About this apartment rental
You have just found a hidden gem! Burgess Creek Townhomes 206, by Mountain Vacation Lodging, offers a rare combination of high end quality, designer style, fair prices, a good location, and a plentiful and flexible bed situation. There are vaulted ceilings in nearly every room, which adds to the very pleasant and spacious feel of the place. You'll love coming home to this condo after a day out and about. The condo part of a small development that is conveniently located between the Steamboat Ski Resort's Gondola Square base area and the base of the Thunderhead Express chairlift. Every spring, the snow up on the ski mountain melts Burgess Creek flows right past this condo. Its a very nice place with a peaceful setting.
In 2019, this condo was beautifully and thoroughly renovated. From the floors to the ceilings, counters and walls, and everything in between, no detail was overlooked. In the living room, you'll find a matching leather sofa and love seat plus a couple of very comfy armchairs. This area has vaulted ceilings , a massive wall mounted HDTV, balcony access, and a wood burning fireplace surrounded by beautiful stone. This is a nice place to relax with friends and family. The main living area is an open concept, so the vaulted ceilings extend past the fireplace to the dining area, which seats 6 to 8 in style. The dining area is open to the kitchen, with a nice bar area that makes meal service and clean up easy. The kitchen is fully equipped and beautifully done. Beyond the granite counters and stainless steel appliances, it features a tin back-splash, upscale two-tone cabinetry, open shelving with custom lighting, and even a wine fridge to complement the regular fridge. A higher end wood look tile extends from the kitchen into the dining area and hallways. The balcony off the living room overlooks Burgess Creek. Guests in spring and summer will really enjoy this space, and may spot moose which are common in the area, or other wildlife.
The condo has 3 big bedrooms and 3 bathrooms to match. On the main level, you'll find two of the bedrooms. The first has a Queen bed, celing fan, and high vaulted ceilings. This bedroom also has a loft area with a Twin bed and very sturdy custom ladder, railing, and gate. This room is ideal for 1, 2 or 3 people. It's also a true master suite, with its own private bathroom. Marble counter tops and tile, a vessel sink, open cabinetry, clear glass, and chrome finishes give the bathroom a very clean, modern look. The second main level bedroom has a Queen over Queen bunk bed that defines sturdy craftsmanship and offers comfy bedding for up to 4 people. Such a big bed either wouldn't fit or would dominate most rooms, but it is well suited to this room's ample height and size. There is a bathroom for this bedroom, just across the hall, and like the others, it has no shortage of style or quality.
The entire upstairs level is one large master suite. At one end, a 4-post King bed rests under a ceiling fan. On the other is a desk for those who might have a little work, or homework, to get done. In between is a 2-Twin daybed with trundle. This room also has a wall mounted HDTV and vaulted ceilings. An extra wide barn door separates the bedroom area from the bathroom and walk in closet. This bathroom takes the cake. Sure it has dual vessel sinks on a floating granite counter, custom tile and great lighting, but why stop there. The property owners got creative and made good use of the bathrooms extra size. They used a glass door to "wall off" one end of the bathroom, added a trench drain, and created a very cool and unique multi headed shower and bathtub area. Please note, this upstairs master suite has open "windows" that overlook the living and dining area below. They are equipped with artistic iron partitions and blackout shades for safety and visual privacy, but some sound may still travel between these rooms.
There's a lot of things to like about this property. The finishes and furnishings are of a consistently high quality. The are multiple beds in all 3 bedrooms, making this property ideal for all sorts of groups. 3 couples? Everyone has a Queen or larger. 7 singles? Everyone has their own individual bed. In both scenarios, no one needs to sleep in the living room. The condo includes a private heated garage plus one additional reserved covered spot, and the complex also has some shared overflow parking. 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive is recommended for ski season visitors. If you will have a trailer, please contact us before booking to discuss your options. In any season, having one or more vehicles is recommended, for getting around quickly and conveniently.
Please note, this property and homeowners association has a strict policies limiting occupancy to 8, and disallowing pets for non-owners. The exterior of the property is equipped with a video camera, for your security and to ensure that the HOA rules are not violated. The camera does not intrude on privacy, only points away from the exterior.

Unit in an upgrade staus, certainly not a represented on the marketing site. Lack of air conditioning was an issue with our group.
Owner did contact me.

This place was wonderful! It accommodated everyone and definitely gave us space. I appreciate the owners thought of everything such as handsoap for every bathroom to plenty of Kleenex and toilet paper. Beautiful place. Thank you!

Great ski trip, close to resort. We drove ourself to slopes every day that was fine for us. Our Expedition did not fit in heated garage. The other parking space is covered and close

We had our annual fishing weekend, and this is the best place we have stayed in the area. We will be back!

We live in Denver and need a warm and comfortable place to stay during our annual mountain biking weekend. This is the second year in a row we have stayed in this beautiful, cozy and comfortable condo. It is spacious and decorated beautifully with all the amenities you need. We love hanging out on the patio overlooking the river after a long bike ride. The beds were very comfortable, and there were plenty of towels for everyone. We call it our home-away-from-home and look forward to our visit next year.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is spacious and very comfortable and was a perfect place for our kids and friends to visit. The updates make all the difference. The beds are very very comfy. Overall the place was perfect for our family and friends to relax, hang out and enjoy the skiing and snowboarding. Recommendations: it can feel dark - better lighting suggested; suggest an inventory of kitchen utensils and sharper knives.

