About this house rental
With three king-size beds—one in each of its three bedrooms—White Mountain Escape is perfect for a getaway with another couple or two. Of course, it can accommodate a family just as comfortably. Kids and adults alike will appreciate the wraparound deck, the free WiFi, the cable TV, and the proximity to numerous area attractions.
The deck will be one of the first things you notice about White Mountain Escape. Its hot tub looks out onto lush Ponderosa pines. After a day of hiking or mountain biking, you’ll no doubt make a beeline for the tub’s massaging waters. A pampering soak will soon have your weary muscles feeling as good as new and ready to take on the next day’s adventures.
You can cook and dine on the deck as well. Barbecue burgers or fresh-caught fish on the gas grill, then enjoy at the elegant outdoor dining table, which seats 6. The fresh mountain breeze transforms even the simplest fare into a feast.
In winter, you’ll probably prefer to eat indoors. White Mountain Escape’s dining area seats 8 people: 6 at the handsomely made table and 2 more at the adjacent breakfast bar. On the other side of the bar is the kitchen, equipped with a full complement of appliances, cookware, and tableware. All you have to supply is the food and a hearty appetite.
There’s more than enough space in the living room for everyone to hang out together. From the leather sofa and the recliners, you can gaze through the picture windows at the majestic mountains or watch a movie on the flat-screen TV. The kids can sprawl out on the carpet with their games and toys. In winter the wood-burning fireplace is sure to be a favorite gathering spot, while in the summer the ceiling fan and the central air-conditioning will cool you off when you return from the links or the hiking trail.
Each of the 3 bedrooms has its own TV and generous storage in addition to a sumptuous king-size bed, and each is decorated in the same Spanish Colonial elegance as the rest of White Mountain Escape. The master suite includes a private bathroom with a combination shower/tub and twin sinks. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms share the 2nd bathroom, which also has a shower/tub combo. Expecting extra guests? The living room couch opens into a bed for 2.
As you drive up the driveway, there is parking for 3 autos. Street side there is additional space to park your RV, motorcycle trailer or horse trailer.

This was a perfect weekend getaway to relax & rejuvenate. I loved seeing the wild horses, deer & elk. This home is beautiful & well kept. The master bed is very comfortable (I prefer beds that aren't too firm). The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and great pots and plans. The spa is an added lovely touch and helps you wind down at the end of the day or can help you begin your day however you see fit. The pictures listed don't do the listing justice. When you walk in its even more spectacular. This is the place you've been looking for to getaway.

We booked this house while we were in town for a baseball tournament. The house was super clean and was as described. It was perfect for our family and the beds were very comfortable after a long day of baseball. The kids also enjoyed the hot tub for relaxing after a long day. The neighborhood was very quiet and close to the main town. Definitely recommend!

Great Location. We went for a walk and looked at all the nice houses in the neighborhood. Not far from restaurants, grocery stores and downtown. We got to see deer outside the windows and while driving we ran into elk down the street. It was nice sitting in the hot tub to relax and snuggling with our blankets by the cozy fire watching tv. Very nice!

Location Perfect, experience most beautiful nature and God's art. Will definitely return.....The only one regret for all of us was "WE DID NOT GET INTO THE JACUZZI FROM THE FIRST DAY WE WERE THERE"....Thank you for sharing your home made our trip the best!

I booked this property for our family vacation and am so happy I did. It is close to everything, shopping, food and fun. The house was spacious and clean, and nicely decorated. Loved that it had a washer and dryer for my family of 5. We got to see all kinds of wildlife (Deer, Elk, Wild horses, and Crows) from our windows and the deck/porch area. The only downside for us were the beds. They were a Tempur-Pedic material that caused you to sink in. We prefer a firmer mattress. This is a personal preference, so it may not bother you. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again.

The house was decorated for Christmas and was cozy!
We were visited by horses and deer most mornings, the grandbabies loved going out and feeding them.
The hot tub was an added bonus and the beds are comfy as well!
The home is located close everything such as skiing, winter park and shopping.
Tom was a great host and stayed in touch and always answered all my questions.
If you are looking for a getaway you need to consider staying here.

Our family (all adults) stayed at White Mountain Escape over the Christmas holidays and had a great time. The property is conveniently located close to downtown and other outdoor activities. It's also in a quiet and nice neighborhood. We enjoyed the hot tub after a full day of activities each evening. There was plenty of space for cooking, eating and the living room was very comfortable. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was awesome! We definitely recommend staying at White Mountain Escape for your next visit to Ruidoso!

Family and I wanted some place different for Christmas and what we got was straight out of Lifetime Christmas movie. (Ladies you can relate.) From the beautiful Christmas decorations to the log burning fireplace. 3 great bedrooms, real leather Sleeper sofa (mattress needs a little upgrade but decent for kids) 2 bathrooms was perfect. The views were picturesque from the front porch, we had our Morning coffee out there looking at all the elk and deer walk by. Late night dips in the hot tub were fun but it sure gets cold, it's a dry cold. The heater in the house is crazy warm at one point we turn it off. Plenty of hot water too for our large family. Lots of extra pillows and towels came in handy.
Kitchen had everything to make all our large meals. It does have stairs inside going down into the garage which made it easier coming in and out of the house. We hardly used the front door. Also, which was so nice. 2 books with lots of info from places to eat to entertainment. Was a big help!! Center of town was close, lots of cool shops, we went on a sleigh ride, visited the skating ring and ended our Christmas vacay at the Flying J Ranch for their White Mountain Christmas event.

We stayed for the Thanksgiving holiday and had a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this home for families and for cooking meals. Everything was very comfortable and the location was ideal. Tom is a kind and responsive host. We really enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub on the extra chilly nights!

This cabin is beautiful, very clean, and the beds were so comfortable! The hot tub and fireplace were a super plus.I would definitely stay here again. Also had all the kitchen items we needed to cook a meal. The only thing I had a hard time with was the stairs.

The house was super clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked and the beds were comfortable, two things I greatly appreciate when renting. We had wildlife to watch in the area and a beautiful view every morning from the deck as the sun came up. Very convenient to restaurants. Would definitely consider renting again depending on the size of our group.

Very nice property. Great location. House was very clean and well taken care of. This property has a huge garage. The spa was sparkling clean, and the grill was in excellent shape. We have been visiting Ruidoso yearly for 25 plus years and have stayed at many properties, and this one is outstanding. We will be back! Thank you very much!

We had a great stay at this property! It was clean, very well kept, and had everything we needed. It is in a very nice quiet neighborhood. We saw deer and elk come through the yard and had plenty of room for our family of 7. It has a very nice porch with a good view. Would highly recommend!
