I recently spent two rejuvenating days at a stunning villa that left a lasting impression on me. The atmosphere was filled with tranquility, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The hospitality extended by the staff was exceptional, adding to the overall warmth of the experience.
One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking view of the lake. Waking up to the serene sunrise and winding down at sunset with such a picturesque backdrop was a true feast for the senses. The villa was equipped with everything I could possibly need, eliminating the need to venture outside. From a cozy bar and grill to a well-equipped fitness center, every amenity was thoughtfully provided.
For those who enjoy water activities, the access to paddle board rentals was a delightful bonus. It offered a wonderful way to connect with nature while having fun on the water.
If you're seeking a place to unwind, destress, and completely unplug from the chaos of everyday life, I wholeheartedly recommend this villa. It’s a sanctuary where you can relax and rejuvenate, surrounded by natural beauty and unparalleled hospitality.

The property itself is very run-down; the outside is in serious need of cleaning, painting, repair and upgrade. The interior of the condo was not clean - after we cleaned up what appeared to be a spill from the previous renters, picked up several dead insects, swept the patio and cleaned a lot of spider webs and much dirt off the chairs on the patio, we felt we could settle in. The pools were both dirty and quite cloudy. The Phase 1 pool outside our room had bugs, dirt, leaves and wads of hair floating in it. Phase 2 pool was better, however we learned that another renter spent quite some time earlier in the day with the skimmer cleaning it out. We decided to leave a day early because we kept coming across issues - bathroom was not clean - we were allotted one towel each for a 4 day stay - dryer did not work - ice maker generated clumps, not ice cubes - pools never got much better. Overall we feel cheated. The culmination is when my girlfriend said "worst vacation ever."

The unit is located in a very dated property that definitely needed upkeep in a residential area that was also quite dated and in an area of the lake with basically nothing to do and 45 minutes to an hour drive to anything would definitely not stay in this area again. The condo was decorated cute; however, the shower doors didn’t close properly bathroom towels were very worn and almost thread bare, and the soap in the bathroom was a combination of different types to conserve $$ I can only guess. All items for the property management not owner.

We came down from Fort Worth for a stay on lake Travis. This condo exceeded all of our expectations. It’s a very beautiful location. The hot tub wasn’t working but besides that everything was great.

The place was in a great location. Had some inconveniences (dead bugs, non-working elevator, etc.), but still nice place. The balcony is great, but desperately needs ceiling fans (not a want, it’s a need) to even enjoy properly.
Overall the property is nice and will be even better if lake levels are ever back to normal.

We had a beautiful time at this vacation rental. The views of the lake are breathtaking watching the sun come up and set had been our favorite…. The property was clean and suited our needs… The patio need a good cleaning but other than that it was a wonderful stay!

Nice condo with everything you need. Right off the pool and close to elevator for ease of parking lot. Nice amenities. The only downside is it’s a little far from activities (40 minutes) in Cedar Park or Austin, but if you’re just wanting a relaxing stay and play this is a perfect spot.

We loved the condo we rented on The Island on Lake Travis which is located in Lago Vista. It is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. The condo was very clean. The master bedroom features a king-size bed, it was by far some of the best sleep the wife and I had. Also, master bedroom lets you enjoy a gorgeous view from your bed or easy access to a balcony that overlooks the pool and incredible view of the lake. The smart TV lets you enjoy some lazy nights in the bedroom. The bathroom includes a walk-in shower, single vanity sink.
The open floorplan provides an intimate atmosphere. The living area is comfortably furnished with a couch and chair that face the TV for entertainment, as well as door leading out to the balcony a stunning view and comfortable furnishings, with sofa, and comfortable seating waiting for you outside. You are guaranteed to find yourself sipping a tropical drink while enjoying the beautiful view and cool breeze.
The dining area table offers seating for four and is the perfect spot for a fancy or casual meal. It connects to the open kitchen, which boasts a large countertop that is a great place to set out drinks or try a buffet-styled dinner. The granite countertops make the well-equipped kitchen a fun place for cooking! You have plenty of options for taking in your meal with the people you love, from the dining area, breakfast bar seating, or dining on the balcony Also, condo has a washer/dryer will keep you feeling refreshed!
A plus is the condo is on the 1st floor and less then 20ft from the elevator which lead to the underground parking.
Whether you're a couple looking for quiet place or searching for a fun-filled getaway, there's no better place than the stunning beauty of The Island on Lake Travis. We love going to Lake Travis after Christmas each year. This year, we stayed at the best condo to date at the Island on Lake Travis. ITrip members even sent us a facilities update during our stay. Everything was top notch and we will definitely stay at this condo again.

