This home has been remodeled inside and out this last year. Great for a family the home sleeps 6. Three bedrooms two full baths. Queen Master Bedroom with on-suite, Full-Size Bedroom and Twin Bedroom with two twin beds. Linens provided on all beds along with bath towels, beach towels, and kitchen towels. Hardwood floors throughout the home. Granite countertops in the kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Home is fully equipped with everything you need kurig coffee pot and Cuisinart.drop coffee pot, including a stainless very clean gas grill outside along with beach chairs and beach toys everything a family needs for a great beach vacation. This home is in a very quiet residential neighborhood. Easy walk/ride to the beach or take a walk on the multi-use path along with the sound for beautiful views of the sunset. The sound offers amazing views with free public boat access and several public gazebos. The wrap-around deck is perfect for morning coffee and evening meals.

My children and I had a lovely stay! The location is central to so many shops and public beach accceses. Everything was walkable or bike able. We even found parking on the busiest Saturday at the public beach. Our hosts had all the amenities like bikes and cornhole. It was a wonderful weekend. Can’t wait to return.

We had a great stay here at Swept Away One! Jen was very friendly and gave us a great list of restaurant recommendations. It was nice to try some new places along with our usual favorites! The house was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed sipping a glass of wine each evening in the rocking chairs on the covered porch. The location was convenient with a short drive to the beach and a short walk to watch the beautiful sunset on the sound. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this property. The rental was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal, close to key attractions and amenities, making it easy to explore the area. The host was incredibly helpful and friendly, always available to assist with any questions or needs we had. We highly recommend this rental and would gladly stay here again.

Cute remodeled house. It was equipped with nice kitchen appliances, dishes and cleaning supplies. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond with any questions or issues. Property is only about 1 mile from the beach. Easy access to public parking. We had an amazing vacation.

The location was great for our first time in the OBX. The neighborhood was quiet and allowed for a lot of relaxed time. The location also allowed easy access to anywhere within the OBX. The place was clean, and everything was accessible. There were items available, like beach chairs and toys for the kids, that I don't recall being in the listing, but definitely minimized the need to pack additional things.

This place is exactly how it is portrayed in pictures, but even better. The house is SO clean. The owners go above and beyond to make sure the stay is everything you want and more. Added bonus is they provide everything you need for a wonderful stay (linens and towels). The owner stayed in communication throughout our stay and gave us suggestions of restaurants, things to do, and to check in to see if we needed anything. They also went above and beyond and made sure we had five bikes that were functioning and available for us to use. This place is located in a wonderful location, close to the ocean and bay side. We spent most of our days at the ocean side and at night we took the bikes on the bike trail on the bay side. The sunsets were incredible and a must to see. We can't thank the owners enough for a wonderful stay. We created so many memories and will definitely be back! Thank you again.

Wonderful place to stay! When we arrived, everything was spotless and there were enough towels and pillows for all. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook a meal. Beach towels and chairs, toys and a grill are provided as well which was very helpful. The property owners are fantastic and responsive. The location is a short drive to the beach and right near grocery stores, gas stations- very convenient location.

This property was perfect for our party of four, with 3 bedrooms and two baths. It was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch after watching the sunset (just a short walk away). We were thankful to have linens and beach chairs provided. Jenniffer and Joe were attentive and available to answer any of our questions and assist us in having the perfect vacation. They went above and beyond by exemplifying southern hospitality! We had a wonderful stay!

We needed a house in a pinch due to our other plans being cancelled last minute. Jenniffer was super responsive and helped me book the house within a matter of minutes...a day before our arrival! She saved our family vacation! The house was great and just what we needed. In a quiet neighborhood, a short walk to the sound, and a short drive to the beach. The house had everything we needed--and if we needed something, Jenniffer was more than willing to accommodate. Only great things to say about the house, and our hosts. Can't wait to stay again!

This was our first time in Outer Banks and the owner made it extra easy! First off the house is super clean and very cozy! It had exactly what we needed for family on vacation. Jenn the owner provided great recommendations on not only what to do but where to eat and she was SPOT ON EVERY TIME! I highly recommend renting from this owner....they were extremely attentive.

My family and I just returned from a week stay at this property and have nothing but good things to say! Jenniffer (the main host) was great in communicating with us about recommendations for the area and any questions we had! The house itself was spacious and worked well for my family of 6. We often enjoyed using the bikes to explore the sound and walked around often as the house is in a great neighborhood! The beach was a short 5 min drive and a grocery store was only a few blocks away. Overall, we loved our stay and were thrilled with the house!!

Actually stayed in owners other house, switching process was easy due to communication with owner. House in quiet residential area away from tourist areas, yet close and convenient to everything. Jenniffer provided tons of suggestions on activities. House was as advertised and very clean. No complaints. Would rent again without question.

Swept Away 1 was an amazing place to stay. Very clean house and property in a quiet neighborhood. Jennifer and Joe live across the street and Jennifer welcomed us when we arrived. We had a problem with the TV one day and their son came over right away to fix the issue. I would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at Swept Away during our Spring Break vacation. The house was well equipped and had everything our family of 4 needed. The property is located in a quiet and safe residential neighborhood. The home looks to be recently renovated and all the furnishings, dishes, linens, etc. were in excellent shape. I really loved the fact that beach chairs and beach towels were provided as this allowed me to pack fewer items (less work for Mom!). There is also a washer and dryer, should you need to run a load of laundry partway through the week. The only slight negative I can think of was that the listing mentioned that there would be a Queen bed in the MBR, but we were pretty sure that was a Full bed. One other bedroom also had a Full bed, while the 3rd one had two Twins. The owners of the home were super nice and responsive and made the check-in and check-out process very easy, which we greatly appreciated. We enjoyed watching the sunset on the Sound side by the public dock near Bay Dr and Dock St, a short walk from the house. The nearby ocean front beaches are lovely as well and several streets off of Rt. 12 have public access and parallel parking for about 10-15 cars each. Some of the more memorable attractions during our week included the Wright Brothers memorial and the Bodie Island lighthouse. My teens enjoyed Jurassic Putt mini golf and lunch at Miller’s Waterfront restaurant, which are side by side in Nags Head. If you enjoy shopping, there are several cute shops in Duck, NC and there is also a small outlet mall in Nags Head. There are numerous places to eat off of Rt. 158 and Rt. 12—not all of them are open M-F, so if you’re traveling off season, be sure to check hours online, or call ahead.
