Window shades blocked 90% of outside light at night but not 100%

Very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The service was excellent, definitely planning to stay more next time. The staff was super nice and clean.

Not much food options coz we don't eat meat. Other than that awesome place Kroger near to the hotel convenient.

Location of the facilities, cleanliness of the room ******Manager offered us to come back and stay for free because of this experience we just went back first weekend in April and had a wonderful stay. He stated he just took over this hotel not long ago and was making some changes. We had the best time it was a complete success. Thanks for having us back to make better memories.****** changed rating from 1 to 6

I called the day before to make sure our room had a bath tub because I had my daughters with me 6 year olds to take a bath. Front desk assured me yes we had a bathtub the day before we arrived on the phone. We got there we went straight down to the pool after unloading the cart in our room. We got there at approximately 330pm. My daughters where super excited about staying over night before their photo shoot at 10am the next day. We got to the pool about 5pm they had a kids pool party happening with about 8 kids 2 was little maybe 2/3 years old and several of the kids was older. Most of the kids was not staying at the hotel because they was leaving with wet heads with their coats on and changed into regular clothes in the pool bathroom. one little boy about 3 or so was getting out and told an adult with the party he had to use the bathroom he was holding himself and she took off his life vest and said yelled at him hurry up she didn't even get up to let the little boy in the bathroom he has to hold the door himself and he was odviously having trouble. My daughters only got to swim for maybe 15-20 minutes and I was getting ready to get in the pool and looked down and there was a dark poop on the bottom of the pool. My sister approached the desk and told them their was a object that looked like poop on the bottom of the pool. He said he would be down to pool to check it out we waited for awhile went and got food realized our room didn't have a tub when we got back from getting food we had to move rooms I explained to him I called the day before and was told yes this room had a tub. Now it was about 530 so we called the front desk to see if pool had been cleaned and reopened he said nothing could be done people was still swimming he couldn't make them get out he had to wait till pool was empty to get object out and clean. So we eat and about 630-7 went down to talk to him and we walked by the pool still people in the pool.

clean, privacy, great hosts and hostesses. the hospitality is wonderful here. one of my favorite places to stay.

The hotel was very clean and appeared to be new. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were very nice and helpful.

There was nothing that I didn’t like.

The bre4akfast was delicious. We also truly enjoyed the beef stew dinner on Wednesday evening. The staff was exceptionally kind and pleasant!

Nothing could have been better. We had an exceptional stay. We are looking forward to our next trip to Moundsville, and will definitely stay at the Holiday Inn Express.

Very spacious accommodations. The pool and hot tub were awesome. And the breakfast was very good.

Couldn't find exhaust fan for bathroom
