About this house rental

Welcome to our new spacious 3 bedroom 2 full bath home on an 80 foot wide deep water canal with a 60 foot dock only 1500 feet from the peaceful open waters of Pine Channel. The dock is equipped with a ladder and ample fenders and cleats to secure your boat. Our canal enters Pine Channel south of the Overseas Highway Bridge ,so any guests with sailboats need not worry about clearance under the bridge to access the Atlantic Ocean. We have a 28 night minimum stay so that you have ample time to relax and truly have a memorable vacation . Our home is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before each visit. Our comfortable covered rear porch and front 10 ft by 10 ft deck offers our guests so many ways to enjoy the beautiful views of the peaceful canal and amazing Florida Keys sunsets in the western sky. From our front deck you will have amazing views of Pine Channel and the Overseas Highway Bridge. Relax at night with your favorite drink and marvel at the spectacular site of the stars illuminating the ocean"s universe The rear covered porch and front deck are easily accessed from the kitchen making outdoor dining extremely convenient . The house sports a spacious layout with the large kitchen, dining area and great room all completely open to each other. We have made every effort to supply you with every kitchen appliance and utensil needed for a great family vacation. The entire home boasts 9 ft ceiling and many large windows. The large master bedroom has a convenient walk in closet and an extremely roomy bath with an over sized double vanity ,a tub and separate shower .The double vanity is well appointed the mirror and lighting. The fan in the bathroom is on a separate switch. The bedroom is handsomely furnished with a queen size bed, 2 night tables ,and full size dresser and a Smart TV. The other two comfortably sized bedrooms have a queen size bed, night table and chest with large closets. All three bedrooms have a ceiling fan and Smart TVs The comfortable hall bath has a vanity with mirror and lighting , a combination tub/shower. The sumptuous great room is open to the bright and cheery kitchen and spacious dining area and overlooks the rear covered porch and deck and canal. It is furnished with a queen sized sleep sofa, two end tables, two very comfortable chairs with a table in between them. The very comfortable kitchen is equipped with a stainless steel refrigerator ,stove , dish washer , microwave and toaster oven . The kitchen boasts an expansive island with four stools so the family can enjoy each-other`s company . The kitchen is fully stocked with every imaginable utensil. The dining area is over sized with a large table with ample room for eight chairs. The home is centrally air conditioned and all rooms have ceiling fans . There are Smart TVs in each bedroom and the great room. We supply free strong and reliable WIFI making working from the house very easy. The house and dock are only 1500 ft from the open waters of Pine Channel. Our home in paradise is only 500 ft from a service marina with dockside fill up. In 5 minutes you will be in Pine Channel and then you can run your boat south to New Found Harbor where you will find small islands with cozy sand bars . Head a little further and find the famous Looe Key Reef for some breath taking snorkeling. Or you may choose to head north to the back country and explore the beauty and serenity of the exotic sandbars of Marvin Key , Snipes Key and Content Key. On the way back, stop off at Kiki`s Sandbar Grill with its own dock and enjoy a cool drink while rehashing the excitement of the day. The incredible and world famous Bahia Honda Beach State Park is only a 10 minute ride. And of course fun filled Key West is just a short drive away. The home is terrifically located and truly has everything you need to have a wonderful and memorable time in paradise We have a 28 night minimum stay and request that our vacationers book those 28 nights within the same month or a few days there of. Great fun Ahead!!!

We are long time visitors to the keys. This house is in a great location on Big Pine with great boating access. The house is relatively new and decently equipped. Alfred was a very accommodating host and quick to respond to any question. We'd gladly stay again.

This is our second time staying in Big Pine. We love the wildlife and serene atmosphere of the location as well as the convenience of local shopping, fueling, and bait stores. The house was perfect, couldn’t have been any better!

This property is located in the perfect place to reach anywhere comfortably up and down the keys. There is less traffic and beautiful quiet sunsets from the balcony of this property. The owners were absolutely helpful and great communicators all along the process of running this property. We hope to go back.

Great location for access to pine channel and Hawk Channel. Owners were immediately available when we had a question about a key issue. Cooking pans/dishes should be upgraded but we would definitely stay again, tried to book for next year but already reserved.

I was very comfortable there. The neighborhood is quiet. I would have liked more comfortable seating in the living room. The chairs are not very comfortable when i had friends stop by to visit. And i would have liked a few pieces of glass bakeware like Pyrex for when i made my chicken philly dip and a casserole. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

Property is just as described and well maintained. The owner was easy to communicate with and corrected any problems. The dock was spacious and easy to turn around in and the outdoor hose was great for washing fishing equipment and the boat.

Beautiful and new. Super clean. Well appointed. Great dock. Great location for boating. Fantastic washer and dryer and beds Only down side is no cable. TV is smart so you need some streaming subscriptions to use it. And neighbor to the north has two big barking German Shepards. Worse is that they often play very loud country music. We couldn't use the north deck much for the loud music. Even inside we could feel the thumping bass. We thought about asking them to turn it down but this sign is on their fence. NO TRESPASSING ARE YOU GOING TO LISTEN TO ME IN ENGLISH? OR DO I HAVE TO SPEAK TO YOU IN 12 GAUGE? If you don't mind music and barking, and it's not all the time, this is a great and comfortable house. Very clean

The home has been recently remolded. It is nicely laid out and clean. The kitchen and living room is open concept so family members can prepare meals and still be a part of the conversation with others in the living room. There are also two separate balconies. The balcony facing west has great views for watching birds and sunsets. The balcony on the east side faces the canal which during our stay we spotted about six Manatee swimming about. It was wonderful to keep the boat docked just matter of feet from the house. The channel leading to the open water is short. A large portion of the open water is protected by islands and neighboring keys with areas to explore. We found one small island with a sandy beach with a large shallow area to anchor the boat. You can walk in waist deep water to the island. This is popular spot among the locals. Big Pine Key is predominantly a residential community and much more quiet than the other popular tourist destinations which we found refreshing. Still Key West is only 45 minutes away. We made three enjoyable day trips to Key West during our month stay. We found our stay here most enjoyable. The home is beautiful and the location is wonderful. We highly recommend this vacation rental to all wishing for a nice quiet vacation.
