Absolutely fine for a few nights, just not the best location for anyone without access to a hire car

Beautiful views of the sea Great price Cot provided for baby Private area which is very quiet Pool Kitchen had everything needed to make a meal Plenty of space in the apartment Shower was nice with lots of pressure Helpful information for visitors left for guests on buses and local points of interest

Smell from drains around general area Fan very noisy at night The location is quite difficult to get to without a hire car so we ended up spending a lot on taxis (this is not the owner’s fault) but worth noting because the bus service isn’t very regular.

Actually 2 days after we booked Quarto Vista Mar Rui the landlord Contacted us with many apologies as to stating that He made a mistake And that QVM was actually booked for those same nights as our booking. He actually straight up without even hearing back from us made us an offer to another apartment that he had which was a huge upgrade to QVM at no extra cost. He gave us another apartment that would normally be double the cost. Also we had a little confusion as how to get there from the airport and even though he was not available he had someone pick us up and drive us there this was pretty awesome. Very seldom does this sort of thing happen. The upgrade that he gave us was probably nicer than anything we have ever stayed in and we travel the whole world a lot. Everything that was performed for us was done by a man that in my opinion shows a lot of class and a lot of professionalism. thank you so much Rui

Friendly place with good facilities and incredible view

Nice property with a lovely garden area (plus pool) and an incredible view. The kitchen facilities are good and the internet works well enough to work online with Zoom etc. Getting to the place requires an intense uphill climb, but it’s worth it for the view, and the vicinity to the nearby town. I can easily recommend this place for solo travellers or couples

There wasn't anything to not like.

The place is simple but cute and very comfortable. The room includes shower room, kitchen and outside patio with swimming pool. We had the best sunrise and sunset view from there. Very quiet place. The owner is very kind and friendly. He welcomed us with a big smile and Madera wine to test and recommend the best restaurant in the town to go to. Also we could test fresh vegetables and fruits from his garden like avocado. Very pleasant stay. Definitely will be coming back. Thank you.

Amazing view over Camara de Lobos and the Ocean! Quiet and calm - and next to the steps down to Camara de Lobos.

The bed needs a new mattress though.

Amazing private willa

Amazing view around the city and ocean. Super cute clean room, swimming pool only for us ! Close to everywhere. Owner amazing, thank you for rum and cake :) was amazing time !
