Region: A E Housman once wrote that Shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.

Town: Droitwich Spa is a historic town with well-maintained Green Flag parks and an open air lido. Droitwich offers a large selection of shops to explore, as well as a number of festivals which take place throughout the year. If you are visiting with children, why not explore the Avoncroft Museum, visit Aztec Adventure or pick fresh strawberries from Bells Farm Shop? Additionally, the town is the set at the heat of England, with great links to Birmingham, Worcester and Straford-Upon-Avon.
