Live the coastal lifestyle here in Westport and enjoy unobstructed water views of Grays Harbor Bay and the Olympic Mountains from your own private deck. Each foggy morning can be spent with a hot mug of coffee and a good book in-hand as the sounds of the bay and ocean breeze whisper up to the house. If you’re an early bird and it’s a clear morning, prepare for a gorgeous sunrise and watch the sun pop up. Occasionally, far-away Mount Rainier will be visible to the east. When everyone stirs, the chef of the group can step into the spacious full kitchen and whip up a delicious breakfast as everyone reminisces at the breakfast bar. When everyone returns from a full day of adventure, watching the colors of the sky change each evening with a favorite drink in-hand will be a great way to settle down. If you’re fortunate, you may see a small plane take off and land, a large freighter or fishing vessel in the bay, an eagle land in the tree near the deck, or a hawk hunting over the tide-flats. Not to mention, the whole gang will love munching on a bowl of popcorn as a movie plays on the flatscreen TV.

What's nearby:

While in the area, don't forget to check out Grays Harbor Lighthouse, Washington's tallest lighthouse sitting just under two miles from home base. When you work up an appetite, stop into local favorites like The Lighthouse Bistro, Pine Tree Tavern, or El Rancho Family Mexican Restaurant.

Horrible stay. Got bite by bed bugs in the master bedroom.

Plenty of room for our group of 8, including 2 toddlers. The beds were super comfy and most items/supplies needed were already there. It was easy to check in and check out.

We had a group of 5 sharing the house for a few days. Very close to everything in Westport. Peaceful and very comfortable.

Wonderful 4 night stay. Bayview has a retro vibe and ver comfortable bed. Great place if you have dogs! There's a strange odor not sure what it was. We were able to adjust by opening windows and turning on fans. The view is fabulous and it's very close to town.

The views from the large windows in the living room, dining room and kitchen were absolutely beautiful!!! There are neighbors closeby, but with a large backyard (that leads to a very quiet [no traffic] runway + ocean beyond), it feels quite private. On a different note, if you are not an indoor animal/pet person, this is not the place for you. The room I stayed in smelled like wet dog and the blanket at the end of the bed smelled like a dog had been laying on it for weeks without being washed. With the windows closed up, it kind of seals the pet aroma in the house. There was quite a bit of pet hair around on the furniture and bed linens. On a more serious note, we also noticed that someone (housekeeping?) let themselves into the house while we were gone one day. They may have been just replacing soaps/shampoos, but we were never notified. This is a security issue. We would never have agreed to stay in a home where someone could let themselves into our rental without telling us. The code to the front door appears to be someone's phone number, and seems that it is never changed. Not only is this a security issue for the renters but also for the owner/house keeper letting themselves in.... esp if there is a renter in there that feels a stranger might be trespassing.

The house was perfect for a family of 6. We had a water view, and saw airplanes landing and taking off. The downside is the cleanliness of the house. There was dog hair everywhere upon our arrival, the grill was so dirty it caught on fire when we started it, the George Foreman grill looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years, and the oven was just as bad. We had to wash any dish prior to us using it because they were all dirty. The driveway has so much overgrowth that it would scratch the car when leaving. Everything was covered in cob webs so we couldn’t use the seating outside. The yard hasn’t been mowed so it wasn’t convenient to take the dogs outside. If the house were clean we would definitely go back
