Wir kommen gerne wieder

Wunderschöne Lage und alles vorhanden was man braucht. Als es geregnet hat ,waren unsere Kinde sehr vergnügt stundenlang im Aktivitätenraum .

Det var en vakker og ren leilighet! Utstyrt med alt du trenger . Perfekt for familier. Rolig område like ved Lyngdal og badesenter. Barna lekte ute og besøkte dyrene. Vi vil definitivt komme tilbake. Vertene var veldig hyggelige .

Leiligheten var veldig kald og det tok lang tid å varme opp. Det hadde vært fint om det var forvarmet på forhånd, tatt i betraktning at det var -9 grader ute og sent. Vi fikk en radiator og etter at den var oppvarmet var alt perfekt.

Great place to spend a relaxing time at the fjord

We stayed one week at Hausvikstranda in June 2023 and had a fantastic time. The apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped and we had a fabulous view from our balcony on 3rd floor. The hosts Christin and Bastian are very friendly and helpful. We loved the quietness and being surrounded by nature. We even saw a deer. The apartment is very close (walking distance) to the fjord where we could go SUP or rent a boat from Bastian. And most importantly, it is super child friendly with a playground, animals and an indoor play room. The girls loved it!

Beautiful location.

We arrived well outside of check-in and much later than expected. Mgmt waited up late at night for us but we just didn't get there. They were very accommodating and gave us a fabulous suite but did not leave bedding (sheets) which was confusing to me. It was seriously off-season, so maybe that played a part. They let us leave late the next day, which was great. I would definitely go back.

We liked size of the apartment, terrace,activity room, animals, etc. Host was very nice and helpfull! Quietness.

Superb

Nice, spacious, very clean. It’s a bit remote, but it has great facilities nearby (the harbour with motorboats, a small lake to swim,…) and there is a large playroom in case it’s raining. We also loved the little pigs that were roaming around freely.

Relaxed

There is a quiet atmosphere, no traffic at al. Good apartments with washing/drying machine. There are animals and you can rent a boat, the coastal area is amazing.

It is a bit remote, but we liked that. No shops around, but there is a cute little supermarket at 3km. The accommodation is well kept. For questions you have to call the manager. That works most of the time. There is no permanent staff at the reception.

A nice stay in a beautiful location

The location is fantastic and the availability of a games room is nice for a rainy day. Good access to hiking and Lyngdal and the Hausvik Fort nearby is spectacular to wander around and explore. The apartment is spacious and well stocked allowing a comfortable stay. Having our own kitchen to store groceries and prepare food is fantastic. The bathrooms were clean and tidy.

The apartment, outside of the bathrooms, could have been a bit cleaner. It would be nice to have a broom, vacuum or similar to sweep up during the stay. There was noise that would go in the evening and night near the larger bedroom and it would disturb our sleep (not sure what exactly was causing the noise...it sounded like a machine of some kind).

The area around the hotel is magnificent. Rooms are clean and spacious. You get all you need. Host is helpful and friendly.

Ok, but not as expected.

The animals and the trampoline.

Further from the sea than expected. Not possible to let the teen go alone. No kid friendly sea bathing opportunity.

Overall a pleasant stay.

Very near to the sea. Good touring sctivities nearby. Toys and activities for kids.

Even though they had a lot of boats, we could not hire one when we wanted.

Superb

The apartment has nice and clean bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the motor boat ride. Would like to go back again.
