This house was absolutely perfect for a little weekend getaway with my friends! We all had a great time and would certainly be interested in going back!
3.0 / 5.0
Well stocked, good location. There were 6 of us, ages 60+. Hot tub wasn’t clean and filter showed past due for cleaning. Contacted rental office, tech was sent, no change was ever seen on the filter display/water film so we didn’t use the hot tub at all.
Bedrooms were very comfortable but the carpets are very stained. I did mention this to the office when calling about the hot tub and although we did not require anyone come out, it should be cleaned to keep an exceptional rating.
Couldn’t use the fire pit unless exiting from the front of the house and walking around to the back via the side yard—too steep for one of our guest who was recovering from knee replacement. The house is 3 levels but none of the decks have stairs leading from deck to deck so if you can’t do steep outside stones, you’re out of luck on using the fire pit.
We really wished we could have gotten to the lower level via stairs from the top deck (all guest were fine with regular stairs) and will pay closer attention to that detail when renting in the future.

Overall house is well appointed though interiors are dated, and carpet very very dirty and stained. We didn’t even use one bedroom as carpet so gross. The location and exteriors very nice. New fire pit area very well done. Property manager very responsive.

We enjoyed this house so much last year, everyone wanted to stay here again this year.
The showers are awesome! All of our needs were met.
We all had a great time. With so many of us, we had to shuffle cars a bit, but there is overflow if needed.
If you are looking for a beautiful house with the best view of Grandfather Mountain, this is the house for you.

We had a great time and the property was wonderful, we did have some issues upon arrival with the access code for our door but after a quick call to property management, they were able to resolve problem and helped us kick off a great weekend. There was some trash that had been left on the property as well as we came across some dog poop outside along the walkway down to the fire pit. Overall the stay was wonderful and I would highly consider rebooking if we're ever back in the area. This is now on my top 10 places to stay!

The house was very well set up for two families to stay comfortably. The property was clean and the bottled water and cookies were a nice surprise. The proximity of the house to the base of the ski mountain made it easy to go back and forth throughout the ski day. The downstairs area was perfect for families traveling with children who could enjoy gaming and ping pong away from the adults.

We loved the property, especially the fire pit and games. It is also very convenient to grocery stores and activities. Decor was great. We really enjoyed having so many bathrooms. Will certainly consider staying again.

Loved this cabin! Very clean and spacious! The views were beautiful , the fire pit was really nice , and we appreciated having corn hole and the ping pong/pool table combo! Added bonus was the little playground just a few houses away - perfect for our 2 year old grandson! Thank you to the owners for sharing their beautiful home! Management company was great too! We hope to come back sometime!

This large, well appointed rustic cabin accommodated our family group of 8 very comfortably - and the hot tub and beautiful pavered fire pit area were the icing on the cake. Thank you!

We are a large family of 9 that loved this cabin. The lower level was perfect for those in their 20's who stay up later with ping pong, games, etc. while others could sleep quietly upstairs. Large Hot tub was a blessing after hikes and the golfers enjoyed the golf course 1 mile away with beautiful views. The house had everything we needed and communication was excellent. The view of Grandfather Mountain was perfect with large decks to enjoy. The rooms were huge and big bathrooms impressive! We will book again!

One Day More was the perfect house for a long weekend getaway with the guys. It was clean and had plenty of space for everyone to stay comfortably. We used one of the services they provide to have groceries delivered and stocked prior to our arrival. They had all the basic needs for cooking, plus a few spices to work with. We enjoyed the fire pit as well. If you're a ping pong enthusiast, you might bring your own paddles, as the ones in the house are not in great condition. It didn't stop us from enjoying a few competitive games.

Excellent location with a perfect view of Grandfather mountain. Just a short distance to the ski lodge. My only complaint was when we arrived our cabin wasn’t ready. The cleaning crew was still inside so we drove back down the mountain to grab a bite to eat. We came back up around 6:40pm 2hrs and 40 minutes past our check in time and they were just pulling out as we arrived. Once inside the cabin itself was beautiful but the cleanliness definitely needs some TLC and a deep cleaning (especially in the kitchen) but overall we had a wonderful time with our family. ☺️

3 generations of our family celebrated the New Year with new memories made at One More Day. This large cabin had spectacular views of Grandfather Mountain from the Great Room as well as the welcoming back patio and firepit! We prepared all our meals in the family-friendly kitchen as well. The home was spacious enough to allow the 11 of us lots of breathing room during our 4 night stay.

Overall, our stay was wonderful. We had plenty of room for the 7 of us and we enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. Unfortunately, the fireplace no longer worked after the second day, which was disappointing. The hot water was also sporadic, either scalding hot or freezing cold if someone just took a shower.

This property was great for our group. We had 6 adults and 6 kids (ages 11 to 2). There was more than enough space for the group. The kids had enough things to keep their interest. The cabin was as advertised and met all of the expectations. Great place in a great location. We will definitely be back.

Nice property with a great view from the deck. Enjoyed the fire pit and ping pong!
4.0 / 5.0
Everything was great, the only negative is that we couldn't get into the cabin because they gave me the wrong code (or they never updated the lock to match the code). We arrived after 5 so called the emergency line, which didn't pick up at first. It took about half an hour before we could get someone to give us the correct door code.

Highly recommend this property!

Excellent Location & Family Friendly!
If you're taking the family to play in the snow at Sugar Mountain, this place is perfect! Located near the slopes and near the amenities in town, but far enough away to enjoy a beautiful view of the mountain. Our family really enjoyed this trip and made amazing memories. Great Getaway
We are a group of longtime friends who take an annual Sugar Mountain ski trip. We’ve used many different accommodations in the area over the years, and this one was probably our favorite. The ping pong table was perfect for our group, and the hot tub is always great after a day of skiing.

Beautifully rustic on the inside with great views of the mountains. Jacuzzi was awesome after long day of skiing on Sugar Mountain which was 5 minutes away. Management was very helpful with a small fireplace issue. They emailed us several times during our stay to see how we were doing. Would definitely stay there again.
