Amazing location and the space was great for our group of 8, had no issues.
10.0 / 10.0
We had a great stay at this Lion Square Lodge property. The location is perfect… super close to the village, easy and quick walk to the gondola. There is an included ski valet right next to the gondola which is so convenient!
The condo itself was perfect for our family. We utilized all 3 bedrooms along with the small tv room which has a couch that pulls out into a bed. We didn’t cook so I cannot speak for supplies but there was plenty of coffee, tea, filters, paper products for our entire stay. We also appreciated the daily housekeeping which is a nice perk!
The layout was unique as two of the bedrooms are fairly separate from the rest of the unit. I had a hard time getting used the fact that the elevator opens right into the foyer of the unit. We had no issues but it is very different from what we are used to.
We used the pool and hot tubs that were just across the street next to the mountain daily, they were great! There is also a beautiful walking path along the creek which is quiet and lovely.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely return!

Steps away from the mountain side and staff was very helpful. The condo is designed to accommodate both adults and children. Fully equipped kitchen and nicely furnished.

No hot water on the first and fourth morning of our stay. No heat on the fourth morning of our stay. I asked repeatedly for a manager to call but I still haven’t heard from them. There were a bunch of other little problems with the unit (detailed below), any one or two of which would be no big deal but combined, and combined further with the very large issues of the lack of heat and hot water, definitely not worth the fourteen thousand I paid for 4 nights.
At first, we were very excited to see the 4th floor elevator door open directly into this well-appointed 3 BR Condo. After getting settled, we immediately noticed the starter on gas grill wasn’t working. Maintenance came straight up and said they couldn’t fix it but advised us to use a lighter to light the grill, but would not provide their lighter because they said it was the only one they had. After we complained they brought a lighter back up later.
We woke up on the first morning of our stay to NO hot water. I reported the issue to the front desk and was told maintenance doesn’t get in until 8. But fine, we’re gritty skiers and went out to ski without any showers or basic personal grooming. Apparently some time after we left, they “re-set the boiler” and we had hot water when we returned from the slopes.
Later on that first full day of our stay I reported the following little issues to management via text (the only way to get through to the management company):
Gas grill igniter not working
Master bathroom heated floor

Good sized, clean condo in a great location. The pictures on line do not do it justice. The view of the slopes from this unit is fantastic. At first I thought we'd like the elevator opening right into our unit and then once we got there, I personally did not like that. There are also 2 stairwell doors that open right into this condo unit. We put the lock on those, so I guess that made us feel a little safer. Kitchen is a great size and I love the separation and privacy of each room.

The place was well-appointed & comfortable, really nice once inside. Unfortunately the elevator to this 4th floor lodging was broken & my parents had a very difficult time walking the stairs, making it a very difficult weekend for them. Sadly, we had a terribly rude bellman that was also useless & pissed off our entire party upon arrival. He wouldn't help with the bags & actually made fun of anyone in our group that was having a hard time with the stairs. We have traveled the world for 40+ years & he was hands-down the worst hotel/condo employee that we have ever encountered... there is too much to write here to convey accurately how terrible he was. In the end, the management company was merely a hindrance, rather than a help. Renting VRBO's is usually so simple & rarely requires a formal "check-in" at a front desk, this place would be so much better if a keypad was added to the door & the management company was removed from the equation.

I couldn't have been more impressed with this property. Super close to the slopes and the hospitality was truly amazing. We will be back!

About as good as it gets; a very well appointed and located condo in Lionshead. The Lion Square Lodge has a 24 hour front desk and a concierge and very helpful bell des. A fitness center in the building and 2 underground heated parking spaces. Free ski check 20 yards from the Gondola is tough to beat. The condo itself is as nice if not nicer than indicated by the photos. Very high end feel. Elevator opens into the foyer of the unit. 4 full bathrooms and 3 bedrooms and plenty of room for a family or group of friends. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic Summer Stay
We cannot say enough good things about this unit! It is tucked away in the North Tower of Lion Square Lodge so it is extra quiet and still perfectly situated within Lionshead. Even without central AC we stayed cool in a week when it was in the low 80’s every day. There is plenty of room to spread out in this unit with an extra large kitchen/living space and bedrooms tucked down hallways so that people can sleep in. The beds are super comfortable and our kids really enjoyed the bunks + trundle so they could all sleep together. We will be coming back to this unit for a future stay!

Beautiful condo The place has a perfect layout for families. The beds are extremely comfortable and the bathrooms are great. The location is also excellent. My only complaint is the dishwasher did not seem to get the dishes clean , had to run twice

Lovely stay
This condo was large enough for our family of 6 with room for everyone to work/school remotely. Kitchen is fabulous, just missing a few small items like foil and a can opener which was delivered to us eventually. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and everything was clean. The elevator opens into the hallway between the kitchen and the master bedroom and it felt great to walk into the condo directly from the parking garage. We will definitely be back.

We had a great summer week staying in T401! The condo is well positioned with a great view, It is super convenient to the Lionshead Gondola and all the shops and restaurants in the Lionshead Village. It is accessed by a private elevator shared by a few condos and we felt like this was a very safe option during this pandemic. The pictures don’t show the little extra living area but it is as described- small but a nice space for kid’s TV or Xbox watching. The condo is nicely decorated and linens are great! Would love to rent again.
