The Upper Glen Guest House is the perfect place to stay while you play in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York! Located in the thriving tourist destination of Watkins Glen, NY, The Upper Glen is close to our famous Wine Trail, International Racetrack, Gorge, State Park, restaurants, shopping etc! Home is quaint and charming, the kitchen is beautiful and fully stocked (no food items), there are 3 comfortable bedrooms - queen, double and trundle that sleep up to 5 adults and children. The outdoor space is exceptional! The front porch is lovely, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee and taking a peek at the lake! The partially covered patio is spacious, private and ideal for relaxing or entertaining. There is ample parking and green space too! Wifi is free and linens are provided.

*The bedroom with the trundle bed (twin bed with second twin bed that pulls out from underneath) is in a bedroom where you must walk through another bedroom to get to.

We stayed for a weekend getaway. The house was cute, loved the porch. Kitchen, bedrooms were comfortable. Just what we needed.

Bedrooms were small, air conditioning was sub optimal, one bedroom was split into 2 and had little air conditioning, power was lost but that was due to a thunderstorm. Beds and pillows were a little uncomfortable and the beds can’t comfortably fit 2 adults

We loved our stay at this property in Watkins Glen. It was very well located for us to be able to walk downtown with our dog and get a good feeling for the area. We walked through the gorge, had a boat ride on the lake, went apple picking and saw the glass museum in Corning. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the back patio with the fire to keep us toasty. The hose is spacious and we are already considering coming back soon with our son and his girlfriend.

Lovely casual weekend away with my husband. Nice quiet neighborhood and close proximity to activities in Watkins Glenn. A spotless, cozy cottage with lots of artsy, holistic touches and everything we needed. Very old and quaint but with very new appliances . Lovely patio…. quiet and private. If I visit Watkins Glenn again, I will definitely stay here!

Such a nice, welcoming house! Everything was clean and well organized. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked and the linens were plush and plentiful. We especially enjoyed the covered patio area out back with the propane fire pit—it was the perfect way to end the day, sitting outside on the cool evenings, sipping wine from the many nearby wineries . The location was ideal—within walking distance to town and even to Watkins Glen State Park. This was our first trip to the area—we plan to return and hope to be able to stay in this home again!

Shawna does a fantastic job of making this home warm inviting and very clean. The location is walking distance to town and watkins state park! We loved being able to walk out and about. We were also able to bring our dog and that made the vacation even more enjoyable as he loved being outdoors and walking everywhere with us! THANK YOU Shawna!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this house. It was perfect for the four of us. The connected bedrooms helped my girls be close to us at night. The house was in the perfect location. It was close to the town and lake for visiting there. We loved how close it was to the national park and it was a short and easy trip to the raceway. Great house to rent!

Very nice, well appointed house with everything we could ask for! Quiet neighborhood with lots of nice, quiet streets to walk our dog and chat with neighbors. Conveniently located close to downtown, and central to many things to do. We would definitely stay here on future visits to the Finger Lakes!

Great outdoor space. The Kitchen is very spacious, and the host was kind to leave some coffee and tea selections. This was just the first part of our vacation, so the three nights was great for relaxation. The washer and Dryer were really convenient too. It's close to Watkins. Super great access to all the wineries we wanted to go to, from Watkins to many wineries around Keuka, even to Montezuma at the top Cayuga. If you are there on a Saturday, check out the Wind Mill, a great market that is only open on Saturdays. A great new place for us this trip was Tabora Farm & Winery, in Dundee.

We loved the large patio: We ate dinner at the high-top table & enjoyed sitting around the fire pit at night with a glass of wine. It was a great retreat at the end of the day. We had all we needed to make meals; the house is clean & well stocked; large kitchen table; and the bed is comfortable. It is convenient to Watkins Glen State Park & Seneca Lake. Upon arrival, there was music playing, the electric fireplace was on, & various lighting was lit to create a very welcoming vibe. Questions were answered in a timely manner. Great place to stay! We've never rented from VRBO before but weren't disappointed. The house had everything we needed. Having linens available was great! Even coffee was available. Loved the fire pit outside too. We used it all times of the day😁 Wish there were sidewalks to walk to town. Also for 2 couples, 2 bathrooms would have been better but hadn't thought about that when booking.

We were welcomed with music, electric fireplace, well lit house and air conditioning. Floors are slightly slanted but this quaint, cozy house is wonderful. The house is full of positive vibes. Outdoor patio was perfect for chilling out after a long day up at the track. This is the third house I’ve rented on this street. Nice quiet neighborhood.

Cozy home with unique charm. It has a well-stocked kitchen, including lots of spices! Feels like a well-loved lived-in home. The patio area is very lovely and a perfect place for dinner. The home does feel a bit smaller than we thought as all the rooms are on the first floor. Easy communication with the host.

The property was perfect for my stay with my mother and aunt. Location was close to the town of Watkins glen and the patio was a nice bonus to be able to have have morning coffee and evening cocktails. The house was warm, inviting and very comfortable.

We had a wonderful time staying here in Watkins Glen. The house was perfectly located making it easy to see everything we wanted to see during our stay. Very clean and well stocked. The host left a few things for us upon arrival (cold drinks, etc) which we very much appreciated! The patio was our favorite part & perfect for enjoying time together outside.

Lovely home in a convenient location close to the marina and main street of Watkins Glen. Very clean inside. We thoroughly enjoyed the view of the lake from the front porch while drinking our morning coffee as well as evenings spent around the fire table on the rear patio! An additional bonus was being able to bring our dog along which was far less expensive than paying for a petsitter or boarding.
