The feeling of the house is superb

Breakfast was great. Loved the omelet!
Nothing - it was amazing.

The facility was a great mix of historic and modern. We loved the old, vintage facility that remained true to its origins while still having the modern comforts. The staff were AMAZING. I would 100% stay again without hesitation. In a word of AirBnBs, this true bed and breakfast was refreshing.

Beautiful cottages and gardens. The main house was stunning inside and out. A few minutes walk from the supermarket and the rest of the main street. A nice twenty minute stroll from the beach.

Breakfast was excellent. Both buffet and hot breakfast.
Lighting in room was a little too dark.

1708 is a very special historical house so beautifully, impressively restored. The owner and management take great care to make everyone feel at home. Indeed, I felt very much at home, and more-so than other experiences. The breakfast was delicious, especially the French toast. 1708 is in the heart of Southhampton, so I loved the convenience. I look forward to returning!
I loved everything about it!

The rooms, setting and shared areas were lovely.
Some of the staff were wonderful but some were very young and distracted.

Absolutely beautiful property in authentic historic hamptons rooms. Location is 10/10, walking distance / a block away from shopping, dining and more. Absolutely so cozy and incredible staff.
Nothing!

Every part of our stay was brilliant. Beautiful period American home, breakfast was outstanding. Extremely friendly staff & would highly recommend.

The owners couldn't be more helpful , whether it was offering us mosquito spray for outside or on the final day actually running us and our cases to the train station . The heavens opened and a prolonged downpour meant there were no cabs/ ubers so they stepped up and got us to our train on time. Apart from that, the very comfortable rooms with ample Molton Brown shampoos etc and the incredible breakfast made the visit an absolute pleasure. They also offer cheese and wine free of charge in the afternoon . They really do try and make you feel at home.
Honestly I cant think of anything we didn't like.

It was so conveniently located. We loved the historical feel as well as the friendliness of all of the staff. Our bed was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was included and made to order.
There was a little noise from the people above us.

I had to leave early, so no breakfast for early risers

They’re nothing that I can say I didn’t like. Everything was perfect. Breakfast had everything you possibly want , hot breakfasts was prepared to order to our liking, the personal was attentive and helpful.

Stunning property. Our room was so spacious and comfortable. it’s in the perfect location, close to restaurants and shopping and the beach. Caroline and Sean were such lovely hosts and their afternoon drinks and snacks are so welcoming. John the chef made us a delicious breakfast each morning and there were so many wonderful options to choose from. We will definitely visit again. I left my toilet bag there and they very kindly mailed it to me and I got it the next day.

we travelled there in winter, such a cosy atmosphere! we were welcomed by Liz who showed us around and told us about the story of the B&B. Southampton is also a cute little village where you can stroll around and even walk to the beach (20min). highly recommend this place!

Gorgeous, historical property. Amazing complimentary breakfast and lovely afternoon wine. enjoyed the rockers on the porch.
Could use a mini fridge in rooms, but understand the historic home many not be able to handle it.

Cottage was lovely! So enjoyed spending time in the wine cellar and the history of the house.
Bed was a little hard for our liking and could have had softer pillows.
