I don't want to be negative in this review, but some of the conditions of this house and customer service are leaving me no choice.
RENTER'S BEWARE!!! The listing on this house is deceiving. The money that it cost to rent this house for 7 days is too much for the issues that came up. Many issues were noticed as soon as we entered the house. We notified the property management company of some of the following issues and were told that they would let the property owners know. None of what we called about were addressed.
1. Only a handful of drinking glasses were available for the 18 of us that were here. We had to go out and buy disposable cups.
2. The pots and pans were in bad shape. Only 1 large frying pan and 1 large pot were available. We had to go buy our own pot to boil spaghetti noodles in. The one here was too rusty and scratched up to use.
3. The lighting in the kitchen was horrible. It was hard to see the food we were preparing. Light bulbs were out in multiple rooms. There could be a second refrigerator. Stocking 1 fridge with food for 18 people for a week was very difficult and frustrating. We kept all our drinks in our coolers. The water has a strong sulfer smell to it.
4. There is no exhaust fan in one of the downstairs bathrooms. The moisture from taking showers is causing mold to build up on the walls. Also, the linoleum around that shower has been cut away. You can see that there is water damage under part of it.

Convenient to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg areas, large property and very clean and spacious inside. Kitchen could use new pots/pans/utensils as they are well worn and coating is flaking. Outside could use some maintenance and upkeep (poison near the pool fence, heavy rain led to water in the basement related to drainage issues, outside pool furniture needs power washed). Breakers repeatedly tripped without any major power sources running. Management was excellent and very responsive to any needs. Many great things about the property, and we truly enjoyed our time there, just needs a bit of attention.

We loved this place.

Check in process was smooth. The pool was great! We did have to contact the pool caretaker twice to come and take care of the pool filter as it needed flushed. Location is great and close to many attractions. We were told there was an leak and that there was a dehumidifier in the basement to take care of damp carpet. The carpet was wet all week even with us taking care of emptying the dehumidifier. The basement steps and hallway carpet were wet all week causing an odor. The back patio had a clogged drain leaving water on the back patio that was there all week also. This could be a great rental if the water problems get resolved.

Very nice property with beautiful pool in a wooded area. Close to soaky mountain water park which was at the top of our to do list. Great communication throughout and easy booking process.
We did have to wait over an hour past our check-in time for housekeeping to be completed before we were able to enter the home. We were also notified that the air conditioner had been leaking causing wet carpet in the basement, but had been fixed. The carpet remained wet in this area throughout the stay making a mildew smell.

Beautiful property, great for large group we had 23 ladies. Just as description said. The only problem we had was the steps, I did not pay close enough attention when booking, some of our ladies had a hard time maneuvering them.

Great mini vacation
It was a great property with many amenities. We had a great stay. The property was very clean. We all enjoyed the pool and hot tub. There were plenty of dishes and everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We would rent this property again. We tried to leave the property better than when we got there.

They told me they would call me back to see if I could get an earlier check in and no one called. Property was not well cleaned. Outdoor furniture had mildew and downstairs carpet disgusting.

The house is perfect for a large family. Property is beautiful, pool is nice and proximate to Smokey mountains. The house was dirty and in disrepair. Windows we covered with spiderwebs, dust was hanging on the walls, mildew in the showers, screen doors were broken and hanging from their tracks. It could be a wonderful property if maintained and cleaned.

Great pool and firepit. Property excellent for outdoor games. Porch was a great spot to just sit and talk. Kitchen too small to prep for large groups. Fridge not as big as the one we have at home. No soap provided but not mentioned. Needs ice maker to makeup for small fridge. We repaired swings and some broken down furniture. Didn't see the need for a camera pointed at the pool---that was really "creepy". Place needs overall attention in updating and deep cleaning.

Overall the size and accommodations were great for our family of 20. More than enough beds and bathrooms. The eating area was great and we used the sunroom a lot. The pool area was wonderful and we loved having bonfires while swinging in the swing chairs. But, the pics in the ad did not give the whole picture. The house very much needs updating and even repair. It's definitely a rental that's been used, abused, and put away wet. Many walls had lots of scuff marks (even fixed patch work that hadn't been sanded and painted), the stairwell going down to the basement had peeling paint and wet carpet due to some type of water leak, some of the furniture (bedrooms especially) was scuffed and very used (pool table needs to be thrown out and replaced), poor lighting in the kitchen and dining area (very dark even in the day), the pool system drained into the parking lot leaving a boggy area of grass where people were walking, leftover beer cans and debris under the wooden decks (viewable because we had to keep adding water to the pool), light bulbs out on the deck so only half of them worked, some kitchen utensils were broken or just missing (electric mixer was broken, only one pot holder, cheap plastic utensils that would break), etc. The kitchen did include plenty of dishes and was otherwise well equipped. While the management company was quick to fix a couple items (outside area light by pool was out, pool system needed to be started), they did not actually clean the pool before we arrived or after we requested them to do so (bottom had debris). And, there was a gas grill at the house, but it was ready for the garbage bin with three empty tanks. When we asked for a better grill, we were told the house only had charcoal grills now. OK, but we had to spend $40 on charcoal and the grills are far, far away from the kitchen. A house that big really needs to have a big gas grill. And, a bigger hot tub - only a 4 person hot tub for a house that holds 34 people? Since this was the biggest and most expensive house our family has rented over the years, we were somewhat disappointed at its condition. So, overall we enjoyed our stay and the location, but the house really needs some better upkeep and is ready for a renovation. For all that we can only give the house 3.5 stars out of 5.

Dreamy Space, Place and Location
Our group enjoyed our stay at Firefly Meadow more than we even thought possible! From the fire pit to the open fields to the swings, every component made our Mountain Weekend one of the most memorable times of our youth group's existence. We truly felt we could not have found a more perfect space for all the games and activities we conducted.
