About this house rental

Our house is a lovely 4 bedroom 3.5 bath lakefront home, completed in 2020 on over an acre of land! We are located in the Fairmount Community, which is right around the corner from a grocery store, deli restaurant, Ace hardware store, liquor store and car wash. With over 2400 sq. ft of main living space, we offer a large open concept family room and kitchen for entertaining and relaxing with many guests. The Lake view is amazing because of floor to vaulted ceiling windows in the family room, out of which you might even spot a bald eagle flying high in the sky around the tall trees! The main floor sleeps 9-10 comfortably with a king size bed in the main master suite, a queen and twin in the second master suite and queen beds in the two other bedrooms. We have a large game room above the garage with a pool / ping pong table for your enjoyment! The game room sleeps 7 with a queen bed, a full bed and a bunk that sleeps two on the bottom and one on the top.

The fully stocked well equipped kitchen has all that you need to cook a meal which you all can enjoy at the comfortable dining room table or island bar after a full day on the water. We have a large tv in the family room where you can access live tv or many smart apps.

We provide two covered patios with a beautiful view and a nice sitting deck and a floating dock on the water in which to lounge in the sun. And for the colder months, enjoy our in-ground fire pit! Our house is on a nice, quiet cove of the lake which allows for swimming and great fishing right off the dock! Feel free to bring your boat and hook to our dock for the duration of your stay. There is a public boat launch just minutes away.
The lake is full of bass, perch, crappie and catfish!

This home was perfect for our parents 50th wedding anniversary getaway. There was more than enough room to fit our whole family. The house is beautiful & very clean. The cove the house is in was perfect for the kids to swim in and even big enough to tube in. The owners were amazing at getting back to us when we messaged them. Highly recommend this place for your next family trip on Toledo!

We enjoyed our late summer get away at this beautiful lake house! Lots to do with the access to the lake and the hammocks, floats and kayaks on property. It is a beautiful quiet spot on the water and the house is perfect!

Beautiful home with ample room for our large family. The home was clean with well stocked kitchen. So nice being right on the water with a nice dock to keep boat on site and we all had a great time swimming, floating and fishing.Hostess was very pleasant and addressed any issues very quickly. Highly recommend!

We had 3 families and kids ranging from 4-9. It was the best place for us. When the kids were in the bonus space upstairs you couldn’t hear them (in a good way lol) The family room and kitchen were beyond beautiful. The cellphone service is terrible but also makes it the perfect place to unplug. I contacted the owner multiple times and every time responded within 20 minutes. Honestly will probably book this place again I loved it so much

This is a great property right on the water. Beautiful views. The house is spacious for a large group. The game room is out over the garage, so good for teens, but away enough that it breaks the group up. The kitchen is big, but could use updates on pots, pans, dishcloths and coffee maker. Be sure to bring your own paper goods. The host is lovely with communication and the house fit our needs for the weekend. Thank you!

Our family of 11 stayed in this lovely home and couldn't have enjoyed it more. We love the open kitchen, dining, and family area and even with all of us in one room, it never felt crowded. This was our second time at this home and we hope to return again next year. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful.

The house was extremely clean and well maintained. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. The house is located in a small bay of the lake and had excellent views of the water. The area around the house is all nice houses and neighbors were all nice and friendly. The house itself can sleep a lot of folks and the beds were very comfortable. The game room above the garage was our favorite and the kids had pool and ping pong tournaments which we all enjoyed. The communication with the owners was outstanding and very friends and accommodating. I would highly recommend this house as a place to stay for anyone wanting to enjoy the Toledo Bend area. We stayed for a weekend and very much enjoyed it.

The view was beautiful and the owner was very responsive when I had questions. The house needs a good deep cleaning. The oven was so filthy. The grill was listed as an amenity but it took over an hour to clean it so we could use it. If you list things as an amenity they should be ready to use. There is no railing going up the stairs over the garage where the pool table is nor is there a light for the stairwell (night time bathroom runs were hazardous). The master shower corner shelf needed to be moved to clean the mold underneath it. When paying almost 500 a night and planning for a family vacation cleanliness is the least I expect.

What a wonderful house for our family getaway! The home is open and bright with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We had ages 5-61 and everyone was happy. We had no problem cooking for and serving our large crew in the amply supplied kitchen. There are plenty of bathroom towels and bed linens. The bedrooms are all nice size with dark curtains/blinds for sleeping in! We loved the patio areas right off the master bedrooms! The private loft area is a great space. We all enjoyed the dock area with kayaks and floats. Our boys fished and swam and fished and swam and fished some more! The owner responded quickly with the few questions we had. Thank you to the owners for sharing your home!

We had 5 family’s come together. Each family had a room. The family with the most kids stayed up stairs in the games room. We ended up with 11 adults and 7 kids. We had plenty of room. Kids fished off the doc. Swam in the river. They had a great time. Adults relaxed on the patio and fished on the doc and in boats. We brought a small blow up pool for the 3 two years old and 9 month old and they loved it. Over all great place

Needs help in cleaning, stove fiilthy, air condition filter filthy, pots and pans in bad shape, broken latter and hammock in yard, trash on pier. no rail leading to upstairs bedroom very dangerous. Cleaning of property needed in all areas.

We rented the house with 4 families with kids ranging from 2-6 and we had a great time!!! Bonus room was a plus. Store was super close. We were able to park our party barge and use it as we wanted in the lake. I did not communicate with anyone because check out and check in was so easy and we did not have any issues during our stay. A great place to stay!!

This house and location was absolutely perfect for our group of four families with kids of various ages. The 4 bedrooms fit the adults and small babies perfectly with the older kids having their own space/playroom above the garage. The large living/kitchen area was able to hold our group of 17 and the outdoor space with direct access to the lake kept everyone close. LaRae is an incredible host and was so generous with her availability via phone as we had a couple of questions when we arrived. We will definitely be back for another weekend soon!

House is even larger than the picture show. Kitchen is well equipped. Open kitchen, dinning and living room makes a great place for large group to gather together . Huge open garage is ideal gathering place outside when the weather is bad.

This was a central location for our Texas and Louisiana family to meet for the Christmas holiday and it was perfect in every way. Plenty of space for everyone both inside and outside. Great open kitchen; large dining table and lovely main room with a view of the lake. We all agreed it would be fun to return to again.

House and property were great!! Beautiful view, well stocked with all sorts of things needed while away from home. Host very easy to reach, questions answered in timely manner. Plenty of amenities on the property itself. Plenty to keep kids entertained and adults too!!

Had a wonderful stay here, loved the spacious bedrooms and open floor plan, very quiet area. Accommodated my wife, our two sons (4 year old and 10 month old), my parents, my wife's parents, and my sister and everyone was very comfortable.
