The hotel is located on the creek in South Obhur, a nice area where you can really enjoy a nice sunset and sunrise. Though it is a bit far out of the city, and having a car is strongly recommended. The pool is nice, though it wasn't very clean and the beach needed to be taken care of. It wasn't clean at all and the cleaning staff took no attention to cleaning the beach side and the sand - I am not surprised considering the management and reception staff are all immature and always too busy on their phones to take notice on what needs to be taken care of on the external property.
The linens and bed was quite comfortable and clean. Cleaning staff also did a decent job each time to clean the rooms when needed however they are very stingy with towels and other bathroom supplies.
Also, the pillow was NOT comfortable at all. 4 pillows, all the same thickness (very thick!) and size, so I would wake up every morning with a stiff neck due to the thickness and depth of the pillow.
One of the worst hotel experiences I have EVER encountered. For a regular & avid traveler, my 5 night stay was an absolute living nightmare - I wish I was exaggerating! Firstly, the room I was put in first felt like a dungeon - back of the hotel, with no windows, a bathroom faucet that doesn't work due to poor construction and fittings where the sink mirror doesn't allow the faucet tap to be turned on - WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT?! Secondly, I was moved to a different room - with a partial sea view, but the balcony was shared with another room - VERY strange, because there was a Saudi family and guests there so I was unable to use my balcony due to their privacy - again VERY bizarre! Thirdly, the bathroom & shower had timed hot water - SERIOUSLY? Hot water for only 4-5 minutes, and then freezing cold water! This was ridiculous with Jeddah's warm/hot weather & summer! I raised this matter to the reception many, many, MANY times and nothing was done about it. Fourthly, the AC in my room consistently made a rocking sound - loud thuds & shakes coming from the roof - this kept happening all night, all day. I even asked cleaning staff to have a look to see if this was "OK" by any means & they all said it was a faulty AC and my room should be changed. I raised this to reception and AGAIN - and AGAIN, NOTHING was done about it. FIFTH, the reception staff had the absolutely WORST service & level of professionalism I have ever encountered. Ibrahim - the absolute HORRIBLE, LYING "manager" who would even refuse to give me the GM's name or number to discuss matters with. Mohammed - new and VERY incompetent! Abdulrahman - who told me 90% of the rooms have water issues and LIED repeatedly about changing my room, Alshehri who was disgustingly rude and arrogant! Also, ALL contact numbers of the hotel are wrong - no one ever answers the phone or email or even replies on their Instagram account.
