One block to Beach!! This brand new home is simply spectacular! Gorgeous, open concept main floor. Sleeps 9

New in 2024, construction just completed! Enter into a grand, two-story foyer with custom wood paneling and unique pine washed wood floors. Continue into the open concept living, dining and kitchen with numerous upgrades including kitchen cabinets, quartz counters, appliances and wood floors throughout the entire first floor. This beach home has been professionally decorated to ensure the most memoriable family holiday experience! The living area has a stunning two-story vaulted ceiling with large, architectural windows, gas fireplace and Sonos in-ceiling sound system. There are french doors that lead to a cozy, 12x14 back yard deck with comfy lounging area and high top dining table that seats four. The rear yard and gardens are professionally landscaped and perfect for your afternoon cocktails, morning coffee and just relaxing after a day at the beach.

Primary en-suite is located on this floor, with king bed, french doors that lead to deck and expansive walk in closet, upgraded primary full bath.

Second floor has beautiful wood floors in the open concept TV room with stylish furnishings and 60 inch TV and in-ceiling Sonos sound system. There is a beautiful second primary suite with king bed and en-suite bath. This floor also includes a bedroom with one queen bed and "kids" bedroom with a bunk bed with two twin and an additional twin bed. The queen and twin rooms share a full hall bath.

There are three bedrooms and two baths on second floor, plus a large TV room.

Enjoy a 15x12 rear yard deck with gas grill, enclosed yard for kids and dogs.

Guests provide sheets, kitchen, bath and beach towels, all soap and paper products.

Central heat/air washer dryer, dishwasher, wireless internet, Sonos sound system, 2 car garage. Two car parking in driveway. Brand new in 2024

We are dog friendly! $250/week for one dog, $500/week for two dogs.

Rates Oct to April 1 are for us to 7 guests. Each addition guest is $45 per night (except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years).

PLEASE NOTE: VRBO charges a 3% fee for credit card or debit card (E-Check) payments. This is a pass-through charge to tenants and will be deducted from the Security Deposit. We require all guests to purchase accidental damage insurance for their stay, which is a minimal investment that provides you with $3000 of coverage for the unlikely event that damage should occur to the property during your stay. We spent 4 nights at the property with our daughter, son-in-law and their 2 children and everything was wonderful. The house was very clean and suited our purpose perfectly, and the proximity to the beach was ideal. I can highly recommend this home for anyone looking to rent in the Rehobeth Beach area.

We loved this property in Dewey. It was a short walk to the beach and about a twenty minute walk to the heart of Rehobeth. The place is beautifully decorated and very clean. Perfect home for our mother daughter getaway with teens. We would definitely book this home again!

Our stay was great. Beautifully decorated, clean, lots of light and space. Quiet street and easy walk to beach. Highly recommend and owners were easy to work with. Recommend a path to the hose or garage access to clean up after beach and some groundwater drainage

We loved staying at this property. It was new, clean and nicely decorated. The bedrooms are all generously sized and with nice closets. The second family room area upstairs was good for my family as we used it as an office and game area. We traveled with our pets so the fenced in backyard was perfect. The very short walk to the beach was ideal and this part of the beach was not to crowded

The house is as beautiful as the location which is about a two minute walk to the beach on Jersey Street. It was the perfect setup for us with a beautiful kitchen to cook in, plenty of space inside to hang out at night and a nice fenced back yard with a deck that our dogs loved. The bedrooms were large and inviting, with nice bathrooms. The only miss I’d say is that there was no hose or outdoor shower to rinse off coming back from the beach. Otherwise it was spectacular.

This is an excellent property. It’s close to the beach in a family friendly neighborhood. It’s also within walking distance to downtown Dewey and short bike ride to downtown Rehoboth. The decor of the house is amazing. It’s put together purposefully and with care. We would definitely rent this property again.

The house is all-new construction and pretty much everything is pristine. The cleaning crew did a great job, everything was spotless when we arrived. We paid the extra fee to bring our dog and appreciated having the fully fenced backyard available so we could just let her out without a lease. Dewey lets dogs on the beach morning and evening and we really enjoyed having those walks and meeting the other dogwalkers. Location is a quiet neighborhood a block and a half from the beach and about 10 mins walk to the heart of Dewey with all the restaurants and bars. Owners were very communicative and responsive. We had one complaint about an issue with the fridge water filter and the owners offered to drop off bottled water and ice to make sure we were comfortable. Overall we had a great experience with the property and the owners, highly recommend.

