Shore Bet is a great house for a family. The backyard is amazing with so much to do. Perfect location on a quiet dead end street. The realty group was extremely easy to deal with & very friendly. Beds, furniture comfy. The house needs some TLC though. We rented this house last year & nothing has been updated or changed. Beach chairs are very rusted. The kitchen has random serving ware so it can make cooking home meals a little tough. That being said, we would def rent this house again.

Despite cloudy rainy weather we had a wonderful time. We attributed this to the renal property. It was clean, spacious, full of fun activities (pool table, ping pong table, lots of space and close to town and beach). We want to come back and we will return as we loved the island and the home, We are totally satisfied customers.

Great property, we were given the wrong lockbox code by email but it was resolved really quickly and after that everything was as shown in the information. Lovely property, lots to do and great location on a beautiful island. Great restaurants and cafes locally, beautiful beaches and great kayaking with manatees.

We had a wonderful time at the property. The pool was clean and so was the house. However, the kitchen, kitchen appliances, and dishes are VERY outdated. I do not recommend you stay here if you are planning to cook often. The bathrooms were outdated as well but it's not that big of an issue since one does not spend a significant amount of time there. Communication with the host was excellent. The house is located in a nice area.

Home is beautiful. Location perfect. Back yard and pool area perfect (if there had not been trash everywhere). Beach close! Advertised as fully stocked kitchen…NOPE. Not even enough for a family of 5. We had to buy cookware, plates and utensils to get by for the week. All dishes and cookware were dirty and put away in that condition. Dishwasher was disgusting and made dishes dirtier. There had been no maintenance on it… EVER. Washer was falling apart and left marks on clothes. Again, no maintenance. Water and ice dispenser on fridge was filthy and covered with mold and mildew. No maintenance. Seems there were 20 or so remotes in the house, for tvs, lights and fans. None had working batteries. Some no batteries at all. We had to buy a ton of batteries. Arcade game was out of order. Incorrect lock box code was given to us and we were unable to check in. Took forever to get the correct code. While waiting we discovered all sliding glass doors in the house were unlocked anyway. Not comforting but at least we could get in. Especially since the trash in 4 bins was piled over, had been there for days, smelled of dead animals and there were huge swarms of flies around them and millions or more maggots everywhere. On Saturday, was promised twice the trash would be taken care of on Sunday. It was not. We could not go outside with our being swarmed while trying to get in our car and the smell got worse by the second. Property management addressed none of my concerns except door code.

This was our first time on Anna Maria Island and we really enjoyed our stay! Shore Bet was a comfortable and fun house to stay in with three kids under sixteen yrs old. The pool was small, but we enjoyed it and used the pool table/outdoor games the whole trip! The artificial grass in the backyard gets VERY hot in the sun, so wearing sandals all the time is a must. We were given the wrong code to get in the house, but we called the agency and they got us right in and stayed on the phone until we did. Someone did show up a day before our scheduled departure to inspect it and walked right into the house while we were there, but it was clearly a mistake and they left quickly. The kitchen supplies are very basic, so we ended up doing take out most of the week. The beach cart and chairs were very handy and we used them every day and the walk to the beach access wasn't too far and not crowded. The next door neighbor seemed to do his leaf blowing in his back yard every night at dinner time, so we had to move inside to eat several nights. During the day the neighborhood is very quiet and we very much enjoyed our stay!

This property was amazing. It was perfect for our family of 5. The backyard, pool and game room were super fun & entertaining. We opened all of the doors to the screen porch which was great-breezy & doubled the size of the family room. The location was perfect-it was on a dead end street & close to shops/restaurants by bike and golf cart. You could walk to the beach. Beds were comfortable & a lot of room for clothes/storage. Plenty of beach gear. A little rusty but they do the job! We will definitely be staying here again!

Great location on the island (couple minute walk to beach). Bedrooms were nice with master being very large. GREAT outdoor entertaining area in back. AMI was extremely helpful and made everything very easy.

We enjoyed our stay at AMI Locals’ Shore Bet home- other than the dock being about 1/3 of the way obstructed by a boat lift. We trailered our 23’ boat three plus hours down to this home after being told it would fit our boat. You’re not able to use the boat lift and it takes up at least 1/3 of the total dock space. Other than that- the home and location were wonderful. We recommend AMI Locals updates their listing to accurately reflect the dock issue; it’s a headache for boat owners thinking they’ll be able to dock here.

Beautiful house

Clean and fresh comfortable house with the most beautiful back screened in porch! The pool was fresh and clean too! The neighborhood was quiet lined with friendly locals! A Good walkable distance to the beach, or a short drive across the street if you’re lucky to get one of few parking spaces. A cute town with everything you need in close proximity! ( spring breakers filled the area while we were there... however PERFECT weather balanced them out)

Good location, run down property

This property is located on a quiet street walking distance to the beach and the Main Street. The houses itself is clean , but pretty much run down, old, the furniture is old, dishes are old, unpleasant to use, the swimming pool is small. If you are planning to cook, make sure to confirm that you have everything you need-there are no normal size cooking pots, frying pens are scratched and heavily used, knives are impossible to use. All those things make it feel like we didn’t get a good value with this property for the price we paid. This property needs renovation, refurnishing and new dishes and kitchen utensils.

Fun spot! We are a very outdoorsy family so this house was perfect for us. We rented kayaks and spent more time exploring the waterways from the dock then we did at the beach. Our kids loved fishing off the dock and our daughter said that "It's a perfect pool because it gets so much sun!" So you can guess were she spent most of her time! The house was clean and has a great screened in porch that we used a lot as well. Would absolutely recommend and will book again in the future.
