and helpful. My husband and 8 month old daughter stayed here with her grandparents. It was child friendly but not fully child proof, it could have benefited from a few outlet covers for our crawler, she found all of the outlets. We brought a pack and play but it would have been nice if they had one already there to use. Our one and only complaint is that the one and only TV there is ancient and the Roku stick they have didn’t pair with the remote. The DVD did work but the sound was awful and had a loud humming when the bass came on. This is not a place for a family that winds down to movies or shows at the end of the day. Our 8 mo isn’t on screens yet, but this isn’t a place for plopping her down to watch something while you fix dinner either. We also couldn’t reach the property owner to ask about the Roku, which wasn’t a great experience, however the sunset here was unmatched and the kitchen is fully stocked and perfect for the chef in everyone. Plan on cooking at least one meal here it’s set up we’ll for it.

Lovely home, very clean, and nice view. Home furnished very well. But forget about privacy. Lot is split by road neighbors use for laps and getting around. Hope you like people seeing you in your pjs cuz they will if you wear them to breakfast. Quiet coffee or wine on the deck and a dozen people walk by. Also no railings on some step areas. Especially when getting from car down cement stairs with drop off and then up to house. Three different levels in home and no rail in walk in shower to steady yourself. No railing and steps to get onto deck by water and no chairs. Cement steps to water again with no railing. I have difficulty getting around because of my knees. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay but she and I both worried about me falling at every turn. Even grassy area has four big dips and rain made it impossible for me to navigate without help. You will enjoy yourself, and the home couldn’t be lovelier. But if you have ANY issue with your knees or balance while walking this is not the home for you.

The house was beyond adorable and perfectly situated on Camano Island. It made for a wonderful venue for a girls' weekend away. It's remote, yet close enough to town, and the views were wonderful.

We loved our stay. The house had everything we needed and had the perfect location. We enjoyed beautiful morning walks on the shore where we saw seals, dolphins and collected agate rocks. The sunsets were breathtaking. Our only complaint if we had to have one was one of the beds was a comfort air bed and was not that comfortable. Overall we loved our stay and would return.

This was a great place to stay. It was very clean and anything that we might of needed was provided. The best part was the deck right down at the waters edge. It was a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the view, the water, and a glass of wine. I will definitely stay here again if the possibility of a trip to Camano Island comes up.

From the clean, perfectly detailed home to the spectacular scenery, the time we spent with our kids from England was priceless.
The rental did not disappoint, except for needing to say goodbye!
We were blessed with generous neighbors, who thoughtfully offered two paddle boards for the the girls to use.
A humpback whale chose the area for its meal, and two bald eagles entertained us throughout our stay.
Thank you for offering this home as a getaway location. We most definitely will visit again!

Perfect sized house for our group. Wonderful views, especially in the evenings. Was nice to have close walking distance down to the Sound. Great neighborhood to go for walks in. Grocery store was ~3 miles away, convenient if we forgot anything.

Four adult women got away for a girls trip to the beach and stayed at the Madrona Beach House. The house is super cute, clean, master bedroom super spacious, right on the water, open kitchen facing the water, huge TV room and all ladies loved it! Would highly recommend!

Amazing Spot on the Water
Wonderful property with amazing views and great accommodations. Looking forward to staying here again. Only (slight) negative: the main bedroom with water views has skylight and only light filtering shades on windows. So if you have to have it dark, bring an eyeshade. Otherwise fantastic.

Enjoy the view!
Having lived in the area for many years prior to moving, Camano Island has a special draw for us. This met our expectations on almost every point. The beautiful views and incredible sunsets were deserving of a travel brochure. The house was comfortable and well stocked and plenty large enough to host the kids and grandkids. My wife is already planning our next visit to the area which will include this home.
