The location was excellent, in the centre of the village close to the harbour. Parking was straightforward, unloading the car in the short term car park and then parking, free of charge, in the main car park. There are a couple of steps into the property - more of an issue for wheelchair users, not a problem for a pram. The top floor has restricted height on the stairs but no problem for us to get up to remind the children they were supposed to be going to sleep.
There is a main bathroom on the 1st floor with a toilet, sink, bath and a separate shower cubicle. There is also a separate WC and sink. The master on this floor also has a toilet, shower and sink. As we stayed in February, we were pleased to note the heating was very effective.
The kitchen was well equipped. The living/dining room full of good quality furnishings. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms spacious.
We had a very comfortable stay though the weather was not great. We stayed in order to visit the Eden Project. We would highly recommend the property.
I would have to be really picky to find something we didn't like but these reviews seem to force comment....I am sure some people may not like having to unload the car 20 yards away and park a 5 minute walk away. If you are one of those people, I suggest you don't book to stay in a village in Cornwall; you probably want a Premier Inn with a prebooked parking spot next to the door!
