This condo is beautifully decorated in a tropical theme with soothing blues and greens this unit compliments the resort and its surroundings. Unit A617 has an open floor plan that leads to a private spacious balcony with outdoor furniture. The condo's kitchen is well appointed with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and beautifully tiled floors. All dishes, cooking utensils, and bake ware are provided to complete and serve meals. The dining area has a large table. This condo offers a unique twin bunk area for extra accommodations. The open living room houses a queen sofa bed, TV, and DVD player. There is a half bath located off of the main living area near the bunk room. The primary bedroom features a king bed, bath with stand up shower and garden tub, TV, and DVD player. The second bedroom includes a king bed, bath with stand up shower and garden tub, TV, and DVD player. There is a stackable washer/dryer included in the home for your convenience.

Absolutely loved this condo! Great view on the balcony and loved how convenient it is to the beach.
The beds are comfortable and the living room / dining room area was perfect for making dinner and having a night in.

This property has comfortable and spacious living areas with three bathrooms and a good balcony. The main attraction though is the pool area, which is great for kids (and adults as well). The main pool has an obstacles course for the older kids, as well as generous room for guests to enjoy the water without feeling crowded. A large waterfall is on the north side of the pool, and to the south is a “walk-in” entrance for the pool which lets young kids swim in shallow water that they can stand in. There is a second pool overlooking the first. It is much more adult friendly, and next to it is a kids area that has shallow water with a slide as well as a shaded play area. You also have beach access with plenty of showers. Overall this is a great place to choose for your vacation, especially if you have children! I hope this review helped!

Well stocked condo. All you need are groceries. Faces adjacent hotel and side view of miracle strip. Easily fits 8 using pull out sofa. Near elevator/parking lot/trash chute. Need deep cleaning of ceiling fans and vents.

This condo/apartment is beautiful! I loved my stay here but we always stay with Vacasa properties. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because I have bad allergies and I kept sneezing & coughing but on our last day I notice how dusty the vents were. My daughter also has asthma we left at 2 o’clock in the morning on our last day because she had an asthma attack I’m thinking it was from the dusty vents. This is the 1st Vacasa place that I’ve ever had a problem with.

We've been visiting the gulf coast for about 40 years, and Waterscape is the best place for young children that We've found. We've stayed in 5 different Waterscape units and A617 is one of our favorites.

Loved the amenities, but there are not nearly enough chairs at pool or beach for the amount of guests. Lifeguard told us people were lined up to claim chairs by 7am. It was frustrating to be told there were Resort rules and then they weren’t enforced- ie reserving pool chairs, blocking beach chairs with tents, etc. Overall we enjoyed the pools and beach with our group. The condo kitchen needs a few things replaced. We managed fine but I would recommend more coffee mugs in a larger size, fixing the dishwasher wheels so it doesn’t pop off every time you open it, and replacing the skillets. Tons of dishes and cutlery, a coffee maker and blender and toaster were nice to use. The washer and dryer are fantastic, huge size, and we really appreciated the shelves for storing things. There are plenty of towel racks in the main bathrooms, which was really nice. The resort is big, and it can be a long walk to the parking so keep in mind if traveling with anyone who may not be able to go far. There is plenty of parking and the front desk staff were wonderful every time we talked to them.

Waterscape exceeded our expectations. It was awesome for the kids and very family friendly. The free beach chairs and umbrella were a pleasant surprise. Cannot recommend this property or room enough. Super clean and my wife commented how much she loved the furniture. Big TV was awesome too.

The decor was beautiful, very roomy, with fully furnished cabinets in kitchen. "Starter kits" with toiletry and kitchen/laundry soaps worked for the whole stay as well.
The ONLY complaints would be some cleanliness issues and general maintenance issues. The showers were not completely clean, with mold in the corners and on the drains, and the shower heads were clogged. Also the shower handle was very difficult to turn. I suspect that there is calcium build up or it was just tightened to tight.
The toilet also had issues, overflowing while we were out to dinner one night. The rubber stopper had come lose and caused the water to keep filling in the bowl. When I tried to turn the water off, the half knob (half had already been broken off) broke off of I was not able to turn it off, so I had to prop the float up until maintenance was able to be contacted by the security guards to come fix it. The bed was extremely comfortable, but the sheets had some staining. The ice dispenser kept freezing up, so we just got had directly from the ice box. It looked like someone attempted to use a tide pod in the washer that takes liquid only, so there were remanence of the gel getting into the wash. These issues sounds major, but were in and of themselves minor. I just wish there were someone to contact directly about them to correct while we were there. We will most likely return in the future..

Lovely Condo
Loved everything about this bright, beachy condo! It was clean and close to the elevators down to the pool. The washer and dryer have been replaced since the photos were taken and the full size units were a pleasant (and much utilized) surprise. Beds are quite firm, but that's my preference so no complaints here. Bathrooms are spacious with large showers. Balcony had nice seating options with a couple of different views of the water. Most of the view is of the hotels next door, but not a big deal. Who really spends that much time on the balcony ...? Would absolutely recommend and look forward to coming back.

Unit was pretty well equipped and everything worked. We loved that both bedrooms had walk-in showers. The closet doors were the biggest hassle. The closet openings and door track were design for folding doors, but the doors were flat, non-folding, suspended only from the top. They were always in the way.

This was my first time using VRBO so I was a little skeptical in the beginning. However, this property was great. I loved the location and how kid friendly it was. It was super easy to get into Destin and very fast too. The prepaid beach rentals came in very handy. I would definitely book this location again.
