Had a great time at this lake. We were there for a 4th of July weekend
Amenities are great , fireworks show was awesome
House was clean. Well stocked with kitchen essentials . Only surprise was that there were no blankets and pillows. I was prepared with sheets, and towels.
So, make sure you are prepared.

Stayed here for two night. It is a rustic chalet in a great location. There is plenty to do in the hideout and this home is centrally located. We enjoyed the walking path on the side of the road along the lake. Check the photos well, the two twin beds are actually mattresses on the floor. Kitchen had what we needed and the living room is cozy and roomy.

The place is lovely, in the perfect location. Shopping centers about half an hour away. Perfect neighborhood. The only downside I found was difficult to drive at night, streets are very dark, I think at least on intersections there should be a street light, it's easy to go into a ditch while turning because you can't see where you're going.

Cozy house in the woods, enjoyed the relaxing living area, well stocked kitchen and comfortable king size beds. Nice sized deck for grilling and dining. Great fire pit area with chairs and lighting was fun for evening fires and smores. Close location to fishing area and main pool/tiki bar/beach. Thank you for a great stay!

We loved the peacefulness of the Poconos. The house made us feel we were in the woods. We could walk to the pool and pickle ball courts.

Arrival was a breeze, and the directions given from the manager made it extremely easy upon arrival. When we arrived at our chalet in the woods, it was everything we wanted. It really felt like you where surrounded by wilderness. Plenty of driveway.. everything was tidy and neat , we didn’t have a single issue while we were there. It was nice and warm when you needed it to be and cooler when you didn’t . We have stayed at arrowhead, and we believed that’s were we would return too, but the hideout has our hearts. Our house was literally walking distance to the ski hill, just a street over, and you wouldn’t even know it because of the authentic Poconos vibe the property offers. It’s the perfect spot. I’d give 6 stars if I could.

In a nut shell it was dirty. Lots of cobwebs. Tables in family room and downstairs bedroom were dirty. The changing table had an actual baby tooth left on it. There was no TV in the downstairs bedroom. No curtains other than one sheer curtain on one bedroom window downstairs and a shade on the laundry room window. The neighborhood was nice and well kept but it’s in the middle of no where.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Robert's home. The rooms were large and comfortable, beds were soft, kitchen was well-appointed and living room had games and books to entertain our little ones! This was our first time at the Hideout and we enjoyed all the community amenities. We wished we had a longer stay!! We would absolutely return. Thank you for having us!

This property was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. Beautiful, rustic, clean, remote, and secluded. We had a wonderful and relaxing trip. Went to a couple of local restaurants, and some other activities. We mostly wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle and this is definitely the location you are looking for. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

We are so grateful for the wonderful long weekend getaway we were able to experience at this beautiful and welcoming property. My daughters are graduating medical school and college this year and so, family getaways are even more precious somehow to try to get moments together. The property was just as it looks in its pictures - absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed cooking and watching movies in the evenings, while we explored the region throughout the days. The only extremely tiny bump for me is that I could not find a broom at the end of our stay - I don't know how I missed it - but I could not find a broom to sweep up as we were packing up. Thank you for a lovely stay, it's an absolutely beautiful property that is BETTER than its pictures. Thanks for the new memories. Marie

Cozy cabin
Nice cabin in the woods. Only issues we're standing water on either side of property allowed for alot of mosquitos while hoping to have a nice evening around the fire.

Weekend at the Lake
Chose a quiet weekend at the lake for a bachelorette getaway - it was perfect. Enough space for everyone to have their own spot, in a quiet secluded area and super close to a lake!

Great place!!!
Loved our getaway there, very nice very clean. It’s on a no outlet road so not much traffic at all. That’s a plus for me It has some space from the neighbors, not like the other cabins I saw driving in Absolutely enjoyed our stay. Will be staying again

Perfect Little Chalet !
My wife and I always go away Halloween weekend and this year we found the perfect little hideaway for the two of us! The cabin was quaint and was decorated in a way that we felt comfy right away. It was located perfectly in the center of all of the adventures we had planned in different parts of the Pocono’s. We will most definitely return to the little chalet!

Clean and cozy!
We had a great stay at the Little Chalet in the Woods. We were 4 adults and 1 infant, and there was plenty of space for all of us. The house was clean and cozy, with a gorgeous recently renovated kitchen and spacious living room. We really enjoyed sitting by the campfire at night, walking around the lake, and grilling.
Only docking one star because the lake is currently closed due to a recent water test. Additionally, the chalet is a little far from the heart of the Poconos, where all the great hikes are. As a result, we didn't get to do as many outdoor activities as we hoped. Also note: you will have to bring your own pillows, sheets and blankets!

Home does not have AC in every room, only has 2 portable units in downstairs BR & LR.
Eric, property manager was unprofessional, we contacted him to alert him to home not properly cleaned upon arrival and his response was that if we didn't like it we could and suggested that we leave. We arrived to find trash left in kitchen trash can & a bag of trash thrown under the deck that we removed to prevent having bears attracted, the upstairs bedroom had no AC & windows were not able to be opened. The home had cob webs, dust, there are no window coverings in the living room or front kitchen/dining area so if you plan on using the sofa bed, as my granddaughter had to use since the upstairs BR was unbearably hot, you will have NO PRIVACY. I cannot recommend this property, I can recomm end 1359 Wood hill Lane, it's the same rate and a beautiful 3BR, 2.5 Bath home with central AC, nicely furnished and has a game room in the basement, beach chairs and toys to use. This property doesn't provide any extras!

Great property and even better weekend
This spot was amazing. I grew up in the area and this was my first time in property. Every detail was taken care of. Anything you need is pretty already there. It was quiet and private. The viewed and neighborhood were a joy and couldn't ask for better weather. The process of booking, signing in were so simple. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Robert for a great stay!!!

Reunion in the Rain!
This was a beautiful and cozy place to stay for our annual reunion with college friends. Having not been able to meet last year, this year was really important and this little chalet was the perfect spot! While the weather was unseasonably cool and we only had about 12 hours without rain over our 3 days, we were beyond comfortable and able to relax in this wonderful space. The cabin heated up nice and quick once we got there and stayed toasty through the weekend, the upper room especially was nice and warm. We ate all of our meals at the chalet and the kitchen was well supplied and had everything that we needed; we especially loved the grill! Because the weather encouraged indoor activity more than getting out and about, we didn't really get to explore the area but it seemed like a wonderful location and we would love to return to see the Hideout in the sunshine. Eric was very responsive to all our needs and was a great host!

Relaxing Getaway
We really enjoyed our stay at the Little Chalet. We are a family of 3, the place is perfect size for us. It’s cozy, comfortable and clean. The house has all the basic comfort you need for getaway in the Poconos. If you plan to cook make sure you bring some containers to store cooked food. The house takes a few hours to heat up due to the baseboard heating so dress warmly. Overall, it’s in a nice location of The Hide Out and very convenient.

Quite relaxing
Although it had snowed heavily the day before our arrival, the drive was cleared and the directions on how to gain entry were clear. It's a very quiet area and a very cozy cabin.