They were very responsive and instructions were very thorough! The property was exactly as listed and the location was perfect (away from hustle & bustle). We loved being so close to the pool and the balcony looking out onto the pool/lake was lovely. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed. The condo grounds were so lovely and well maintained. The lake is VERY low, but the area is in a big drought. The pool was clean and water was warm. Lots of families and kids playing. Loved the fountain flowing in to the pool. It was about a 10-15 min drive to the nearest grocery store/drug store and 20-25 min to Cedar park. We got groceries and had no issues driving in for dinner at night. We would love to come back and bring our kids.

This unit offers 2 paddle boards with easy access to the water. Just cross the river to Pace Bend Park and you can rock climb, jump from the cliff and swim. Great Sunsets views. My daughter and I love this place!

Great condo
I stayed at Vela Villa for a week this summer and loved it! The view of the lake was the show-stopper. I enjoyed the patio every morning and night. The condo was very clean upon arrival, and iTrip was great to work with. Offered me an early check-in, which was much appreciated. The condo is as close to the pool as you can get, which was great. I spent a lot of time by the pool and it was nice to be able to walk up to the condo for drinks, or to cool off. Can't wait to go back.

Great Weekend Getaway
My husband and I had a wonderful weekend at Vela Villa. The condo was very clean, bed was very comfortable, and the view of the Lake (and pool) was fantastic! Restaurant was good, and we loved seeing the deer roam the grounds. iTrip Vacations was a breeze to work with, quick to respond to our questions, and left us a very nice welcome basket. We highly recommend.

Great View & Great Place!
Overall the view and the pool were our favorite there were a few things we were not happy about the sheets on the bed were dirty both on sofa bed and master room bed, found dead cockroaches by the bed, door in the shower didn’t work properly it was hard to open and close. If your wanting to find places to eat everything is an hour away from the lake.

Amazing Stay
My boyfriend and I spent 4 amazing days in this beautiful resort. The reservation offers 2 paddle boards, snorkeling and tennis gear. With easy access to the lake we paddled every day across the river and had picnics at Pace Bend Park.
At the end of the day we relaxed by the pool and spa. On both our morning and evening walks we were thrilled to see many deer also relaxing at the resort.
We plan to come back next year!

Enjoyed our Stay
We loved our stay here. We come annually and pick a different condo every time. Everything inside the condo was great! The bed was amazingly comfortable! We slept great! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. My only suggestion on improvement would be the patio. It had spider webs everywhere and needed to be cleaned and swept off. With that being said we enjoyed our stay and would book again if they updated the patio and cleaned it. For the price I expected the patio to be great!

Really enjoyed the stay. Beautiful location and everything well cared for. The Condo was very nice, clean, and bright. Great view of pool and lake. On the negative side - just one thing. The couch really needs to be replaced. Other than that - we were very pleased!

Great weekend on the lake
We thoroughly enjoyed this cute condo at The Island. Vela Villa was clean, beds comfortable, and iTrip was outstanding - their communication was great, offering quick responses to all of our questions. We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony, as the view of the lake was unbeatable. Can't wait to come back

Great Condo
Condo was perfect, just as pictures. The condo was clean, nicely decorated, and offered great views of Lake Travis from the patio! The condo was as close to one of the outdoor pools as you can get, which was great for the kids. We could watch them from the patio. Bed was very comfortable and iTrip Vacations was wonderful. The allowed us to check out late, and they left a very nice welcome basket that included wine, sparkling water, snack bars and macaroons from a local baker. We will definitely be back.

The condo was great. Very clean, comfortable beds, nicely decorated, well stocked, very nice patio with lake views. Check-in was easy and we loved watching all of deer roam the grounds in the evenings.

4 night stay
Lovely place to stay in a beautiful part of the state! Owners left us a welcome basket and were good at communicating any issues. Our unit was clean with all the amenities we needed. One of the outdoor hot tubs wasn’t working initially, but it was just a short walk to the other one and it was fixed after 1-2 days. We went running several times and often saw a small herd of deer grazing around the property. Would highly recommend.