The house is cute but needs lots of updating and maintenance. As the house is surrounded by trees, we experienced a large amount of spiders and bugs throughout our stay, not quite what we were expecting. Some external trimming to access the backyard, and exterminating inside would have improved our stay.

As luck would have it , we chose the 2 nd week in May and the weather was horrible . Heavy winds, rain and cloudy skies , temps didn’t get out of the 50’s . We managed a good time, none the less . Our only complaint was that the heater in the combination kitchen, living room (open plan area ) wasn’t adequate for the space . In warm , sunny weather , it would be a good place !!

Location is super convenient. I can definitely see how one could stay here and be able to get around totally by bike. The property itself was clean and bright. The screened in porch was awesome. The yard was nice and great for our dog to run around in. It was unseasonably cold when we stayed (mid-April), and the Property Manager Jordan reached out to us preemptively with some tips and tricks. We appreciated that. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice quiet location, easy walk to the beach. Appreciate that this property allows dogs. For the price we paid (which now seems like a lot) it would have been nice if basic necessities like toliet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, soap etc were provided. I have stayed at a lot of vrbo properties in the past and have never had to think about bringing those items with me. I get the linens, but the others items should be included.

We decided last minute to do a little getaway with our fur baby. Luckily this location was available! I loved the cozy home with all of the natural light and fell in love with the location (so much so that I think I need to find a property for sale). The location is a woodsy, quiet little neighborhood that is one and a half blocks from the beach, a few blocks from Dewey Beach restaurants and about a mile to the shops and restaurants in Rehoboth. It was a wonderful family trip with our pup!!

We spent a month at this cool cottage in the forgotten mile. It felt like a camp ground with the wonderful pine trees for shade, but just 1 block to the beach. Nice, quiet street. The house was nice, clean, cute decor. It’s been said in other posts about the breezeway access, but I found it ideal for older kids / teens and guests for privacy. The hosts were very accessible and attentive. I’d rent there again.

Wonderful stay, relaxed atmosphere and delighted to waking up to the sounds of birds in the garden. The cottage was very clean and well equipped with consideration of covid. Distance to beach was very walkable as was walkability to fresh market where you could have breakfast or lunch. Loved the screened porch. The first night we were there our little dog sat out there by herself listening to the sounds in the yard. I could tell she loved it. An extra key for the adjoining wing of the house would be good to have. Overall, a great experience.

One block from the beach. Interesting layout of the bedrooms. 2 rooms are connected to the screen porch. For us was perfect however not good for families with kids. Great people to work with and had everything we needed. We will be back!

Beachy decor without being over the top. Wonderful and private screen porch (highlight of house)!! Beds you can actually sleep comfortably in! Pleasant and well supplied kitchen. 1.5 block - very short walk - to beach. Fantastic farm market around the corner (Fifer’s). Easy walk into town of Dewey; very pretty (past Silver Lake) but slightly longer walk to town of Rehoboth. Responsive property manager. Bathrooms are fine but nothing special. Most important alert is that 2 of the 3 bedrooms are off a breezeway connected to screen porch vs. connected to main living area. You lock the doors directly to the screen porch from inside the bedrooms, and the main living area also locks to the screen porch. Nice for trustworthy teens or grown-up companions (for privacy), but this layout may not be ideal for small children from a safety perspective.

Great, casual beach getaway

We had a great week at this property. The location is perfect, just over a block away from the beach. Communication with the property manager was excellent and it was easy to access the house. It was very clean and we were able to bring our small dog which we loved. In my opinion, this house works best for folks with adult family members or older teens because the enclosed part of the house has a master bedroom with en suite, and one "great room" that includes the den, kitchen and eating area. The rest of the house is off a screened in breezeway which is where you will find another bathroom and two more bedrooms, so you have to lock yourself into those bedrooms at night. Just something to think about if you have smaller kids. We have older teens so it was fine for us, and my mom stayed in the room next door to them. Overall it was a great week and we loved the "camp" vibe of the houses in that immediate area. Easy to run or bike to both Rehoboth and downtown Dewey and to head to either town for dinner or shopping.
