Location
Fantastic location. We had a fantastic weekend family break away. There were 9 adults and 3 children and lots of room for us all.
9.0
Wonderful location and ample space in the bedrooms for our family. The views out across the water to the Donegal headlands was fantastic. The property was warm and comfortable. There was some high winds when we were there and so a bit of wind noise which was to be expected but good solid windows that shut out the weather noise.
We had thought that the living are may be too small for the 7 of us but it was fine. The kitchen area is small but well equipped. We did not sit at the table as it only seated four but had enough room to cook and prepare meals.

The best thing about this property was The spectacular View. Absolutely stunning location
We loved everything!

Brilliant, roomy property right in the middle of the Promenade.
Small things, more wine glasses.

It's location was fantastic although car parking was an issue as others had parked in the designated porthole area. Great size just kitchen wasn't as clean as I would have expected.

A group of us stayed here for our friends wedding and we had a wonderful time. The property is set right on the beachfront which meant we had AMAZING sunset views. It was clean, spacious and had everything that we needed. The property manager Emma was very helpful and got back to us quickly whenever we had any questions. Great value for money, would definitely stay here again!

Location and view were excellent. Parking was acceptable when arriving back late in the afternoon but very busy during the day with day trippers.
Only one shower between eight was poor. Insufficient seating in the lounge for eight. Difficulty opening some windows.

the location was fantastic
the views were absolutely beautiful
it was great to have free parking also
accessibility from car park to the property wasn’t great . there was a walk across the back of other properties to a series of steps which were quite steep and slippy particularly in wet weather
the. property could have been cleaner. we moved the sofa so that we could enjoy the view and there were crisp crumbs behind it. some of the drawers were not clean and the fridge had not been cleaned fully . congealed milk at back of fridge under drawer . insufficient cooking utensils in kitchen and only4 seats at table

location and views brilliant restaurants and bars/shops all within easy reach....bedlinen & towels were nice and clean.
very outdated bedrooms.. in some bedrooms inside drawers dirty and sticky.. 8 adults in our family party and only 1 shower.. wood floors were dirty and carpets had sand all over. small table in kitchen with just 4 dining chairs..( it could sleep 11)..so any food eaten in had to be on laps...parking was terrible and often other cars in our parking spaces. the steep steps to get to the house from parking above was scary at night.. a deep clean may make it better sorry ! other relatives stayed further up the promenade and the home they hired was spotless compared to yours.. sorry but being truthfull.

that it was pet friendly and it’s location was brilliant. the private car parking was an added bonus.
a little outdated but the internet wasn’t brill but it kept the kids off the phones and more family time was had

Great location with great views, great house and for what it works out per person (for us anyway, having 8 people) cheap, really cheap.

The view was amazing.. The house had everything we needed. Excellent +++

The location was ideal for the 4 days of your stay. The property was very well kept, spacious and the view on the sea was amazing.
The private parking was used by other residents which limited access to an already tight area. The court at the rear was handy for some family activities but don't expect to sun bathe there. It's all minor points which really don't take anything away from the great experience staying at the Porthole!

Cleanliness
Having to strip all bed linen!
Empty all the bins in the property, bedrooms, bathrooms etc.
8.0
the views, the number of beds
no bread bin, fruit bowl or tea pot.
owner had taken key before we had even left property- meaning I had to leave other key (as it was too big for the key box) up to the agent. we weren’t late leaving the property either! so this was not very nice.

Emma the property manager was so helpful and lovely.
Needs a few lamps, rather than overhead lights.

The apartment was amazing, incredibly spacious with outstanding views. The interior of the apartment is a credit to the owners, it is super unique and quirky down to every last little detail, it adds great character to the property. The location couldn't have been more convenient, along the promenade, central to everything and having free private parking was also an added bonus. McAfee Holiday Lettings were great hosts, very helpful and friendly.

Perfect location, right in the middle of the promenade. Walking distance to a huge amount of fantastic coffee shops and eateries. House was incredibly clean and comfortable and big enough for our whole family, kids, dogs and all. Already looking forward to our next visit!
Carpark isn't very accessible but cannot complain about this as it was amazing to have free car parking included. We just dropped our parents off at the front door instead.

The bedrooms we're fine with comfy beds. The location couldn't possibly have been better, central promenade with amazing views,. Would stay again with maybe a few less of us.
We were a family of ten adults so one bathroom and a small kitchen with just four dinning chairs was a bit of a problem

We had a fantastic stay in the apartment! It is very spacious and 4 of the bedrooms have amazing sea views! Excellent location on the Main Street! They had a doggy bowl and a highchair&cot in the property which was great! Can’t wait to return!

The views are stunning and the location couldn't be better, right on Portstewart Promenade. The flat is very spacious, clean and comfortable.

Location amazing 10/10, rooms are fabulous. When doors are closed in sitting room can’t hear anything in rest of house if you have kids it’s a real plus☺️ bed sheets were fabulously soft and comfortable. View outstanding and a joy to wake up to and watch the sunset! Owner very responsive and super helpful
Street lights light up whole rooms so I advise putting children in back room, our son kept thinking it was day light ☺️
My husband thought the beds weren’t comfy, (I would sleep on the ground so I have no advise accordingly)