We had a great time in Steamboat and at this townhouse. It had everything we needed, comfortable, furnished well, and a home like feel. The beds are all very comfortable and multiple options for sleeping arrangements. I had reached out to the contact about a broken door after our arrival and not only did he respond but the owner also called to acknowledge and apologize, which, although wasn't necessary, was a very kind gesture to make sure everything was okay. The only issue my husband had was the set up of the mounted TV in the master wasn't 100% viewable from the far side of the bed due to the post from the bed. Other than that, great, convenient location, and the neighbors are also very friendly! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Condo was excellent in every way. Comfortable, clean, and a truly compelling interior with a great vibe. Very happy and would not hesitate to stay there again.

The condo and support staff were great. We were underwhelmed by a lack of some kitchen items vital to our needs, namely: a large fry pan for morning eggs, a coffee maker (they only had a Keurig) and no blender (my teenagers drink shakes). I notified the agency and the owner had no interest in accommodating our request. So, I went to Walmart and bought a coffee maker and blender and left at the condo. I don’t drink Keurig coffee as we get so excited to buy Big Iron when we visit as it is a local coffee maker. Surely in such a large rental agency, someone could have let us use a blender or a coffee maker. Lastly, the firewood was not firewood; it was a collection of tree branches from the local forest which were not cured and would not burn. At Walmart, I also had to buy a box of starter logs and two bundles of our own firewood as a roaring fire is part of the snow outside charm. Other than the kitchen and firewood, it was great. Accommodations, bedding, location and everything was excellent but their lacks of basic asks took this from a 5 star down to a 3.5 in my mind.

We stayed here in June and loved hearing the sound of the creek out the window and on the nice-sized patio. Rooms were spacious and well-appointed. Kitchen was great and we used it daily. Walking distance to a hiking trail and short drive to ski area. Would definitely recommend.

Just Right
It was set up just right with everything you need. Plenty of space for my family of 6. Nicely updated. Just a 5 minute drive to the gondola. It felt like home and that made it a truly awesome vacation.

Really happy with the place overall
First the negatives:
- There was no parking pass as the instructions, and prop mgr never called back. No tickets, but spent the entire time if/when it would happen. (And Steamboat extended parking sux)
- Being on mountain and having to drive to the parking areas was a drag, but not that big a deal; never a lack of parking
- The master bdrm being open to living space below was quirky; just made it hard to make coffee in the morning w/o waking my wife up
The positives:
- It really is a great location with easy access to the mountain and services
- The place was clean, well setup, plenty of beds/baths/space, most staple items (e.g., salt, pepper, oil, etc.) were there, plenty of linens
- Neighbors are full-time residents and great to talk to
- Good value

Great rental in a great location
We had a full house and this rental was a great size for everyone to have plenty of space and privacy. Just 5 minutes from the base of the slopes and 10 to grocery stores, etc. Truly enjoyed our time in Steamboat thanks to this property.

Wonderful place for family!
What a great place for our family to stay while on vacation! Plenty of room to spread out and relax, and spend our evenings unwinding after wearing ourselves out on the slopes and other planned activities. The fireplace was wonderful and cozy, and the grill and kitchen were a blessing as we ate most of our evening meals in. Location was also perfect and close to everything we needed or wanted to do. Definitely would stay again and recommend!

Great for a group of people. Nice location, need some help with google maps to find the right unit. Had all the amenities you are looking for.

Needs some extras
Property binder was missing, usually lots of valuable information in here that we didn’t have. Didn’t have parking passes. Cars w/ storage on top cannot fit in garage or covered parking - good to note. Fireplace was wonderful and appreciate the wood, but no paper, starters, lighters or fireplace tools. Light above sink is broken. Lazy Susan cupboard is broken. Could use a blender in kitchen. We did enjoy our stay, just sharing these remarks for owner and/or future occupants.

Convient location for Steamboat skiing
3 BR, 3 full baths. 2 BR have attached baths. Upstairs BR is open to the living area, so heavy sleepers should go there. Place is reasonabye well equipped, and comes with 2 parking spaces. Any more vehicles must try for limited overflow parking. Has a wood stove insert in the fireplace which takes some effort to get going.

Comfortable and well-appointed
This unit is very nicely decorated and furnished, comfortably accommodated 5 adult men. Kitchen had all the utensils etc needed. Bathrooms were plenty large. Heated private garage is a plus. Very quick drive to the base where there was ample and convenient (paid) parking. Would definitely look to stay here again next time at Steamboat.

Comfortable stay
Nice condo that has been beautifully decorated. Nice location with sounds of a river out the window (even with low water we could hear it trickling by out the living room door and master bedroom window.) Comfortable beds (not too soft or firm), but no flat sheets. This is strange and we trusted the duvets were washed. We like to have a flat sheet for comfort and to assure clean bedding. Decent kitchen equipment, but no measuring spoons. Nice dining table and views of trees in August. There is a busy road that can be noisy at times. It is hidden by trees. The river runs between the condo and road. At night there were cool breezes that kept the condo cool. We enjoyed the windows open. A garage is handy. You can not get into the condo directly from it, but I’m sure in the winter it is nice to have. A lovely living area with leather sofa set. A nice place to gather and talk or watch a movie. Very comfortable and enjoyable place to come back to after a long day hiking!

Great townhouse
The townhouse was immaculate and very comfortable for our family of five. It’s completely remodeled and has a very nice layout. Only thing we didn’t like was there were no top sheets on any of the beds (the duvet covers were washed and clean though), But I had a hard time sleeping and it can get hot, so the duvet was too much. Personal preference I suppose. I also felt the place was perfect during this COVID time bc the complex isn’t crowded, you have your own door right to the unit, and there aren’t any community amenities to tempt our teens.
