Pete and his colleagues were very friendly and nice. We loved the decor, so interesting! The place was spacious and conveniently located.

I absolutely loved the time we spent in this rental. We were looking for something very last minute so that we could celebrate a night away for our anniversary, and I wasn't sure what to expect. We found the accommodations to be extremely comfortable and clean, and we enjoyed checking out the antiques within the room. Because I wasn't familiar with the area, I wasn't sure if being located above the store would feel like we were being intrusive if we were coming and going, etc. but as it turns out, we honestly felt like we were in our own quiet getaway and you would never know that there was a store beneath us. When we were checking out, we stopped into the store below and had a great deal of fun visiting with the owners and browsing. There was no feeling of pressure to buy, just super friendly folk who were happy to help if there was something in particular you were looking for. The prices were very reasonable, and they offered a discount to those who were from the rental, so that was a nice perk, too. I would definitely recommend this rental, especially because of the people who rented to us. They were great!

We had a great time in Marine City. Pete’s place is cute and comfortable and we would stay there again.

This is an excellent place to stay! The proprietor is awesome, the property is spotless, and it couldn’t be more conveniently located. The furniture is charming, and pieces are for sale. There is something interesting no matter where you look. The bed is extra-comfy too!

I only stayed at this property for a short period of time since I got in late and had to take off very early. However, the property is one I’ll never forget. The owner was very helpful and thorough in their messaging. I only wish I had more time to browse the many antiques that were for sale throughout the building!

From beginning to end Pete the owner was a pleasure to communicate with. He is very friendly and answered all of my questions promptly. Pete greeted me and showed me around the rental. The location of the rental is in a great place that is very easy to find, close to the lake, close to resturants and shopping. The property is located right above Pete's vintage store which was a treat in itself. The rental was clean cozy yet very spacious at the same time. There is comfortable furniture and beds for a good nights sleep. The weather was hot but the air conditioners kept the place at a comfortable temperature. The full kitchen is nice for cooking meals and the full bathroom was roomy and stocked with needed supplies. I loved the fact that you could shop right within your rental because most items in the rental are for sale. The rental comes with it's own parking space as well which made unpacking easy. The rental has a separate entry from the store which made coming and going easy and private. Checking out was a breeze. I truly enjoyed the neighborhood and the rental. I'm sure I'll be back many times. Thanks again Pete for the awesome stay!!
