The house is everything advertised on the list and more, thanks to the owners cooperation. The ladies at the art center where great.
We stayed at other properties at the Hide out and this fit our needs the best.

Hubby and I enjoyed our stay at this cute cabin. It had everything we needed, was super clean and cozy. We spent most of our time out and about in town or at Rocky Mnt Natl Park, but it was a comfort to rest there. We really appreciated the table for morning breakfast and bible study and the loveseat when we wanted to just watch TV for a bit or recline while reading. We enjoyed the turkeys each morning that came to visit in the yard. Fun time and great communication from Jozelle.

Our weekend getaway was wonderful! Owner communication was excellent; we had an issue with wifi that was resolved above and beyond our expectation, especially on a holiday weekend. Could not have asked for better response.
House was excellent for our family, including three kids who absolutely loved their first floor hang out area and loft sleeping accommodations. Location was perfect for our needs. Would absolutely stay again!

The Chalet was exactly as it was described, but better. It was a 10 min walk to the Lake. Enough beds for all of our family (13 and dog). We got to meet the Owner and she was super friendly. The check-in/check out process was streamless. We would definitely go back. I had no issues, except that there was not "regular" tv only streaming services. That is the only complaint!!!!! The view on the front porch was amazing, the beds were comfortable.

It was our familys first time doing a summer vacation in the Poconos. We have stayed at the Hideout before in the winter. We couldn't say enough about our week. The check in process was seemless. We paid for the sheet service which was the best money spent. The house was spotless , the air was on to welcome us, all we had to do was unpack. The kitchen was stocked with enough utensils, pots, bowls, and cups. The screened in porch was great. We spent a lot of family time in the basement at night playing pool. The house is a little dated, but very comfortable. We spent everyday at the lake beach, which was so relaxing! We will be back again :)

Nice weekend trip
The property was close to as described but could use some renovations, especially the front porch which appears to be rotting. There was not central AC and we had some difficulties with temperature control. Pluses - great space for families, safe but welcoming community with tons of amenities. The linen fee of $75 was well worth the money. Kitchen had essentials and plenty of pots and pans. We would definitely revisit the community!

Nice view of the lake
The property manager was very responsive and helpful. Nice view of the lake. The basketball net in the pictures is not in the house. My kids were disappointed at that. The place was very dusty and there were random things such as water bottles and trash under bureaus and beds. Overall we had a good time, although we weren’t able to go tubing bc of the weather.

Cute ski/lake house
Owner was very responsive. We loved the feel of the house. Lots of beds and sleeping options kids loved sleeping in the loft area. We arrived in very icy conditions and we were pleased to see a bucket of salt at the door.

Really Nice Home
All was great only complaint extra charge for linens should just be part of the price and included. Nobody likes to have to make their own bed when going on vacation. But great trip otherwise

Beautiful Views, Be sure you're a nature lover!
3 adults, 5 tweens had a fun time. Inside was great, pretty much as pictured. The view of the lake was beautiful. We underestimated how woodsy we are and definitely met lots of unwanted insect friends inside the house. Besides that if you don't mind that kind of nature experience it was a spacious, family friendly place. Notes: You will have to drive all your trash to another location, don't save it til the last day like we did. Dont pay attention to the green numbers when looking for the house. Driveway is steep and outside was pretty unkept when we visited, we didnt spend much time out there because of it. You should defininitely bring your own bedding and towels.

Great Family Reunion
We rented this property for a family reunion of 10 and it was great. Bradley was helpful and available for the full duration of the rental and then some. The house was well equipped with everything we needed including games and the pet allowance was key for our family with newly acquired dogs during the pandemic. Thank you a great family vacation!

Lake Ariel Vacay
Upon arriving to our location, there was a line outdoors to check-in to get our welcome packet. The line wasn't super long, but just an unwanted step when arriving at 1am after traveling with children. If we arrived earlier, it may not have been as bad. We had a very difficult time getting into the driveway because it was very icy and on a hill. We have a mini-van that kept slipping down the driveway when attempting to back up into it. When we arrived inside, the property was pretty cold and all of the thermostats were set to 50. It took quite a while for the house to warm up. I normally don't book rentals with pet allowances because of the pet dander that's can possibly be left behind. This property had it on the downstairs couch and badly on the 1st floor carpet. We had to vacuum it up. I loved that they had a grill, but my husband had to shovel a spot to get the grill outside from the indoor patio. We realized there was another one on the ground level that was already outside, but we weren't sure if that was accessible to us and didn't see it until we were leaving the property. We found it difficult to play pool on the 1st level of the house because the table was in close proximity to the sliding door, steps & the wall; we tried the best we could to navigate. Overall this was a spacious rental for our 10 guests. The host was really nice and it had great amenities, but we didn't use any because we only stayed a weekend. This place seems like it would be a more enjoyable rental during the summer months.

We love the Hideout! Home away from Home
We love going to the Hideout. We have been going for the last 20 years. It's definitely our 2nd home. The Hideout offers many activities for the young and the older generation. Thanks for keeping the house nice and warm when we first got up there.
