The staff was very friendly and helpful. The underground parking was very nice and very safe and the condo was close to skiing if that is of interest and if it is in season. We visited in the summer so “slope side” was of no interest to us.
The condo itself was a real disappointment. Mirrored walls and mirrored sliding closet doors, painfully low vanity heights, a very loud, in-wall AC unit in the primary bedroom and aging bedding and pillows all reflected a condo that was very dated and in need of extensive updating. The primary bedroom was right on an inside corridor and anyone walking by outside could easily look directly into the bedroom through the only window in the room. Therefore, pulling the blackout shade was essential for both security and privacy. Thus, the bedroom was a dark tomb.
The only air conditioning in the condo was provided by the in-wall unit in the primary bedroom. The AC was broken so it was just a very loud fan. It was almost impossible to sleep with it turned on.
Views throughout the remainder of the unit were nonexistent. You either looked right into the adjoining building or looked down over an outside mall with no inherent beauty.
This was not good value for the cost.

Loved our stay at Torian Plum. Location is great and the condo was perfect for our family. Would definitely stay here again!

The unit at Torian Plum was excellent. Centrally located and steps from the slopes. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Recommend to anyone who wants to close to the slopes, restaurants and ski shops. Nice view from the balcony and easy access from the parking garage.

Right at the base of the new Wild Blue Gondola, friendly front desk staff, new kitchen and bathrooms, very comfortable for four adults (two couples), covered parking included, luggage carts to get your gear to the room, ski locker right outside unit, and super clean when we arrived. Can’t beat the location and free shuttle to the downtown area! We would stay here again if available when we travel to Steamboat next.

Perfect place to stay while in Steamboat. Clean, comfortable, and secure. Well-appointed kitchen. Appreciated the washer and dryer. Easy check-in, check-out, and parking. Friendly, helpful staff. We had a perfect stay. Could not have asked for more.

The location is great, quick access to the slopes, equipment rental, shops and restaurants. The living/kitchen area is spacious. The twin bed room is a little small for two teenage boys but the bathrooms and master bedroom were very nice.

Perfect Location
We picked Torian Plum for the location and it did not disappoint! Our accommodations were extremely clean and fresh. The free shuttle was a huge bonus. The only thing that I wished we had on a snowy night was Smart TV to watch the movies we wanted to watch.

Wonderful stay in an amazing location
I would echo every single thing the previous reviewer said. This is literally the perfect location: slopeside, beautiful view of the mountain, close to the base, coaster, shops, restaurants, apres ski without being right in the center of the noise. This unit is a slightly older vibe but in a very alpine/ski way. It’s clearly had several upgrades including granite counter tops, etc. Kitchen is very well stocked. We loved that there were three hot tubs and a large pool, plenty of room for everyone! The free Vacasa shuttle was terrific and worked very efficiently even on the busy Presidents Day weekend. This was a perfect spot for our family if 4 and we would definitely rent again.

True ski in/ski out. Can’t beat the location!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very clean 2 BR unit overlooking the mountain with super comfortable beds. Despite being right at the base area next to the ski school, Torian Sports, and restaurants the unit is very quiet. It was an extremely cold week but the gas fireplace made for cozy mornings and evenings. The unit has everything you could want. It’s only a few steps from the stairs or elevator and a short walk before you strap on your skis. The only thing not convenient is the outdoor hot tub. The base of the mountain is closer than the hot tub! You have to walk outdoors to get to it so after getting out of the tub with a wet bathing suit on you either have to get changed in the only co-Ed bathroom they have or put warm clothes over a wet suit. For that reason we only used it once. I guess it would have been nice to have robes to wear to and from the hot tub. Definitely not a deal breaker but worth mentioning. The unit is a little dated but the bathrooms were recently upgraded and as I said earlier it was very clean!
The second bedroom was a little tight for two college kids but it worked. The unit is advertised as sleeping six but there is one king bedroom, a room with twin beds and an air mattress which would not easily fit anywhere in the living room dining room. There are 3 TV’s (one in each bedroom) which was nice too.
There is a shuttle available to take you into Steamboat. Very convenient and you only have to call 15 minutes in advance.
Torian Plum is very well run and they got back to us with any questions/concerns promptly. All staff are very friendly, helpful and courteous!
We would definitely go back!

You can't beat the location. It's right on the base of the slope and if you're renting equipment, Torian Sports is right there. We walked to the resort restaurants to eat. Sheraton and Starbucks about 3 mins.
As far as the condo, we were very happy. It's an older condo complex but nicely updated with granite counters in kitchen and baths, new sinks and fixtures, and the baths appear to have been recently tiled.
When I say older, it has the wood grain and mirroring of the 80's style but it feels very appropriate and lodge-like. It was well-stocked, spotless. Comdortable beds. Flat smart screens in each room with Dish or streaming.
The appliances are older but clean as new and well-maintained. Our family of 4 was very comfortable and you could easily sleep another person on the couch and a couple more on the living room floor if needed. There is a blow up bed under the master. Good closet space.
It also has a porch with a good view of the slope. Additionally, you have a a full-size locking ski equipment closet next to the front door that will hold your skis, boots and snowboards with no problem.
We had no noise issues or problems.
I'd say we are very picky people and were satisfied with our stay. I don't think the pics as of Feb 2022 on this listing do it justice. It's a nice condo with an incredible location and partial slope view and the 2nd floor means you can easily take the stairs if preferred.
Plenty of parking in the garage but if this is your first trip, skip the car rental and use the multitude of free shuttles.

Ski n Ski out
We had a great time. The staff at the Torian Plum were very helpful and friendly. I would not recommend Terry Sports for ski rental. The equipment was old and beat up. In addition, they charged us more in person than online.

Torian Plum is 100 steps from the slopes with rentals and storage even closer.
We have stayed at Torian Plum for years. Friendly staff, great location , free shuttle, and really nice condos. The main thing we love is the close proximity to the slopes. We literally walk out the back entrance of the property and we take 100 more steps and we are at the base. We rent from Terry’s sports which is located just outside the Torian. They store our skis as well. We literally walk in to terry’s grab our skis,
Walk out the door, take 20 steps, put on our skis and go. It is awesome!! We have stayed in two and three bedroom condos. The two bedroom was just right for our family of 5. When we took the grandparents the 3 bedroom was very roomy!! The property is a bit older but is well kept and updated. I highly recommend Torian for families looking for a convenient, low stress ski vacation.

Great location. Friendly staff
We had a great time in Steamboat; the location of this unit is ideal and it has everything you need to enjoy your vacation. View from the balcony is great....we had a small issue with the shuttle picking us up from town - but it seemed to be a one-off issue due to heavy demand (we were there on a very busy weekend). Would stay there again, for sure.

yes! and would stay again!
My family and I very much enjoyed the condo. The building was very well taken care of - easy parking garage - and the ski in/ski out was a breeze, talk about being spoiled! The condo was very well appointed ... we enjoyed the kitchen, the nice dining area and the living room. The stackable washer and dryer were handy. And the bedrooms - and updated bathrooms were nice! Janeth was super easy to communicate with too! Overall, we loved our visit to Steamboat! And we would definitely consider staying in the condo again - we felt the value was definitely there!
