Fantastic apartment in a great central location next to the train station. The host was lovely and very quick to respond to any queries.
Sintra is beautiful, with plenty of stunning historical buildings to visit. The tram to the beach was also a lovely experience.

The appartment is comfortable, clean and equiped.
Central location near the train station, bus, and Tuktuk exit point.
Noise from the train and the street.

The apartment is very close to the station but also has parking close by if you choose to drive (car hire is very cheap compared to other countries)
It has two good sized bedrooms and the kitchen is well equipped
The old town centre is a ten minute walk away but there are plenty of restaurants and food shops close to the apartment
A great base to explore Sintra, Lisbon and the wider area
Trains are a little bit noisy, but it's nice to have an outside space

The hosts, Susana and Ricardo were very proactive with communication. They were very accommodative. We arrived early and Susana allowed us to check in much earlier than the usual time.
The location of the apartment was very near the train station (3 minutes walk) which made it very easy for us as we had big suitcases. The apartment was on the ground floor. The apartment was very spacious with 2 comfortable size bedrooms (main is king, second are 2 single beds). The bathroom and kitchen had all the amenities required including a washing machine. There was also a terrace for sitting out after a day out. There are many restaurants nearby which are not so touristy as in the historical centre. Susana had also left a book with her recommendations for food (both snacks and lunch/dinner).
The front door was a little tricky to open but one can get used to it after a while.
A little noisy when the trains stop at the station.

The location to the old town of Sintra was perfect as it was close enough to walk to see the town but it was not in the middle of the touristy section. The shower, kitchen, living area and entrance were wonderful. Our Uber driver had difficulty locating the apartment and we ended up at a restaurant until we could communicate with the owner. Once she was aware of our situation, she called and offered to pick us up! This was exceptionally personal service :) There are several wonderful restaurants within a short walk. I highly recommend this apartment.
The comfort of the beds was less than perfect, but so have all of the beds we have slept on in Portugal (and Spain) on this trip. Overall, a good night's sleep though.

A lovely, perfectly situated and very well equipped apartment. The outside space with the afternoon sun was perfect for a glass of wine after a long day exploring the palaces and castle. The help and flexibility of the owners made it very easy for us to maximise our time in beautiful Sintra
We liked everything 😁

The location was perfect, the apartment was clean and tidy. The apartment is equipped with all the necessary things
The location of the apartment in Booking is not accurate, sends to wrong streets. We got stuck for over an hour until we found the apartment. It is advisable to add that the location is near the Sintra train station.

brilliant location, right by Sintra train station, hop on and off buses/ taxis for sightseeing, central to the restaurants/cafes. lovely apartment, comfy beds, luxury bedding, powerful hot shower. very helpful host, who recommended local fabulous Portuguese restaurants. thank you Susana
unfortunately the bedrooms are at the front of the property on the ground floor, and if you are a light sleeper, the local traffic may disturb you, the apartment is NOT on a main road, but very close to a narrow local road. The apartment has double glazing. we went out of season, so not too bad, traffic was quiet after midnight.

Location - location - location. Close to train station and buses. Easy walks to other parts of Sintra. Great restaurants near by. Susana the owner was great. Even dropped off some Christmas treats for us 😀.
All was good.

Location and the information provided by the host, very organized!
The noise was making between the floor and the shoes, every single steps made an annoying sound. It was like wearing those special shoes for the toddlers that you can chase the sound and know where they are. It could be from the cleaning chemical it was used for the floor. It would be nice to have paper towels.

Close to train station and 434 sight seeing bus. Was easy to roll suitcases to hotel. Nice apartment and patio.
Car noise in bedrooms.
5.8 / 10.0
The access to the train and bus
We were informed there would be free parking close by. No one was on site to assist. Went to tourist information and closest free car park was a train trip away. This made it difficult to get luggage to and from the apartment.
