The Savannah Beach & Racquet Club is a gated bay front complex located on the quiet North end of Tybee Island. The Bay is where the Savannah River meets the Atlantic Ocean. There is a wonderful beach area just steps from the condo. This area of the beach is known to be very family friendly as it is less crowded. The location is great for dolphin watching, watching large ship containers travel into savannah port. If you enjoy walking along the beach, you can walk all the way to the South end of the Island, without leaving the sand. The Beach & Racquet Club is a great alternative to staying at a hotel room on the island. Enjoy more space and amenities like fully equipped kitchens, living room with cable TV, private balconies, tennis courts, and pool. All of the one-bedroom condos share use of a 14'x20' pool and 10"x10' kiddie pool. A&B building condos have coin-operate laundry on each floor. There is parking for 1 vehicle only, NO GOLF CARTS, TRAILERS, BOATS, JET SKI'S or OVERSIZE VEHICLES ALLOWED.

One bedroom, one bath bay front unit. 3rd floor unit overlooking pool and beach.

Stays longer then 30 days, October - March, there is additional cleaning fee. Please inquire for details on pricing.

We sat and watched the dolphins play as we relaxed on the patio! The pool is super nice and the beach was right there at us! The place was very accommodating for our needs! We love it and will definitely be back!

Property was easily accessible to beach and has a nice view of boats and wildlife from the room in the evenings. Pool was nice, but could use some updates as tiles are missing around edges. Halls to rooms are dark. Could use lighter colors instead of gray.

Loved it, the appliances are outdated , but honestly we were there for relaxation so who cares! Only downfall for us was being on the 3rd floor , the a/c units are on the roof , in the unit we were in it made for terrible sleeping, and the screen door was broken and not repaired during our stay, (broken before us and reported by us immediately on check in) then there was the morning we decided to go out for a sunrise walk, and found someone sleeping on the 3rd floor stairwell opening with all of his belongings……. Other than that it was a great place

This place worked great for my daughter and me. The cleanliness left a little to be desired - sheets weren’t clean, small stuck-on bits of food in the kitchen sink, and someone else’s hair left in the shower when we arrived. Overall, not terrible though.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean. While you can walk to the beach you will have VERY STEEP flight stairs to get down to it. During high tide, there is NO beach! This unit has only one TV in the living area. There is NOT a TV in the bedroom. There is an elevator but it is at the other end of the building.

Great location, very nice, clean, everything you needed. Enjoyed watching the Dolphins and the Shrimp Boats in the evening. Was on the 3rd floor closest to the beach. Only draw back was elevator is on other end of the building so you either had to climb the stairs or come from the other end of the building with your luggage. Other than that it is an awesome place to stay.

No frills but a great spot close to the beach. We ended up renting bikes and didn’t have to use our car once. Great spot just to crash after a long day out on the beach and a fun evening at Huc-A-Poos.

Just needed a day on the ocean

It ended up being super cold so we couldn’t do the pool, but instead we walked to the boutique shops up the road and got kites. The condo was clean and just what we needed for the night. Great view of the pool and beach and my 5 year old liked sleeping on the built in bunk beds. The Wi-Fi was fast and I was able to get some work done after she went to sleep. This place was just what we needed. Would stay here again.

Everything that many of the reviews said about this property are very true; If you are looking for a place to just get away from it all, than you may appreciate the peacefulness of this Condo: affordable,simple,peaceful. Every Morning there was a caretaker by the name of Debbie that went around and wiped all the pool tables off; bathrooms were always clean. Property at the time of our visit was really cared for everyday. Staff was kind and friendly. My wife and I will be back. Thank you all for a very needed peaceful break and for making our stay grand. Sincerely, Max

Everything was very simple and it was easy to communicate with the property management company. The A/C went out on the first night and they were able send someone out the next day to fix it. After that, everything was great and ideal for our family vacation.

Overall this was a nice place: great location on the beach, close to great food and activities. Floors didn't seem clean when we arrived so I swept and found a piece of broken glass under the couch. It was difficult to keep the sand in check while we were there so I understand the gritty feel of the floor but cleaning staff could do a bit better at cleaning between guests. Linens were very thin for the pullout sofa but my teenagers managed. Providing an extra set of towels would be nice so we didn't have to do laundry quite as often.

My friend and I went on a Moms getaway. This condo was clean and had an amazing view. Dolphins would come up close to the stairs going out to the beach during the sunset. It was amazing. There were two little beds in between walls. I don’t know how could sleep on those, so small. Overall, would stay again and recommend if I return to Tybee.

We arrived after office hours. Was a very easy set up. The unit was clean. Just might remind housekeeping to sweep under EVERYTHING. We were able to view some amazing sunsets from our balcony. Very friendly atmosphere. The beach was clean and quiet. The only downfall...we didn’t take into consideration, there wasn’t an elevator. We stayed on the 3rd floor and due to past illness and/or knee problems the climb was hard for some of us.

Basic condo, felt the deposit or insurance purchase was an extra expense not needed. We have stayed in three different condos in the same place, and this was the first one through a property management company. It met all our basic needs and the minor problems we had were communicated to the property manager, that were very easy fixes for them and I hope they take care of them. We love Tybee and had a great time.
