We've stayed in several of the old fishing villages on the Moray coast, but Findochty is the finest: gorgeous vistas, especially from the perfect situation of the property. The village is very quiet and peaceful, and so is the house - didn't hear a peep from any neighbours. The owners are very friendly, and thoughtfully left a bottle of wine in the fridge.
Nothing to complain about. I'd very happily stay here again.

Nothing particularly.

Clean, tidy, lots of space, decor was smart. Everything you needed was available. We particularly liked the views, beautiful.
Getting out of drive was a little challenging in a big car, but we soon got used to it. That is the only thing we weren’t keen on.

I used to live and work in Moray and particularly wanted to return to the area. The View met all of my expectations. It was so homely and cosy. Close to the coast, boasting unbelievable views from all the front facing windows. I walked the Moray Coastal Trail every day. Easily reached within 5 minutes on foot.
Gemma the host checked in regularly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a happy one.

The view is very spacious and has everything for an enjoyable stay. It was spotless and from the toiletries to the lovely hamper it was a home from home. Gemma and her family have put a lot of work into the property and you can tell its well looked after.
Tbh there was nothing not to like, it was expensive but typical of xmas newyear period.

The location of the view I'm beautiful. The property is well equipped and maintained. We met with the owner on arrival who was really friendly and showed me round. They checked in with us throughout the stay via messages and even wished us a safe journey home.
Unfortunately we stayed after a dog had recently visited which led to increased allergies for one of the party but another vacuum seemed to help. We hadn't mentioned the allergies to the host and were aware it was a pet friendly before booking so take responsibility for this. It was not a reflection of the cleanliness.

Spotlessly clean and had everything you would ever need. When we arrived Gemma met us and explained the property to us. She left us a beautiful hamper, Prosecco and beers for us to enjoy.

The views form the house!!!
The house is very comfortable, cosy, warm (it was extremely windy when we were there), and it has everything you need. Beds a wee bit soft for us and sauna didnt work, but these didnt affect our stay. We were really happy with easy communication with the host, Gemma, and that the property is pet friendly. Thank you!

Most comfortable and well equipped house with stunning views. Gemma and Richard gave us such a warm welcome and the delicious treats were a lovely addition. Golf course was great and amazing beaches and walks.

The property was very comfortable and the view delightful. Very central charming fishing village with many others to visit along the Moray Coastal Path to east and west, with sandy Cullen beach nearby for swimming, and many rocky bays to explore. The Whisky Trail is also accessible inland! The dog bed was well used by ours…

We have been coming to Findochty for 10 years with our family and this is the best accommodation we have stayed in. It is so comfortable, has everything you need plus a little bit more and the views are stunning. The owners have done a great job making this the perfect home from home.
Our host Gemma couldn't have been more welcoming and it was a nice touch for her to greet us in person albeit at a distance :-) The kids loved the play room which had plenty of toys and games. I can't wait to come back in the Summer as the views of the sunset from the house will be amazing.
