About this house rental

This 3-level cabin sits on the property of YMCA Camp Pepin, just outside of Stockholm, Wisconsin. The Lodge is located just 100 yards across a maintained lawn to the shores of Lake Pepin, where you can enjoy your morning coffee with your toes in the sand and end your evening with a lakeside bonfire. Guests of the Lodge also have access to the camp's waterfront amenities, such as stand-up paddleboards, kayaks and canoes (at no additional cost).
The Lodge's main floor has a small kitchen and a dining area with a gas fireplace. Just off the dining area are both a beautiful sunroom and a large deck. A hallway leads to 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. A loft above the main floor acts as an additional sleeping area with five single beds.
The Lodge's lower level has a comfy living area with 2 sofas and a day bed, a small table and chairs and a gas fireplace. A bunk room is set up to sleep an additional 7 people, and there are 2 full bathrooms. The lower level walks out onto a concrete patio shaded by the pine trees.
Our many guests over the years have commented that their retreats are always cozy and memorable, no matter the time of year. The Lodge is set up in a way that brings people together and also gives you room to find your own space to restore. The beach at sunset, walking the trails in our woods, and the community on Deer Island are truly special. If you like to bike, the Great River Road is right out your door with a nice shoulder, rolling hills, and spectacular views...and lots of great stops to refuel!

We had the best time. Kids and grandkids were in the water most of the day, at breaks we played games, celebrated birthdays, it was beautiful weather for my Iron Man son to practice on his bike too. And Eric and his wife are so very nice, thanks Eric. Your the best. We also had so much fun telling stories around the campfire and eating s’mores. Great Vacation at a great cost! Building memories, that’s what it’s all about. Thanks too for Granddaughter Ruby and Emir for coming. Wonderful to see them. Next year, same time, same place, same fun, ( maybe more)

We had the best time, so much to do like, at the beach, all kinds of fun including outdoor and indoor games. Space for everyone to sit and eat together. Kitchen has everything you need to cook with. Eric is the BEST. So helpful, friendly, and easy to get ahold of. We love this place, my granddaughter said it best, “ grandma, can we come back next year? Yes! Yes! Yes! Thanks Eric, Warmly, The Winborn Crew!

My family had a wonderful time here. Having direct access to the water to use their kayaks, canoes, paddle boards was perfect! My family also enjoyed the frisbee golf course and basketball court. A few family members did the zip line as well! There was more than enough beds to accommodate our group of 17. Erik is a great host! We would definitely book this space again. Thank you!

We loved the place but would like more or clean towels for kitchen, oven is broken. Bathroom needs to be cleaner. Really except for the oven everything was pretty wonderful, you were so helpful and nice. Thank Eric! We did take the red boat out , were we suppose too? So sorry if we we not to use it. Great “camping” get away

Great “camping” get away

This is a perfect location to go to camp without camping. We went with 6 adults and 9 kids (7-15). We all had a great time. We loved the space and access to sports, water fun and more. Nice to have a kitchen and space to spread out and enjoy. Enjoyed hiking and exploring red wing and lake city. Stockholm and pepin are so charming. This is a great and simple place to enjoy the people you love and nature all at once. It’s like going to summer camp!

What an awesome view! The Lodge was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for our large group to spread out. There is a bunk room in the lower level with three bunk beds. One of them the lower bunk is a double bed. There is also a family room on the lower level that has two couches you could sleep on and a twin bed. Also an industrial refrigerator for your use. There are also two bathrooms on the lower level. The main floor has the kitchen that is well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. The dining room has a large table for everyone to enjoy dinner together. There is another family room on the main floor. Also two bedroom. One has a twin bed and the other had a double bed which was very comfortable. Between the two bedrooms is a bathroom with shower. Towels were provided. Off the dining room there are stairs going up to the loft area that has two bunks and a twin bed. Outside there are picnic tables, a gas grill, fire pit (you can purchase wood), benches around the fire pit, and some hanging chairs under the porch area. There are many yard games for your use including Gaga ball, nine square, carpet ball and badminton. Down at the beach they have kayaks, canoes and stand up paddle boards for your use. We enjoyed interacting with other campers ( from a distance of course)but this cabin is secluded. The staff is wonderful and so helpful with all our questions and needs as this was our first time renting a cabin for family time. A big thank you to Martha!

Truly enjoyed our stay and the description of the rental property was very accurate. In our group we had children that ranged in age from 3-17 years old and there was something for everyone to do...from kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing, fishing, basketball or just relaxing. Martha was very helpful and very easy to get ahold of for any questions. Would recommend!

Great family location

Lake Pepin for the first time. Beautiful lake and beautiful area. Martha and Eric were amazing hosts. The free ice, kayaks, paddle boards, yard games, and more gave us plenty to do. It is a YMCA camp that is renting their facility because of Covid so expect the feel of property to be like a camp which we all enjoyed very much.

Amazing stay!

Seriously better than we could’ve asked for. Such a great location for a group of friends to get together! We had a lot of fun down by the water, playing basketball, paddle boarding and kayaking, and having s’mores by the fire. Perfect cabin experience for an extended weekend! Also Martha and Erik were so great - communicating was so easy and they were so accommodating. They made sure we had water shoes and ice, got out paddle boards and kayaks ready, and made sure any questions we had were answered. My friends and I had the best time at Lake Pepin and would really recommend to anyone - whether you’re planning a family stay, or a college friend get-together. 10/10 all across the board. 😊

Martha was a great host that made sure we had everything we needed. Kids had a great time using the paddle boards and kayaks. Desipite the heat the fishing was even good with a few waylleyes and bass.
